Shido waited to see if the black haired boy would run out of breath and calm down so he could speak, You sure talk a lot about food.. I wonder how you eat? Well i guess i could bring you to the cafeteria since your so eager to know and I'm getting pretty thirsty. Shido turned around and began to walk and turned his head a bit to look at the black hair boy. You coming or not? he said as he began his way to the cafeteria Exit to Caferteria

Echo arrived at Beacon and smiled a bit. "So I'm Finally here. This place is quite the accomplishment. I'm glad to have gotten here." Shouldering his Sniper/Railgun, Echo started to walk around a bit. He was Given a scroll after getting off the ship. It would tell him when he would get assigned to a team. It wasn't long before his scroll lit up, but not for the reason he hoped for. His father left a message for him.
"Hope you made it Beacon without delay. Your mother and I are proud of you. Let me know how Reaver Performs. I'm sure you'll know how to fix any bugs in the electromagnetic loading system. You designed her after. Anyway enjoy yourself son and have fun. Give my Regards to Professor Ozpin for me."
Echo sighed and went back to walking around the front of the school. With so many student around, it was hard to think or know what to do first. The last thing he wanted to do was see Ozpin however. Bringing up his family's line of work was something he avoided.
--edit--
Echo's scroll lit up for a second time. He growled at the thought of it being his father again. Looking down at the message a smile came to his face. He was on Team DECD and they were ready for combat. "Lets do this. Well Reaver, lets go make a show ." Echo ran off towards the Forest to meet up with his Team.
Stepping off the airship, Laram's nose was assaulted by the sea air of the port. He had assumed that the air would have been so salty, but he hadn't fully prepared himself for it. Taking a few shallow breaths at the pier, he quickly assimilated himself and eyed his surroundings. It was to be expected of a sea and air port. People busily scurrying around, sailors and pilots getting their respective ships ready for launch; all of it seemed to brim with purpose. Living the land-locked life he had, Laram had never seen a port before. It was a fascinating experience, but he didn't have time for sightseeing. His application to Beacon being approved, Laram had to find the academy. It was his first day after all, he didn't want to be late. Shifting the weight of the shield on his back, he descended the walkway and took his first steps in the new city. He was positively brimming with anticipation, or perhaps it was the tacos he had eaten on the flight. Letting out a small burp, he chuckled to himself before adorning his serious face again.
I should ask someone for directions, but everyone around here looks too busy to help. Maybe I'll find a restaurant or some.....He saw the telltale peaks of Beacon Academy in the backdrop of the city. It was a distance away, but nothing unbearable. He removed his weapon from his side and secured it on his back with his shield. He was going to do some running and jumping, and he didn't want it slapping his leg the entire way. He spotted his first climb and bolted towards it, leaping over the head of an unsuspecting pedestrian. Their shocked clamor and following curse words made the hunter-to-be, grin to himself. He shouted his apologies without slowing down and scaled the building in front of him. Continuing on in this manner, it wasn't long before Beacon came into full view. Landing gingerly on the ground below him, he walked towards the large structure, catching his breath. He had no idea what was in store for him, but he was certainly ready to find out.
But everyone will remember my name for eternity.

Weapons and Equipment
Thorn's Lament is a long sword with two automatic pistols as the crossguard. These can be removed and used like a regular gun. Laram keeps extra, thirty three round magazines on him for when his regular clips run out. He only uses these magazines when the guns are detached, as the extra long magazines interfere with the balance of the weapon. The pistols shoot .40 caliber dust bullets.
Laram's shield is made of a very sturdy material that let's it stand up to all kinds of abuse. This thing can take a grenade and come out with minor scratches.
Semblances
Violent Burst: Laram is able to project his aura out of his body in a more violent way than most people. By building up his aura in a specific body part, and then forcefully releasing the energy all at once; he is able to create a small explosion akin to a grenade. However, this technique is not without its' drawbacks. Because of the sheer amount of energy required to do this technique, it is very tiring on the user. Also, it has no long range capabilities; due to how the technique is utilized. Laram can only keep this style of fighting up, continuously, for around five minutes. Depending on how aggressively he fights, that time can be shortened as well. On top of that, this technique is murder on the hands. Continuous explosions can do that to a person. Depending on the intensity of the blast, Laram's hands can get damage from burns to full blown broken fingers if he isn't careful.
Quiet Serenity: By projecting his aura about his body, Laram is able to heal minor injuries much quicker than normal. This requires the utmost concentration and Laram cannot be disturbed during the process. He must remain completely still while he does this, so it cannot be utilized during combat. There is also a limit to what he can do. Since this ability has to do with giving energy to the body to repair itself; it cannot cure diseases or illnesses. It can only be used to repair damage done to the body. This isn't an instantaneous process either. It takes minutes to heal cuts, and can take hours to repair harsher damage. However, with great effort he can heal other people as well. Depending on the extent of the injuries, Laram becomes exhausted while using this ability. As you can imagine, projecting your aura in such a manner take a lot out of you.

