SETTING and BASICS
The setting takes place in a world called Talander. There is no "digital" technology so to speak. In this world there is magic, however, the races are restricted compared to other RPs. Oh, and by race I mean the creatures that are intellegent enough to talk in an understandable langauge (Enlgish). In this case, if you want to be a race that is not mentioned, please pm me. Here is your basic information, and I reserve to right to make some exceptions to these.
RACE:
-Humans
-Elves (That includes all kinds)
-Giants
-Centaurs
-Arachne
-Dwarves
MAGIC:
-Elemental: Fire, wind, water, earth.
-Yin and Yang: Dark and Holy (Can't have both).
-Kartia: The use of using cards to cast or create things. This is done by writing certain certain characters on the cards, and depending on the type of material that the card is the object or magic might be stronger.
-Rune: The use of ancient symbols that must be "recieved" by touching what it is magically carved on. Most common object is a a large stone, or some kind of earth.
REGIONS/ REALMS:
-Valhan: A very big and vast region, most common for almost all races to live in. Also known as the "City Region" since most buildings are very well devloped. Cities and streets bustle about lively, and even at night people are seen around and about buying things. The most common attraction are the morning and night markets in the low residence, and the scyscrapers in the more upper class. The region, unlike some other regions, is dvided by the others with a gigantic wall. It encircles the region, protecting it from any unexpected intrusion.
-Upper World: If there was a ranking system for the regions, this region would be ranked top. The name Upper World does jest when it comes to the wonders of the other regions. For some unknown reason this is the only region that can float extremely high in the sky by natural means. This means no object, person, magic, or invisible supprt suspends it in the air. The Upper World has many natural trees and what people called ancient ruins. The polution here is extrmely low, since the only thing that polutes the atmosphere is the smoke from black smiths, or the small fires that are used to heat water and create camp fires. Though not as large in population, the land is almost as big as Valhan. Most of the people here are elves, and then there are a few selected Humans and dwarves. Humans who live there act as servants to the royal house, and the ndwarves as black smiths. Since the scenery is so good and resources are greatly desired, there is an extremely strong magical force field put around the region. The land that settles below the rgion is mostly barren land.
-International Region Police Continent (IRPC): As then name implies this is where most of the police around the regions are from. This region is specificly used to train enforcers of the Talander law. Ranging from simple crowd control to S grade monster execution. Even though there are a lot of police train facilities, that doesn't mean there are residences for nromal cititzens. Thes places are always near training sites, there for families can live together. The Region's borders are protected by high level traps and elite police specificly selected by the head hancho. IRPC borders almost all regions. They're also equiped with an advanced magical device that teleports them to distant areas within in the regions for emergency.
