AD - Yes "madness" as in "fangirling"... It's frightening and I'm tired of hearing about OMFG HARRY at work. It hurts me.

Sup, ho?

(Doing guild leader announcement things, I see. Well done. <3
I miss the days of fundraising... lol )

Darkish Star - Yes, and you have no idea how safe I feel here. T__T *emotional*

Memai - Cynical bastards with style, thanks to that mental image. cool

Nyowifey - This is all your fault. x3 <3

s**t, Everytime I came here, Lang's current attire+sig combo made me revel back into my old mangroupie-ish ways fawning over such things....AND NOT LETTING ME POST!

but after several attempts, i figured a way to get you a message across, GASOC.

so here it goes:

Anonymous are domestic terrorists.

OH s**t AD, HIDE IC OR IN TWO YEARS FOX NEWS WILL SAY GASOC ARE DOMESTIC TERRORISTS TOO!

Gah, they've infiltrated the news!
The fact that he says "LULZ" out loud made me laugh.
What the hell is wrong with people? gonk

Aydee: Wow, that's a nice stash.
I would feel bad taking any of it for myself, since I remember not being able to take part in the auction. gonk I like Nyome's idea of splitting it up. I like the idea of GASOC art too. I'm sure there's a way to swing it and make sure everybody gets a little something, a little bit of gold if not some art. (For the active members, at least.)

I'll wait for a few more opinions on the leftover wealth thing, then attempt to make a decision.

Lang - How's the working life?

Gaia fundraising now seems to ridiculous to me. Gold? Pssh. Talk to me when I can use Gaia gold on my car payment.

Shiro - ROFL! Something terrible is happening to the world, but I can't quite put my finger on what it is.

We...aren't...terrorists, then? (btw - IC is quite hidden. But are you aware that your IC Windows logon screens made it onto some Chinese website? www.pcjdesktop.cn/view.asp?id=5300 )

axel - What amuses me even more is the fact that I have letters from '03...and can't be bothered enough to do anything with them.

If the gold ends up being split up between guild member I don't need nor want a share. I don't have any real need for it since I buy a new outfit maybe once every 2-3 months. So it would be wasted one me since I only want one gaia item now. (which is a tad out of reach) So yeah I don't need anything from it.

I don't think I need to reply to anything really so I'm going to go to sleep. razz

Memai: Good luck at college. crying I'm actually scared about going to orientation itself..
But I spoil myself with make-up too.. I LOVE the MAC counter.. xD

AD: Yeah... everything sort of went downhill after the 4th book. You're not missing out. D: Psh. I dislike Ginny Weasley a LOT. Such a terrible character. Makes me dislike redhead girls. >.> I can't imagine a girl with freckles and red hair being attractive, especially with how she looked in the movie. No offense. D:

BLAH. Poorly written fanfiction describes it SO WELL. Really, the Epilogue made me cry. "All is well." <.<

But but, I still loved overpriced Starbucks. Oh, and boba milk tea as well.. *asian*

But.. I don't know what to do with that wealth you mentioned. D: I personal don't think I'm as active as the rest of you guys so you can leave me out if you want. I don't mind. ^^ I wasn't part of that auction either anyways.. surprised

Axel: Thanks. x3
Blah fangirling over Harry Potter = sickening. crying

Hoshi: Sounds so fun. I love birthday parties on a beach. Like this bonfire I went to on Thursday... xD I've never had a coconut drink to be honest. O_O I have a personal love for strawberry lemonade though. xD I order it almost everytime at a restaurant...

Nyo: Maaaaaah, I'm so scared. xD;; I'm not going away so far.. but it'll be far enough from the comforts of home.. I hope I make friends... D: Guys happen to be frightened or intimidated by me. D: I wonder why.. D: I don't give them a reason to be.. at least.. I hope not.. O_O

Yeah, I like the slow pace of summer too.. it's much better than that craziness I went through during the school year.. hopefully college won't be as face paced either..

Lang: You'll always be safe with us. xD *shot* Seriously, people don't know when to stop with too much of one thing. I mean, it was great the first few times.. and got old after that...

Shiro: SHIRO!!! I missed you. D: HAHAH. I can't believe LULZ got on the news. They're taking over IRL too I guess. O_O Hahahah, it'd be hilarious if they took over the world.. actually.. not.. D:

Akahoshi - Duly noted.

Darkish - I saw a lot of fake HP spoilers around the net before the book came out, and I thought several were plausible, but when I saw "All was well," I thought, "Pffft. Even Rowling isn't THAT lame." sweatdrop

Great. I'm thiiiiiis close to giving it away to noobz...

And try not to be scared of the whole college thing. Most college students are idiots, in my experience. Most of the professors, too. They're easily managed.

AD - I am totally with you on shark week, I didn't even realize it was shark week till yesterday with I flipped to Discovery and there was blood stained toothy mouth starring at me. Now if only someone would play Jaws.

Don't give stuff to noobz, at least give it to someone that meets G.A.S.O.C standards. Plus we give a noob stuff and they'll come looking for more.

Darkish - Coconuts make the perfect drink glass they hold just enough, and they float in the water. Not to mention no one ever thinks it contains booze.

College is easy nothing to be scared of, really it's just high school with more people.

Is anyone else addicted to the FX lineup this season? Damages and Burn Notice = awesome.

Akahoshi - My brother and I grew up on Shark Week. He, my father and I would all gather 'round the TV and refuse to move until someone or something had been torn to shreds by a great white.

True. No noobz. They're like ugly, rabid strays.