Cora breathed the air and walked quietly, feeling like she was in a thoughtful daze. It seemed like a lot had happened. She was a little shaken at the thought of being that close to being in trouble. She never liked being scolded.... Then again, she knew that she only had herself to blame for that. What had she been doing out in the middle of the woods? How had she managed to get so far from Beacon and Vale? Had she unconsciously wanted to walk to the forest again?
She shook her head in some attempt to clear it, but this effort wasn't as successful as she would have hoped. She had no immediate conclusion or answer for the feelings that had drug her heart down. At least no one was hurt... though it easily could have been that way, and she knew this far too well. She set her hands into her pockets and numbly walked along the road, this time being sure to keep her feet solidly on the stone instead of letting her feet venture to the grass.

Danny let out a sigh as his hooves clacked against the ground, not exactly enjoying the fact that he was scolded. Then again, he was lucky to still be a student here after that. He needed to distract himself from this, or he'd be all bummed out for the rest of the day. Spotting a familiar face...again, Danny smiled.
"Hey, Cora!" He called. He didn't think he'd run into her so quickly after the incident in the forest, but running into a friend was always a good thing. Well, unless he literally ran into them. A 400 something pound horse man could certainly break a few bones if he ran into someone.

Cora paused and turned around, seeing Danny approach relatively quickly. They had come from the same heliopad, so it wasn't too surprising that he had seen her, though she would admit that she did not expect him to acknowledge her or rush up to her. She tilted her head and lifted her arm to wave, not sure what to say at this particular point. They had kind of gotten in trouble, hadn't they? Nevertheless, he seemed cheery. He didn't seem to let many things hold him back.
"Hey Danny." She greeted and lowered her arm back to her side again. "Feeling alright?"

His sweat beat down his shirt and as he ran along his a fellow student Harthwin smiled. He and the female student spoke about their first day here at Beacon academy, their sibling and their test in the forest. He and the female student were not the only students to think of taking a run on the main avenue but they were the only ones to be doing the run together. All in all Harthwin was having a good time with the female student when his eyes then stumbled upon a familier face just down the road. "Hey, I'm gonna call it quits.""Really? Already?""If I had started as late as you did I'd be on full battery too." Harthwin teased. "Well If I was as strong as you that excuse wouldn't be exceptional."
"Yeah, sure. So, we still on for tomorrow morning?""Can't do it. I've got to catch up on some homework for Grimm studies class.""Now who's the one making up excuses?" The female student simply rolled her eyes at Harthwin she said good bye and broke away from him; running up ahead on her own work out. Harthwin continued to run until he calmly slowed to a stop near that familiar face. "Cora! What's up!"
As soon as Harthwin opened his mouth he then heard another guys voice almost mimicking him perfectly. If the males voice were to call "jinx" Harthwin would have been one soda pop in debt. Nearing Cora Harthwin spotted a male horse Faunus. "Sup stranger!" Harthwin happily pinged at the horse Faunus since he obviously knows Cora and would be way rude of him not to say hi. Besides, Harthwin could always use more friends at the Beacon academy.

