FriendlyFangirl88 Yes, but why settle for something so unintersting when there's a whole bunch of intersting possabilities. Very true.

Lamb toes...hmm...
I'd either go with the drunken Wash or Wash was being silly. Maybe...Wash has a soft spot for lambs like he has a soft spot for Zoe...
It's love...

Bwaa; (buh-wah) - verb: 1.Striking fear into the hearts of men. Zoe's adorable. whee And oddly enough, I got her on june 23rd (Serenity Day/Joss Whedon's birthday) so her birthday is that day in my mind! 4laugh She's a Serenkitty!

I remember when you got her... what a doll!
And, I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I'd rather Zoe not be pregnant in the next movie. Having already had the child would be one thing, but if she's pregnant the writers might keep her out of most of the action and that would just be strange.

Bwaa; (buh-wah) - verb: 1.Striking fear into the hearts of men. Hmm... that is true. But who knows? Zoe's not the type to sit idly by, but she wouldn't want to endanger her child either...

Precisely, so it just makes it an unnecessary pickle in a ~2 hour movie.
A small child can also be kidnapped and otherwise threatened in ways a little one still safe in Mom can't, should the writers feel inclined to add to the crew's difficulties (and, when do they not?). So, my vote is that Zoe and Wash did have a kid but he/she has already been born.

Zoe can just train her child to kick alliance butt! (Like River, but with more guns and less mind manipulation).
Does anyone else find Zoe and Wash's conversation in Train Job really bothering once you know the fate of Wash? (goes to cry in corner)

I realized when just now, when I was posting in the Introduction thread and came to the fave char question, that Zoe wasn't really coming up in my mind.
Not because I dislike her, but nothing makes her pop out for me! I blame the cancelling of the show and the plethora of unfinished story lines.
I just wish we could've gotten to know more about Zoe, beyond the military. I feel like all I know of her is the empty shell left after the war. =/

I for get when he says it, but at some point, Wash says, "I like dangerous women, and I've got the best, Zoe could probably kill me hundreds of ways, and that's BEFORE you put the gun in her hand." That is NOT word for word at all, but whatever he says I know it can be translated to that and still mean the same thing.

Star_Lily I'm personally hoping for a Buffy-style resurrection. Then everything will be happy and shiny. Except for the digging-out-of-your-own-grave part... Wash would not be the same after that! Maybe we can skip that part and get straight to the singing...

Sapphrine Who thinks Zoe and Mal had a thing? Not so much. They just don't have the romantic thing going. There is not, and judging by (admitedly limited) flashbacks, never has been any sexual chemistry or tension between them. Just watch War Stories. That scene at the end says it all. As to the possibility of a pregnant Zoe, Wash-baby is one of the dearest held hopes of many a browncoat. I personaly would love to see it.
