I, too, am currently obsessed with zOMG. So if anyone should see me around, feel free to save me from the n00bz. I'll be the one making snarky comments with correct punctuation.

You mean you actually use the chat interface?
I just glare at everything. Or... you know, point my avatar in n00b direction and imagine that it's glaring.
Right.

The chat feature is somewhat unavoidable for forming crews to beat up on bosses. I say as little as possible and try to ignore the CAPSLOCK OMG.
I've developed this unpleasantly voyeuristic habit of hanging around grouping locations in order to watch everyone crew up. This typically involves a lot of shouting, misspelling, and general n00bizm.
The standard recruitment for the OMGWTF quest (I'm in no way making that up) is as follows:
~SephirothR0xx0RZ~ : ne1 for OMG *omgfairysparklepie* : lol wut ~SephirothR0xx0RZ~ : OMGWTF *omgfairysparklepie* : lol no looking for teh cow NinjaBoyNekoWizard5: i need crewz! ~SephirothR0xx0RZ~ : need crew for OMGWTF NinjaBoyNekoWizard5: CREW ME!!1 sakurasakura432: yur lyke CL 1.2 lul NinjaBoyNekoWizard5: crew me, plz ~SephirothR0xx0RZ~ : OMGWTF, type 555 sakurasakura432: 555 i hve defib NinjaBoyNekoWizard5: 555!! sakurasakura432: not you noobz go kill gnomes ~SephirothR0xx0RZ~ : need more crew
Repeat for about five minutes, after which invites start going out randomly, 4 or 5 people actually accept, and they scamper off to the slaughter. Then the next group arrives.
I hide in the trees.

Ow. That is some sick entertainment.
But yeah, forming a crew is probably wise for big missions. I wish there were a way to avoid it. Damn forced community togetherness. Pft.
My common activity is just orb collecting. POWER UPZ PLS. Usually in places void of other players, and filled with gnomes. Until it gets overrun with idiots, then I flee and go elsewhere.

zOMG needs some kind of time limit on it. Like booting me off after an hour or three.
...ugh.

I'm hooked on OMG too D: stupid Gaia. I have so much money and since I didn't know what to do with so much gold I kept artificially inflating low-end rings because I kept buying them to salvage them for orbs.
I've spent too much time in there. The worst part is that I don't feel bad about it at all. I'm a lone wolf though, only making crews for big stuff and then logging off after I get my loot. Because that's how I roll.
To feel good about being such a selfish b*****d, and when I'm really bored, I'll take a couple of n00bs with me on a crew so they can watch me kill OMGWTF and praise me. It feels good and sometimes they even send me gifts for being so "nice".
I saw AD on zOMG the other day, I felt so happy biggrin and wanted to help out because she's helped me a lot; don't take it the wrong way woman! <3 I don't show off my superpowers to people on my friendlist. xD
===
I crashed my car so I'm at home 24/7, thus the zOMG 24/7 wtf. Been drawing like a starving artist though biggrin what about you people?
Oh, and GASOC special, only until Dec 31. If you're a member of GASOC who I like and talked to, you get a free ring! ANY biggrin just post here which one you want and I'll send it as a gift. Really, I don't know what else to do with my millions D: I pick the ring CL though.

AD - Lol a time limit. Wouldn't that be nice? Maybe a n00b limit, too.
Ryuu - It figures you'd emerge from the shadows when zOMG is released. razz It's like some beacon to gaian's who've previously lost interest in coming here. (Or being anything but a lurker) Anyway, glad to hear you're lone wolfing it, too. Fight the power, man! Don't conform!! XD
Good to hear from you, though. And good to hear you're alive. What do you think you're doing, crashing you car like that? confused Tch, you could've been hurt or something.

I'm alive, really!
I've just been uber busy. Moved. Moved again. And I have a car now and drive legally. I love my Jeep. '99 Jeep Cherokee four door sport, V6 engine, and only one previous owner who took DAMN good care of her. Only she's bitchy in her own SPECIAL way. She doesn't like other women. Any of my female friends try to get into the Jeep and the doors have issues unlocking. Men? Gay or straight, the doors work fine and she puuuuurrs~
She's the Red Baroness.
Only downside of new apartment is I don't have a connection of my own. I would have gotten one, but October was a bad month. (Like my Jeep's battery died, then I got a flat AND my spare was flat...heh.) So I haven't been able to get connected yet. However, my laptop has a bluetooth. Shhhhh...
Although I babysit my neice and nephew often and can get internets there. surprised (I mostly make sure they get on the bus, then hang out a little after.)
I've tried playing ZOMG but I'm stuck in the sewers and I don't know what to do to get out. xp I R A N00B. Doesn't help I lost connection in the middle of the first "mission", where she sends you off to take care of two peelungers and now I don't seem to have any other mission. Or I'm just that much of a n00b.
As for drawing, I've been waaaaay out of practice because of moving and all the supplies are still at the 'rents and I've debated leaving them there and try computer only. But I can't find the pen for the tablet. sweatdrop