I have to disagree with you on the college/high school thing. At least in high school, you could go home and get away from it all. If you live at college, there's nowhere to escape to. Hence why I was a commuter for 4 years. That, and I could never live with geeks. While visiting one of my buddies at his suite, his suitemate pulled out a ton of Rubik's Cubes and shouted "RUBIK'S CUBE BATTLE!!!!" and they all just sat down and started solving them while I sneaked out the door to freedom.

I don't get FX since I'm Canadian and that is not anywhere in the canada cable stations.

Shark week is the best you get to here the best stories, like "I just wanted to pet the shark and out of nowhere it bite off my arm. I was shocked." Stupid people in the water nothing better.

Well maybe my college experience was more high school 'ish. I always manage to get away normally to the library since for some reason it was normally empty except for people studying. (Drinking was big at my college actually graduating not so much. Much like high school) I had one year dorm life and the rest my own place since is was cheaper. Also maybe because 40% of my high school went there never helped.

Also I've been in some Rubik's cube battles, kinda fun until the start getting thrown.

In honor of Shark Week I bring you this!
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.
Brought to you by Junji Ito and his wonderfully perverse mind.

Aydee: Holy schnikes. xD I've got a few 04 letters I'm far too lazy to sell as well. Gaia lost its economy appeal to me a long time ago.

Ahaha I wish we had Rubik's Cube battles at school. I don't think I've ever solved one of those before.

Oh yes! I finally finished Deathly Hallows.
...... ;/
I am pleased to find out that I didn't spoil it for myself, though.
Moving on-
(Although I have to say every time I read a "Rowlism" I thought of Aydee's eel. xD)

Also, I hope nobody or their family members happened to be in Minneapolis when the bridge collapsed-
Part of that highway runs right near my house down here in MO. gonk

Akahoshi - That's too bad. FX has a lot of good stuff. A lot of good stuff that's promptly slapped on IsoHunt, no less.

It's amazing how flailing around in the water like an overactive hamburger will get you bitten.

Psh. Violence is the best part of any battle. My college buddies had something called "high-contact pool," in which two of them would play pool while two others tossed a football back and forth, occasionally smacking one of the pool players in the head. Lots of fun.

axel - ROFLcopterSHARK!! That's so great! xd Have you ever heard of SNL's land shark? I guess it was a huge thing back in the early days of SNL. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J65yRvN8DPs

The only things I ever wanted from Gaia were wings and a katana, since I'm fantastically into cliches like that. Now that I have them, nothing else really interests me.

Rowling has done the world the dubious favor of teaching people that comparing things to other, incredibly stupid things is creative thinking. Bzuh. So done with this rant. I need to find something new to complain about.

I saw that on the news and nearly choked on my tea! It's positively incredible. I also hope that no one here had the misfortune of being caught in that.

EDIT: At the risk of sounding like the jerk that I am, I really can't stand it when the media refers to anyone who did not die as a "survivor." To me, one can only be a "survivor" if the dead vastly outweigh those who lived, and if those who lived did so under extreme circumstances. Like survivors of a plague, or survivors of a death camp. You know: against all odds, against likelihood and circumstance and misfortune -- they survived. When only 4/200 die (estimate), it does not create 196 "survivors." Although, technically, it does. I'm just picky.

Just had an interview for a job now a big job, really on a 2 month contract job. But it better than nothing and it could lead to a real job. Plus it's an easy job, I look at problem tickets and either move them to someone else. Yeah for mindless jobs.

axel - I needs me a land shark, then I'll command respect as I ride atop it.

AD - I'll have to look in to some of the shows on FX I'm sure I'll find something I like.

My version of high-contact pool was always just the oh so funny, balls and cues hitting those that got to close to the table. Then there was the one time fluke shot the hit a ball flew straight up and landing on the lamp above the table and managed not to break it.

The only thing on Gaia I want is an OMG hat, I had one and gave it away when I quite because I had no plans on coming back. But now I miss it and the price on those things is crazy.

The bridge thing was weird I can never understand the concept of bridges falling, since you'd think someone would notice the bad shape of the bridge before it falls. Also something I found strange was the stopped searching ant night and started up again in the morning. Why stop get a new crew and some lights. And yes I also share in the hope that no one here had anything happened to them/family/friends.

Edit: I got the job. xd

    Like, I died XD But I'm alive! It's just been a week at Uni and everything's going great so far; I'm taking the time to say this right now before they start dumping work on us XD;;

    Anyway, my Uni's pretty damn rockin' whee They have Copics/Prismacolor Markers for like... half the price you get at regular art supply shops XD I tend to buy a little a day, hopefully I'll have a decent range of colours by the end of the month. OH AND GOD! I've never heard of a uni where there's a hair salon right near the classes. It's no wonder half the girlies looked great on past proms XD;

Bah, I don't wanna live on campus. I mean, the dorms they got are great, but I like my room and I'd rather have it to myself, instead of having to share space with a person I'll eventually end up hating. That, and I've had a tendency to have lesbians hit on me X_O; asdjkl...

I feel bad for asking, but does anyone have a copy of Reveille's "Bleed the]Sky" album? I can't even find it on torrent. sweatdrop Akahoshi pwns.

Akahoshi - One time my college friend jumped the cue ball right off the table and into some guy's solar plexus. God, that was fantastic.

ninja

Congratulations!!! Go kick some IT a**.

ZombieMemai - I'm glad you're doing well so far! Any school that sells Prismacolors at half price is a damn good place to be.

If you don't want people hitting on you, you have to stop being so hit-on-able. heart
