▌Anything he fears revolves around his Creatures. Jasper is always more worried about his animals than he is himself. At least he can respawn.
♕ PERSONALITY ❞
As his title and reputation would suggest, Jasper is a loner. He's almost entirely silent, choosing to speak only to his Creatures, and lives apart from any tribes. When he does interact willingly with others, it's usually to trade materials with other Survivors that have a good reputation with him. Surprisingly, however, he's solitary purely out of preference. Jasper isn't anymore mistrusting than the next person, though being alone has made him cautious of strangers. Jasper simply likes needing to worry about himself and his Creatures rather than an entire group of people. Regardless, Jasper isn't rude or without moral. He has helped others in the past, oftentimes without reward, and he prefers to try and part on good terms rather than bad ones with people.
♕ BIOGRAPHY ❞
Jasper doesn't remember the life he had before the ARK. The first thing he remembers is spawning in the Valguero simulation and almost immediately being taken in by a tribe. His time with this tribe was fairly short; it seemed to exist purely to show new Survivors the ropes. Teach them the basics like gathering materials, crafting, maintaining stats, and - most importantly - taming the wild Creatures around them. Jasper was a quick study, learning with honest enthusiasm, and before he really knew it, he was given the task of taming his first Creature. This is what led to him taming Nightwind, his Argentavis, who is still with him nineteen years later. After his first tame, Jasper was ready to truly begin his life in Valguero. For the most part, it's been fairly peaceful. Jasper spends most of his days exploring, oftentimes astride a Creature. While he's certainly been all over the map, somehow he still manages to find something new; usually a new settlement or maybe a cave that had gone unnoticed. If he's not exploring, he's either trading with other Survivors or at his own base.

♕ WEAPON : Primitive Sword; The undisputed ruler of short-range combat.
▌N/A : No skills of note.
♕ WEAPON : Primitive Crossbow; Has significantly more power than the Bow, but cannot fire rapidly. Can be fired underwater.
▌Stone Arrow : A basic arrow with a flint arrowhead. If it doesn't break, Jasper can recover his ammo.
▌Tranquilizer Arrow : Less deadly than other arrows, but rapidly increases the target's Torpidity. If the arrows don't break, Jasper can recover Stone Arrows.
▌Flame Arrow : Lights the target on fire, and can also light oil slicks.
♕ WEAPON : Compound Bow; A high-tech bow made of durable alloy. Can launch arrows at high velocity.
▌Metal Arrow : An armor-and-hide piercing metal arrow. Can be retrieved if it doesn't break on impact.

▌Survival : Jasper is an experienced survivalist. He can hunt and forage as effectively as a person can. Ironically, he's not very good at fishing, but thankfully he has plenty of Creatures that can do that for him.
▌Stealth : As he's on his own and that's how he likes it, Jasper is a very stealthy individual. He can sneak in and out of places fairly easy, assuming he has a plan and nothing disrupts it, and he's even an accomplished thief. How do you think he got a Wyvern and Deinonychus egg to begin with?
▌Creature Taming : As a lone wolf, Jasper doesn't have a tribe to rely on. Because of this, he's more experienced at taming the Creatures of Valguero than the other Survivors. He has to be since he needs to defend unconscious Creatures on his own.
▌Creature Rearing : Though not very good at husbandry in general, Jasper is an experienced nurturer when it comes to taking care of and raising baby Creatures.
▌Crafting & Construction : A universal skill that all the Survivors have. Using the Specimen Implant, they're able to store materials and use them to craft. Some of these items are used for building. Jasper himself is more efficient with hidden constructions.
▌Enhanced Durability, Speed, and Fortitude : All of the people in Valguero can customize their stats through a leveling system. Jasper has focused on his Health, Stamina, Speed, and Fortitude stats. He isn't very strong, but he has the health to make up for that while his high stamina and speed make him quick on his feet for longer periods of time. Thanks to his fortitude, he can survive longer in extreme temperatures.
♕ SUMMON : Cryopod
The device necessary to carry and transport his Creatures. A pod can hold a single Creature, so Jasper always has at least six on him at any given time.
▌Fire Wyvern ♂ Byzant : Jasper's pride and joy. Byzant is a fire wyvern that he hatched and raised himself. Their bond is incredibly strong. He is usually Jasper's first choice of companion when going out on long trips. His name comes from the purple membranes of his wings and tail fins. Most of his body is covered in black scales and his underside is fiery orange. Focused stats are Health, Stamina, and Damage.
▌Deinonychus ♀ Shredwing : A fairly typical-looking one of her species but still a pride of Jasper's as she's another one of his reared Creatures. Like Byzant, her bond with Jasper is stronger than that of the others, but she doesn't often go on long trips with him. She's strong and agile, which makes her an ideal protector while he's away. One of her abilities is to cling to large Creatures for more damage and scaling vertical surfaces. She's also immune to fall damage, making her ideal for otherwise dangerous jumps. Her feathers are orange and blue, and she has grey skin like most Deinonychus. Focused stats are Stamina, Speed, and Damage.
▌Deinosuchus ♀ Big Daddy : Jasper was one of the first to tame a deinosuchus when they were first introduced to the ARK. Big Daddy is a speed demon in the water with the damage output of a monster and she's his first choice of underwater exploration. However, he rarely ever uses her name out of embarrassment as he lost a bet with Sydney, and instead calls her Biggie. Focused stats are Health, Stamina, Speed, and Damage.
▌Argentavis ♀ Nightwind : The first Creature that Jasper ever tamed. Nightwind is a bit of a special Argentavis as her coloring is unique; black and midnight blue feathers and crimson legs. She's not very fast as her kind are typically slow, but she's strong. Nightwind can carry a lot of weight without tiring and is more durable than Byzant. When it comes to transporting Creatures from hostile environments, she's his go-to. Focused stats are Health, Stamina, and Weight.
▌Reaper ♂ Sweetheart : When Jasper calls Sweetheart his son, he means it. The only way to tame a Reaper is to rear one and the only way to end up with a baby Reaper is to be impregnated with the egg by a Reaper Queen. For this reason, tamed Reapers only obey the Survivor they were birthed from. He had to travel to the Aberration ARK to get a Reaper and it's the only time he's ever left Valguero. Sweetheart is predominantly purple with pink accents and red eyes. Despite looking like something from a horror movie, Sweetheart is actually...a sweetheart. At least when it comes to Jasper; strangers are treated as threats and allies are tolerated only as long as Jasper wants them around. Focused stats are Health, Stamina, and Damage.
▌Featherlight ♂ Kisami : Not necessarily a summon as, unless underwater, Jasper is always carrying him on his shoulder. Kisami is a bird with rainbow feathers that are predominantly bright red and blue eyes that is capable of glowing to provide light in dark places. He's been trained not to glow unless Jasper gives him the command via stroking the crown feathers on his head. When he glows, not only is he a good source of light, but his light staves of Creatures that live in darkness like a barrier. Focused stats are Health, Charge Capacity, Charge Regen, and - surprisingly - Damage. Yeah. The little guy can do a lot of hurt with his tiny talons, so be careful.

