Shelly groaned and set the rat on the bed. She stormed out into the hallway, but by time she got there the kids were gone. "Who's going to take care of Billy," she hollered out hoping to stop Mimi in her tracks.

Shelly knew the kids were too far for her to shout out her next thing. She didn't want to start screaming. "I have to take a shower too Mimi," she mumbled to herself while staring at Billy. She picked him back up and a smile started growing on her face. Shelly ran into the boys' room and gently put Billy on Marquis's bed. "Okay Marquis, it's your turn to watch him, bye," she yelled and ran out the door after the other two.

Shelly got out and was lost in the crowd of people. She had no idea where Minty or Mimi were, and couldn't even tell where she was. She saw children running every which way, and some even looked like Mimi. But she was in the same conundrum Minty was in... *What was Mimi wearing?*

Jarc on the other hand was having a great time. He had materials sent to the building so that he could fix all the issues it had. He used alchemy to mix them and instantly fill all the cracks. He replaced the windows on his own. He remodelled all the rooms, and placed a western stile door on the entrance. He built a counter that reached wall to wall from scratch and put two archways behind it for where the kitchen area would be. He even prepared the upstairs so that everyone could sleep up there. He was sweating like a pig and the heat was getting to him. Jarc was still in his jeans, boots, and black wife beater. He didn't care how badly they needed to fit in, he hadn't worn any other outfit since he found it and could fit in it. "I'll just be the cook from the outside world," he thought aloud with a smile. His jacket was on the counter. That was the only problem: this place was far too hot for jackets, but he'd adjust. Jarc was getting around to finish up sweeping when something didn't feel right anymore...

Shelly started getting worried. She didn't have any idea where to start. Not only that but the crowd of all these Ishballans were ticking her off. She had an idea, but thought it crazy and turned back around. She went into Jarc's room and pounded on the bathroom door. "The girls are lost and I need to take a shower. Marqui will you find them for me," she asked in a sweet tone. When she heard the water turn off she turned around smiling and went to her room to shower. Marquis came out with his hairless body shining like a gem. He dawned on a white long sleave shirt with long tan pants with a blue turban that came down and wrapped around his waist to keep the outfit connected. He slipped into some small, pointy shoes and stepped outside. He looked for the sturdiest building in the vicinity and once he found it he started his slow move towards it.

Jarc stepped outside and looked around. *Something is wrong...very wrong...*

Jarc felt Mimi's presence dissapear and he suddenly freaked. He ran back inside and put on his jacket and ran back out. People were all around and in his way. He pulled a little slip of paper out of his jacket. "Move," he screamed as he clapped his hands together and put the paper down on the ground.

While Shelly was busy taking a shower Marquis made his way lazily to the sturdiest building in the city. Once he finally got there he looked left, then right, then back up to the top of the building. He squatted down and jumped up. His enormous muscles sky-rocketted him to the roof of the building, where he grabbed hold of and clinged to the edge like a shaven King Kong. People from all around were stunned in shock from the feat, and all over the town wherever he could be seen people stopped and gaucked. "Must find the lil'n," he said with his free hand to his brow scanning the area without a care of the people. It at least made them stop and made it easier to scan. "...Must...find...the lil'n..." Off in the distance he saw a burst of sand next to the building Jarc was at. He paid no head, he knew it was Jarc freaking out.

Jarc simply pushed all the people away. Everyone in his path was now on the ground and everyone else was just staring at him. "Sorry," he blurted and started running in the direction he last felt Mimi's presence.

Marquis pulled himself up to the roof and sat on the corner with his feet dangling like a carefree child. "The lil'n is somewhere too far fer me ta see... What was she wearin?"

Shelly heard something scurry and opened up the curtain a little to look into the bathroom. He stood there staring at Billy who was quickly moving towards her shower and her face went pale. It was one thing when it was a sick, little rodent being held by a child, but a full grown rat was scurrying its way towards her shower was a completely different story!

Jarc slid to see into the alleyway he last felt Mimi in. She was awake, but he couldn't tell where. He growled in anger and started running back to the inn. He needed his sword. *It's a trap,* he thought and slid to a halt. He just stood there, getting angrier and angrier with every passing moment. "I don't care what it is," he yelled out and started running back to the inn again.

Marquis stood up and scanned the area more. He couldn't see her or even begin to imagine where she was. He heard Jarc's scream and his priorities suddenly changed. He squatted down and leapt from rooftop to rooftop trying to quickly make his way to his boy.

Shelly kept a watchful eye on the rodent. "What are you up to," she asked with her attention souly on Billy.

Marquis got to a rooftop where he could see the window to his room of the inn. Jarc had just ran into view and jumped right onto the window, as Marquis predicted he would. Jarc stopped suddenly and just as sudden as he had halted a gloved hand grabbed him by the neck and threw him to the other side of the room. Marquis jumped down from the building with a loud thump and began running to the inn. Jarc was slammed against their door and laid there staring at the figure. "But...but...we killed you," he yelled out before he was silenced. Shelly on the other hand didn't hear any of this going on. She heard Minty, but was too focused on Billy to be able to answer. Billy jumped into the curtain and she turned even paler. He slid down into the tumb and began drinking and Shelly let out an earshattering shriek.
