Name: Avlur Art
Gender: Male
Height: 6ft 2in
Age: 17
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Short (spikey)
Hair Color: Brown
Summoner: Yes

Personality: Avlur is a very funny, yet serious type of fella. He often times likes to sit up on high places. He is one you can tell anything to and you wont need to worry about it getting around. He is very relaxed most of the time when its just him wondering around with his best friend Assan. This doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a serious side to him. When trouble comes around he will address the problem accordingly. He isn’t one to get up and start brawling right then and there. He prefers to stay calm and try talking things out before any needs for violence.

Strengths:

Book-Worm: Avlur is a very avid reader for most his age. His love of books first began at a young age when his grandfather would read him bedtime stories about princesses and hero’s battling dragons. From here he begins to start reading everything in sight. One story a night did not satisfy him anymore, he had to read a lot more to get to sleep. Once he had finished every old fable his Grandfather had collected, he began wondering into more mysterious looking books. It was from here he learned the history of Canis and what some of the creatures that use to inhabit were like. To this day he still carries around on book entitled “Canis Mythological History” as a book to easily read in his spare time.

Calm: Avlur is not one to neither begin trouble nor go looking for it. In times of trouble he will often try to use his words to connect with people and try to grasp their understanding on why they are mad at him or his fellow party members. This has been something taught to Avlur from a very young age. When littler he had a habit of being a real brat and screaming and getting angry at his little brother when ever he did something or said something to him. It was his grandfather who stepped in and taught Avlur that if he stayed calm and collected everything would turn out better in his favor. It was from here that being calm and relax just became nature to him.

Flaws:

Loner: This was a flaw that haunted Avlur from the beginning. It was because of his love of books that when it came time for recess or social gatherings he was so un-lively. It was due to his constant reading that while others were talking and making friends Avlur kind of missed that stepping stone in his lifetime. It got better to a degree where he can in fact keep a conversation with someone, but not to the point where he isn’t by himself as much.

Time slow: By time slow of course this means that Avlur is really bad a keeping track of time. He often forgets when to meet someone. This problem really only happens when he is not with Assan. This problem was due to his younger years as well. Because he loved books so much he would often keep them from the library for a very long time. Avlur tries his hardest to keep everything on time by keeping a Time schedule. Just be ready for him when he looses it cause it will be quite a while before he finds time to go buy another one.

History: Avlur is your basic runs of the mill happy go lucky kids. He grew up knowing both of his biological parents, as well as with his grandfather on his mother’s side. He lived in a small village in the Eldrig Forest. Growing up his life was indeed normal. He enjoyed the life he live with his family. It was his Grandfather who he hung out with the most though. His Grandfather would give him “Lessons” he called it, about special people and creatures. Avlur at the time enjoyed it due to his love of fairy tales from being a kid. When he got older he started to drift away from the whole idea of these “Special People” and creatures. It was until he found out he was indeed a summoner that he fully believed. His Grandfather told him to go out into the world and figure out why they are back, and to learn as much as possible.

Hound: Assan
Gender: Male
The Summoning:

The night it had all happen was one that Avlur would not soon forget. His Grandfather Vairdic had brought him to his study. It was only he and Avlur in the house that night. Vairdic had brought Avlur here due to some problems that Avlur wanted to talk about. Vairdic thought it was just something as mundane as a crush on a girl, or bullies picking on him again. Once they had sit down to talk Vairdic asked Alvur what this problem he was having. Avlur began to speak about a a tolling noise, as if something was calling out to him. Vairdic stood from his chair and pulled out a book from his shelf. He turned to Avlur and asked him if he had finally finished reading most of the books he had told him to read. Avlur hesitated at first thinking about it, but then shook his head to his grandfather. Vairdic sat back down and began telling him the history of the hounds and how they have indeed returned. Avlur just began smiling and telling his grandfather how these stories always did make him laugh and smile. Vairdics face grew serious and took Avlur to the forest behind the house. Avlur asked where they were going until his grandfather had stopped in the middle of a clearing surrounded by trees. Vairdic walked a few steps in front of Avlur and closed his eyes concentrating, as if he were meditating. Suddenly a Hound came crashing down from the sky and landed right behind his grandfather. Vairdic began explaining to him that it was very uncommon for someone in the same family to be a summoner as well, yet how he believes that Avlur may posses the same ability he does as well. It was at the moment that the tolling became more prompt. Vairdic explained to Avlur that it maybe because of being around his hound that the tolling is amplified. His grandfather’s hound picked up Avlur. Vairdic told Avlur he must take his hound and ride him to where the tolling is coming from and when he is a few feet away from the source to get off his hound. He told Avlur that if this tolling did come from a hound and it had awakened to see him and his hound it might cause confusing to the pup. Avlur rode the dog closer to the tolling sound; it went far from where they were, miles into the forest. Deep to the point where they had found ruins. Avlur jumped off of the hound and began walking to a opening of a cave. When he turned around to see if his Grandfathers hound was there, it had vanished. He began walking through a very long tunnels system, making numerous lefts and rights. It was until he stumbled on to a giant room; in the middle of it there was a cauldron. Once he had stepped into the room his body felt as if something was trying to get in him. His body walked over to some weird looking rocks and picked one up. After he moved to a small pool of water and scooped some up to place in the cauldron. He found more and more bits and pieces of things that would go into this cauldron. He began chanting words he did not quite understand but knew he wouldn’t remember. From this he fell back and everything had gone black for what seemed to be second. After coming to he saw on top of his stomach lying there was a small pup sleeping away. Avlur quickly picked up the pup and placed him on the ground. He had not known what happen to him, all he remembers was stepping into the cave and then nothing. He stopped for a second as he heard clapping from behind him. Vairdic was standing there applauding and could only say.
“I’m the proudest grandparent in the entire world.”
Once back at the house Vairdic told avlur to keep the secret between the two of them and how the world is not quite ready for the hounds to be back. From this Avlur spent the next few weeks training and playing with his new hound. Learning what he could from the books his grandfather had. Once the hound had mature it spoken its first words.
“What is my name human?”
Avlur stood there and looked out to the distance where his and his grandfathers favorite lake was. There it had a waterfall that him and his grandfather would always swim by in the hot summer days.
“Assan, and I am your friend Avlur”
