Intro
On a planet, in a separate dimension, far away, society has grown farther than on earth, but also differently. Magic plays a huge role in the lives of the people of Granth. Schools teach magic, not arithmetic nor language, and most schools also have separate classes for male and female. Also, classes are different for each elemental type of magic. Most children are left to fend for themselves at the age of 12.

Basic Story
Two groups of friends at a high school on Granth are the strongest in their classes. Six girls and six guys are each placed in a social experiment class that is for only the strongest in the school. These teens become the best of friends. Naturally, friends can fight, disband, or remain together.

Rules
you must read these before you join. There are the usual rules that people put in their RPs and also ones that may be specific to this RP.
1) Follow Gaia’s TOS
2) No godmoding or powerplaying EVER!
3) PM me all profiles. I like to check and make sure everything is set up correctly.
4) Be nice! If you don’t, people won’t like you, and you will most likely get kicked out.
5) Don’t post until you are accepted by me! If you post before that, you WILL NOT get accepted, even if your profile was phenomenal.
6)Short posts are okay, but less than two sentences is unacceptable.
7)All OOC posts should be shown in some way ex: ((blah blah blah))
cool If you don’t post for more than three days/ three pages(unless we really get going, and three pages comes uber fast~!) of the RP, you will be kicked out. So, keep active! (This doesn’t count if you say beforehand that you are leaving for whatever period of time. I would like you to get your character alone if you do this.)
9) You do not have to read the pages of posting that people made before you joined. Your character wouldn't of been there, so they have no clue what happened the other characters in the ast, so why should you have to?
10)These rules may be changed at any time by me. If you have another rule you would like me to add, tell me in either a PM or OOC

Character Choices
There are male and female characters. The ages should be from 14-19. We can start the RP without the full 12 people, and yes, if you want to, you can be a male if you are a female or vice versa.
Characters are elemental. If a character is already taken, I’ll strike it out from the list below.
We may have a few teachers, but if you do that then you have to find your own picture.

Character Info Water is both ice and water. The form that it is in cannot be changed when a fire or lighting attack comes. skip lightning, as I have no character pictures for it as of yet. Think of it like this: Fire melts ice, Ice blasts Wind, Wind blows away Earth, Earth sucks up Water, and Water puts out Fire. Then, of course, the celestial elements Dark and Light are weak and strong to each other; whichever attack has more brute force will win. So, if you have any kind of battle that an element isn't weak against the other, you should roll six six sided dice. Whichever sum of the three dice is higher, then that character wins. The first example of this is between my two characters on page 16. Do not use this method if the fight is between water and fire, fire and ice, ice and wind, wind and earth or earth and water. In these battles, the element which is 'stronger' gets to roll seven eight sided dice. In light and darkness(or darkness and light) battles, use the first dice option.

Special Profiles are characters that can be controlled by all characters, so long as they can keep their personality the same. The colors are reversed from the normal character profiles. Personality:Irith comes off as introverted and quiet at first, but after getting to know him, Irith is quite the talker. He is mostly known for his ability to fit in any crowd ,any conversation and remain very calm. On the off-chance Irith does get angry, he seems to everyone to keep his composure, but although the surface is calm, the depths may have threatening currents. He is renowned for his skill at Necromancy, and he applied to be a teacher so that he could earn some money for magical experiments. Supposedly, he failed a magical ritual to make himself into a god. He doesn't much like the students, but his teaching skills are superb, so the school keeps him on.Personality:Generally cruel, vicious, sadistic, and a sociopath, he has a personality akin to a mass-murderer. In fact, he is a omnicidal maniac in disguise, and is acquiring minions for this purpose. Luckily, he will not succeed for the next hundred or so years.

Toni laughed as he set the last piece of his trap. it was a line of candy hearts on the floor of the school hallway leading all the way from the west side dorms to the green house, then up to the second floor of the green house to the balcony. He then slipped his shirt off and struck a seductive pose. It was un-cool for such a highly ranked student to do such things, but he could not resist when they just handed out candy hearts for free all week.

Anthony grabbed a charm diamond from his belt that was lying on the bedside table. It was his favorite method of attack, though he could attack without them. Anthony sent a pulse of dark energy into the charm and watched as it sparked and grew. He felt magic pulse through it as he flung it at the target he had in his room. He gave a look of satisfaction as it exploded in a cloud of dark energy. Anthony pulled on a cloak over his under shirt and tightened the neck clasp. He put on his belt with the charms and left the room.

Toni took another moment to fix his hair just so and place his arms behind his head. He hummed softly his half lidded eyes gazed at the top of the stairs leading up to 'his' balcony. A breeze blew over his bare upper torso and he shivered slightly Goosebumps rose on his tanned skin, but pranks were worth the pain and uncomfortably.

Anthony found a trail of candy and followed it, slightly curious. He came upon Toni and his emerald eyes rimmed by blood red narrowed, "Immaturity at its finest." he growled. His eyes flashed and the room darkened as his agitation grew with his fellow top student.

Toni blushed deep red when he saw that it was Anthony who had stumbled across him. Oh well he had to finish the prank or else he would always regret it. He plucked up the final pink heart from in front of him and licked the back of it then stuck it at the base of his neck it read 'Be Mine', and so Toni had to say it.... "Be mine?" He asked his voice lower and intentionally smooth. She stood quickly and held his arms out for the boy knowing that he was in for some pain... Anthony never was a very good sport.

Anthony's mouth dropped open. With lighting fast speed he took a charm from his belt and filled it with energy. Anthony threw it at his classmate, striking him in the chest with a large explosion of dark energy, "Never in my entire life have I ever been disrespected so!" he roared at the boy, his voice seeped with venom and acid and his eyes turned black in his rage.

Eliza walked back onto the school grounds after returning from a trip to town that the school administrator had sent her on. This is so pointless, she thought idly as she opened the door to the front office. She stepped in and felt the cold air rush into the heated from behind her. She shut the door behind her and told the student managing the front desk that she needed to see the administrator. He didn't look up from his book, but pointed behind him, as a way of letter Eliza know she was allowed to pass. She jogged down the hall to the main office, and opened her "father's" door without knocking. No one was there, but she left the paper bag she had gotten on his desk with a messy note that read, "Here's the stuff you ordered -kisses, Eliza."
She then walked out of his office and down the hall. She left the main office and into the huge school grounds.The sun shone brightly into her eyes, and her hand came up to shield them. Eliza ran across the track and field area, avoiding the students practicing their magic. She was halfway across when some yelled, "Hey, Eliza!" She pretended to not hear. She recognized the low tenor voice as the practical magic instructor for the beginning class. "Hey!" came the voice again as a hand came down on her shoulder. She turned.
"Yes?' She asked as innocently as she could with a smile on her face.
"Could you help me out? The kids are having trouble grasping the whole concept of fire magic."
"Sure," She said, and started over to the freshmen students.
