TeaAndCakes stardove3 King Of Ninjas Crazy_Turtle55 True true. Well, a fish update. I decided not to name one Wash and Zoe ^^ Thanks for letting me know about that! The fish gave birth but they all died because someone -coughstupidpeople- put some chemicals into the water...so all the fish died. Let's just hope that are characters don't meet that sticky end. sweatdrop Aww that sucks! Sorry aboot your fishies Well, Wash and Book already have... -tears up- The fishies... Indeed. Poor fishies.

Ah Zoe, the amazon goddess among mortals.
A friend of mine has pointed out she's always wearing that leather strap around her neck, when I get to the next flashback (as i'm re-watching the series tonight) I'm planning to keep an eye out for it to see if she had it before she met wash, it's just a theory.
As for a baby...I dunno that I like the idea of her going into combat with a child, I could foresee it being like Angel where after the babys on board while mommy goes off to work the baby stays with someone with at least an ounce of maternal sense, I.E Kay...or possibley River.
And as the child grows with the schooling in badassery no doubt granted by living with a ship full of badasses.
If it were a girl I could see it developing a little girl crush on Jayne, freaking him out and causeing Zoe to glare at him often.
If it were a boy I think it should crush on Kay, fallowing her around like a puppy.
Wash was right about one thing though, "Have you ever been with a warrior woman? Fuhghedaboutit."

Actually she does wear it in the flashback in Out of Gas, but I'm not sure about the war scenes.

I think it'd be interesting to see how a child would be reared on a ship like that. It'd give us better understanding of Zoe, cuz she grew up on a ship kind of like Serenity.

King Of Ninjas Actually she does wear it in the flashback in Out of Gas, but I'm not sure about the war scenes. I just listened to the commentary on "Shindig" where the costume designer said that the strap is a symbol of her marrige to Wash (As was my theory) but if such is the case her wearing it in the flashbacks screws that up a bit. I shall re-watch for confirmation.

It's meant to be like a wedding confirmation, but Gina Torez was probably so used to wearing it that she forgot to take it off

Gina just forgot to take the necklace off. She's just used to wearing it.
i guess for Zoe, it's like a ring - because I really can't see Zoe wearing a wedding ring, but that leather necklace looks great on her.

Speculation: Origen of nickname - "Lamby-toes".
Option 1. Wash Made it up on the spot.
Option 2. Wash got kicked by a lamb once upon a time and it hurt.
Option 3. An old, old story involving a very drunk Wash.
Option 4. ...how should I know? That's why I asked for speculation!
