hot topic isnt exactly racist, but they're really overrated. the shirts they sell like foamy and squee, especially the foamy shirts, you could get from the actual foamy website for cheaper than ht sold it for, at least a year in advance of them coming out with it [if that makes sense]. And for all those jhonen vasquez fans from forever ago, its like blasphemy! all they have is really overpriced and while they may have some spiffy shoes, they're so expensive! i only go there to get the pants on clearance because i dont really like pants i've seen elsewhere and i'm not willing to pay $50 for them new, i'll wait until they're down to $18. but i'm a dork.
thats my reason for hating hot topic.

Very true. I haven't bought any clothes from them until they go on clearance. Then I can afford it.....but after that, I can't really. Like I said, I can make half the stuff they sell anyways...
