The golden sun was slowly creeping behind buildings of varying height. A black cat strolled sedately down a side street. Abruptly, it stopped, startled by something. Frozen in the shadows, it became apparent what was scaring the feline. A rumble, distant at first, but growing, was coming towards it. The cat's eyes narrowed as it took in the bolt of blue flash past the entrance. Eike had never learnt how to drive slowly. "Final turn, Final turn." He repeated, coming up to the main road that the club and car park were at the end of. Flicking the steering wheel right, then hard left, the back of the car slid out. Eike was used to this feeling, but something wasn't right, there was a vibration coming from the back of the car, it got bigger the further round the corner. Suddenly, the back of the car dropped and the rear of the car swapped end with the front and Eike found himself sliding backwards into a wall. The back end planted itself into the wall and Eike braced himself. After the crunch, he unclipped his belt and slid himself out to look at the damage; it was terrible, a complete write-off. He shook his head slowly, and felt a tear roll down his cheek. "You were good, you really were." reaching in, he picked out his belongings and took the numberplates off the front and back of the car. Leaving it where it was, he started the short walk to the club, where he waited for Bunny at the car park with the key.

She'd gone down the car park, expecting to find Eike's blue Rx7 already there, and she was suprised that it wasn't. She didn't have to wait long in the end for she saw a shadow enter the car park, not a car- but a person, walking alone. "Hello?" she called out, moving towards the figure, who she shortly recognised as Eike. Raising a brow, she glanced around. "Where's the car? Didn't leave it outside for someone to steal did you?" Bunny said scoffing back a laugh. If only she knew. It was moments before she looked down, seeing him hold two numberplates, and that puzzled her. Why on earth would he have ripped them off? What, he was scared soemone would steal them? "EIke.... Where's... Where's the car? and what are you doing holding those?" she asked curiously placing a hand on his arm, he didn't look all that great. What was wrong? "Eike.. What's wrong? How come you came by foot, I thought you took the car- infact, I saw you speed off with it".

The contact with Bunny was too much. Eike broke down in tears; "I... I planted it in a wall." the tears echoed through the empty car park, "I, I, don't know what it was, the back just slid too far and... I lost control." He looked up at her, "Have you ever been a passenger in a reversing car? It's not fun, and, I was the driver, I should've known what to do, but... but.." His words were cuts short by a stream of tears. He leant on Bunny's shoulder and sighed, tears still streaming

She hadn't expected this from Eike. No matter what happened. Eike in tears? Certainly something she'd never seen before. "Who... Whoa, Eike.. Eike, calm down.. Calm down" Bunny said quietly, quite shocked at what had happened. He'd crashed? The one that took so many risks and yet seemed to be the perfect driver? He actually crashed? "Eike, are you alright- hurt? Anywhere.. Everything okay?" she asked stuff the car- if he was injured well, no car being crashed into oblivion would be any matter. "Hey.. Shh, Eike.. It's okay.. Calm down, it's .. It's only a car, I know you liked it and all but- you know, you're life's more important, and if you'd crashed badly- what do you think i'd do. Be crying over a blue car, or you?"

Harley flew through an intersection and around a corner before she remembered one important thing she needed to tell Ted. "No matter what, you have to call me "Light" at the club, ok? Especially in front of Eike. No body else back home knows I work there, and no one at the CLub knows that Light lives at our house. Please don't blow my cover.." She said as she braked abruptly at a red light.

Harley shook her head as she moved her car into 2nd gear. "If they say anything, tell them you found that-" she nodded towards the object which was sitting in Ted's lap, "-And you had no way else to get to the Club so you started to walk, and I drove passed you and stopped, wondering what you were doing. Ok?" It was a little far fetched, but hopefully it would work.

Ted raised an eyebrow, "You thought of that just then?" he asked, not waiting for an answer he spoke again, "That is pretty good, i would never have thought of that", Ted quickly corrected himself, "But you are very smart, You can do a lot of things I can't"

Light grinned. "I know." They went through a series of turnes before coming up to the last one.

As they rounded it, Light spoted skid marks on the road, and bits of wreckage strewn over the place. Stamping on her break, Light forced the speeding car to stop. Not 10 feet away was Eike's car, smashed against a wall. The number plates were missing, and the car was totally destroyed. Turning it off, Light tugged her mask on before jumping out of her car and running to Eike's. The windscreen was gone, the seats a smashed mess. But there was something missing. There was no blood, and no Eike. That would mean he was ok, and relativly uninjured.

Ted followed behind 'Light'. "Har- Light, what happened, where is Eike?" he asked looking into the wreckage.

Light spun around, having momentarily forgotten Ted was with her. Gulping, and blinking furiously, she managed to voice her thoughts. "I am not completely sure, but I think he went the rest of the way to the Club. We should get there and make sure."

Ted nodded, grabbing Lights hand and pulling her towards the car, he broke off running to the other seat and hopping in, "Hey Harle- I mean Light, drive a bit slower, he might still be walking.

Light was dragged back to her car and forced into her seat. Not bothering with a belt, she turned the key and slammed the car into 3rd. Taking off, she remembered what Ted had told her about going slow, so she slowed and clutched her way back to first, and cruised alog, keeping her eyes open for Eike.

Ted looked at Light, "Put you're seatbelt on... please" he said leaning over her and grabbing the belt, making sure he didn't move in the way of her vision, after buckling her in, he straightened up and continued keeping a lookout for Eike.