Cora's shy smile still lingered as she greeted Harthwin, who she didn't know was in the area until he had swung their direction and greeted them. She was flattered that she was recognized, as it seemed like it had been a while since they had talked last. Oh... that was right. The last time they spoke was the welcoming ball and dance. That thought warmed her face considerably, but she tried to keep it level by remembering that all was well. Friends were good company, right?
Right!
"Not much. My team and I just got back from a walk...." She bashfully rubbed the back of her head, not quite sure how else to explain what happened. That sounded about right... At least, Cora had started with a walk, ended up kind of deep and almost lost in a forest, and then they were brought back by a faculty member.
(Sorry for the picture confusion. This is battle-gear. The picture wasn't working when I was posting back in the snowy forest and I hadn't changed it back until now. ^^')

"That's interesting." Harthwin said with some pep woven in-between his breathing. He must have run longer than he thought. "I recall you not having a team we last met. I hope relations have gone well. I know mine haven't been the most...preferable." Harthwin admitted. "Have you gone out on your first mission with your team yet? Harthwin asked with a more stable pace of breathing. The warmth worked up from the workout was still steaming him up and in attempts of cooling down the island boy fluffed his shirt to let in air rapidly; with the plan slowly working.

Cora's arms returned to her sides again, or might have momentarily before her right had became distracted with the thick bronze arm-guard that she wore on her left arm. "Yes, I have a team. There was a little bit of confusion with our first mission... I don't know where two of the students went in that one... and then I was reassigned to my new team with Danny here, Iris Kenmasutā, and Rose Valentine."
She shrugged a little bit. It was nice to have a team, but she couldn't explain what happened the first round. She felt that something went wrong and the teachers pulled them out. It was strange that contact had been lost with their flying companion as well as with the tigress. Cora still worried about them, but there wasn't much she could do about it, knowing as little as she did.
Though, as she spoke the names of her team-mates, she remembered anew that Iris was Harthwin's sibling. He had mentioned her when they danced, that Cora remembered, and she thought she heard Iris speak of her brother... though, the last name was definitely a big clue even if they didn't speak of each other. It was not a common name.

Harthwin always thought Cora was always the shy sort and it was kinda cute on her; he though. They way she seemed so brave with her actions yet so reserved with her words bewildered the island boy; in a good way. "You were placed in multiple teams too, eh? I guess that makes us some misfits." Harthwin playfully teased Cora, wondering what her reaction to that might be. Would she be quick to whip back? Would she change subject? Even though He wanted to know about her quirks he also just wanted to catch up with his friend; and maybe hear a little about how his baby sister is doing too.

Cora smiled at what seemed to be a joke from Harthwin. Sure, one could think of it that way. They could be considered misfits... Or... "Perhaps. On the other hand, we could just be too legit to let quit."
She shrugged. Everyone was different, and the individuals she met so far were all unique in one way or the other. Not very many of them could be safely classified as normal in the first place. Were they all misfits? And if this was true, the school must be a school of misfits. They don't fit anywhere else. They must belong here. She smiled at that thought, though she wasn't sure how to effectively express it.

Harthwin's brow raised with much surprise. He wasn't expecting something like that from Cora. Then again Harthwin didn't know what to expect in the first place. "Too legit to let quit...Yeah, that just rolls off the tongue." Harthwin nodded his head, diggin the response. "Hope you don't mind if I steel that from ya. So, hows is my baby sis Iris doing? Gotten to see some of her colors yet?" Harthwin knew that his sister says he could be dramatic but the older sibling was curious just how his little kin got along without him protecting her. The eternal bond of siblings, as one would say.

The wording wasn't the best, but if it was liked, anyone was free to use it. Steal away! Cora was satisfied with this and felt herself relax a bit, happy that the humor was recognized for what it was, as strangely as it left her mouth sometimes. Nevertheless, she had been asked about Iris, Harthwin's sister. Their armor was similar, which might have given them away also if one didn't know their last name.
"She's very brave," Cora admitted. She didn't seem to be that scared of the prospect of spiders in their first mission and the second didn't concern her much at all. As for true colors, Cora could neither confirm nor deny Harthwin's question. "She carries herself well in dangerous situations."