Activity in GASOC? Most excellent.
Ryuu - whee It was so strange to bump into you. I just saw this blue dot on my map and decided to go check it out. I daresay you've been playing too much, though. Even I've been playing too much, and I'm levels and levels behind you.
Also: what happened to your car?! Are you all right, etc.?
Lang - Like the new sobriety filter for Google mail. "Solve this math problem before entering zOMG." Or, better: "Spell 'hello,' 'whatever,' and 'thank you' correctly before entering zOMG."
QA - Hi! whee You sound like you've been busy as all heck. Congrats on the Jeep, too. A lot of people don't understand how cars have personalities, but they so do.
You're stuck in the sewers? That's...fun. xd Check your mission log to see what you're supposed to be doing.

Hello, lovely ladies. heart QA - I'd LOVE to get on that Jeep biggrin AD - Your zOMG suggestions are of the utmost anti-n00b quality. I'd post them in their suggestion thread if I were you. -- I really wasn't looking forward to zOMG at all, but after I found myself without a car and staying all day long at home, [Usually I would go to the capital during the week crib-hopping through friend's houses] I discovered the game and got hooked. My usual on Gaia before that, was to log in to dress up and invest on Evolution Items. So yes, I've been playing only for about 2 weeks so far, but for long sessions each day. I've seen blue spots on the zOMG map a couple of times and always ventured to find out who is it, since there's no way of knowing yet unless you walk to them. The last person I'd expect was AD! biggrin but was the best friend list meet since I started. I've even been drawing zOMG fanart pirate which I'll post soon on my blog and my new devart accountAbout my car, it spin out of control after diverting my view for a second or two trying to look for money for the toll. It ended up backwards [facing traffic]on the safety fence in the middle of the expressway, thank goodness I didn't hit anyone, or that the police wasn't near; I was without a license [since 2006] xd and if the police would've come, I would've had to pay the safety fence lol. AND NOW WITH 200% MOAR PICS! I only got a pair of bruises, and a new 900 dollar debt since I have no insurance and my car is at the mechanic. But not everything is bad, I stopped chain-smoking and drive better :] It's really good and nice to see you guys still around too :] As you may know, Shiro has a special superpower for destroying computer hardware unintentionally and unknowingly after buying any PC/Laptop, so his is busted right now.

Yume - Busy doesn't cover it. So when I have days where people aren't fighting for my time or plans fall through, I don't know what to do with myself. sweatdrop My roommate finds my obsessive cleaning kinda funny, but it also makes her feel bad. Oops? For instance, she's hardly home, so she'll grab food and go, intending to do dishes when she gets back, but I'll already have them done.
Plus I've been going to lots of musicals! Saw "Legally Blonde" and my best friend just got us front row tickets to RENT. AND WE GET TO SEE ADAM PASCAL AND ANTHONY RAPP UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL. UNF.
My car. She is such a b***h. Heh. Doesn't help that my one friend, she tried opening the door just as I hit the unlock button, so now it's stuck somewhere between. stressed I can't get it open!
As for zOMG, I have checked the mission list, and it says they're all completed and nothing's new. I'm tempted to try it again under my other account, and just call this one a lost cause. I'm always the one to find random glitches. Like in Kingdom Hearts? I got Aladdin stuck in a wall. sweatdrop
Ryuu - Hiiiiii! And my Jeep would love to have you. Fair warning, she's also picky about music. Prefers rock and roll. Doesn't care for too much pop or the speakers will cut out. ZZtop is her FAV.
And your car? Holy crap! Glad you're okay. *hugs* BUT THAT'S A REALLY NICE CAR HOW COULD YOU HURT THE POOR THING? *pets*
I shouldn't talk. Nearly flipped my Jeep when a guy pissed me off by cutting me off repeatedly so when I got to turn away from him, I turned too sharp. gonk

AD - Yes! Exactly like that. Maybe something like "Defib____ ? - complete this word."
DEFIBARLATE MI PLS!!!!!
No.
RyOO - Oh my christ, your poor car. Glad you're okay, though. And that you managed to escape from the law. lol
QA - Good to see you back in action. Busy is usually a good thing, though.
Regarding your Cherokee, I've had similar problems with the auto-locks (and power-windows) with my old one, too. It was a 2000 Grand Cherokee. From 1999 - 2001, I think they had some unsorted bugs with a few of their cars.
For the lock issue, have you tried holding the lever open and playing with the auto-lock switch on the doors?
That worked for mine the first two times. <3 The third time, I had to take it to Chrysler/Jeep to fix. >_>
Anyway. lol...