▌Due to existing in an advanced simulation, many of the things that happen reflect that. When Jasper changes clothes, his clothes change as if in a character creation scene and if he dies, he'll respawn at the last place he slept. Without his equipment and inventory, of course.
▌Jasper is mute by choice, speaking only in hushed whispers to his Creatures and no one else. Even then, when doing so, he speaks in a made-up language that only he and his Creatures can understand. When he does need to communicate with another person, he will. He just doesn't like it.
▌Even though he doesn't like Tek, he tolerates Cryopods because they make it possible to safely bring several Creatures with him when he leaves his base.
▌Being a Crystal Bearer is the reason Jasper's tames all feel more "real" than the wild Creatures or the tames of other Survivors. It's as if the crystal gives them life, granting them individual personalities and allowing him to form honest connections with them. Jasper doesn't know this, though; he honestly just thinks the "personalities" are AI malfunctions. Not that he minds them either way.
▌Since Valguero is non-canon to the ARK storyline, I will be taking plenty of liberties with how the world works.

Jasper's most recent addition to his tribe. She's a fairly standard griffin in terms of appearance with no special color mutations and while her personality is still developing, she appears to be a feisty Creature.

Avalanche was Jasper's first "successful" hatched rex in his preparation to fight the Guardians; the one that got all the best stat mutations and came out with decent color mutations. She's a white and grey rex with pale blue accents, hence her name. She seems to have adapted to Jasper's seriousness, always taking any task and command seriously, though she also has a high tolerance for others' silliness. Avalanche isn't affectionate by default, but makes exceptions for Jasper and Bubbles. Against all odds, Avalanche has survived every fight against the Guardians and was the only one of his creatures to survive the Overseer fight. Naturally, this has bonded her and Jasper beyond the standard.

The first big Creature that Jasper ever tamed. Like Avalanche, his mate, Bubbles' name reflects his appearance; he's mostly pale blue with white accents. Unlike his mate, Bubbles is an incredibly playful and affectionate Creature. However, he has a serious side to him when it comes to protecting Avalanche and the rest of their tribe.

Jasper tamed Ghost during the first annual Halloween event hosted on the ARK. Shape-wise, Ghost looks no different from any other direwolf. However, as his name suggests, he looks like a spirit rather than a physical animal. Ghost is the strongest of Jasper's direwolf pack and carries the position of the pack leader because of it. He is an empathetic Creature, though not very affectionate, and is usually the first one to react to danger when its near.

Founder and leader of the Empyreans, the largest nomadic tribe in Valguero. Sydney and Jasper spent a lot of time together in the same beginner's tribe during their early days in the ARK where they formed a friendly rapport with one another. While she rules Empyrea with a fair but stern fist and is incredibly strict when it comes to resource trading, she has an open door policy when it comes to Jasper. Whatever he needs, he can have, because Sydney knows he wouldn't come to her for resources if he wasn't in a pinch. There's always been something familiar about Sydney that has the alarm bells in Jasper's head lighting up, but he ignores it because there's never been any animosity between them. Still, this is why Jasper only goes to her when he needs something quickly.

Jasper wouldn't describe him and Lorenzo as friends. They're trade partners with a civil rapport, though there's obvious tension between them. Six months ago, Jasper assisted Lorenzo and a team from the Syndicate in knocking out three giganotosauruses, leading to a debt. Jasper has yet to cash in on that debt.
