Lots of people on the East Coast pronounce it "OR-E-GONE". The correct way to pronounce it is "or-eh-gen".

I know, it is... But you're giving the Oregonians wayyy too much credit by thinking more than 10 or so people in that state can even spell... Or do anything but cry about the environment & go into debt by learning about their past lives by paying people who say they can talk to angels 200 bucks an hour...
