Himeko was worried. Both her mate and sister were ill, and two of her children were out exploring the large and dangerous world. Her tail flicked idly as she tried to get her sister into the cooling waters, eyes watching her warily. Hollow was protesting, as always, and Himeko was slowly realizing that she did not have the time for this.
"Please, you are ill, just relax."
She had stayed. Why? Why had she stayed in Kemet? She didn't know anymore. Her fever was not as high as Kaname's, she was just fine! So why was her sister fretting so much?! She jerked away, glowering.
"I rather not."

Kaname raised an eyebrow at bit at his elder's behavior and then laughed happy that horus seemed to be out of his funk. Sure one could tell the nebula colored fox was still sad but he was recovering and that was the best thing. "Alright you'll have the herbs in no time" he stated watching as Horus nodded in approval and went to look for what had to be other members of the tribe.
Horus quickly spotted Raz and Jaci and noticed Jaci seemed to be coughing a bit. He would have Kaname give her the medicine before he sent the two of them out. Luckily Rynn was also in the area. "Hi everyone. I was wondering if I could borrow some of your time if you where up to it. We know that a sand storm is eventually going to hit and I was wondering if I could send raz out with Hollow to perhaps get some more food (meat) for the tribe. I'd like you rynn to go along with them just in case they need any help in carrying things back. Of course just leaving Jaci here with nothing to do would be bad as well so I was thinking you and Persephone could go and stock up a bit on our water supply?" he asked.
"Getting water that will be no problem" persephone stated having come in on the last part of the conversation. It was something to do and would get her mind off of things. "we are getting a little low in one of the temples. The pools are fine but I doubt we want to use that for drinking water" Persephone stated and looked down at her friend to see if she was going to come along as well.

Rynn entered the temple and cleaned herself off before heading to where she thought Kaname would be. He would know where Horus is. She walked in to find her elder and some other members of the tribe. “Well this saves time. Is there something I can do Horus?” Rynn coughed. She wanted a task. Just something to do so could forget her illness.

Fyra quirked an eye towards the 'Phim when he laughed. She hoped his coughing didn't start back up from it, but it was good to hear that sound again. Horus seemed better as he walked off to find the others, so the vixen went searching for her former charge.
It wouldn't take long to find him. Most likely with the herbs or mixing up something to help get rid of the sickness faster. Her skin gave a light quiver at the idea of herb hunting and a sand storm.

Jaci coughed again. "Sounds good to me. How much time we got before this thing hits?" Kemet was, essentially, in the middle of nowhere. Lots of room, but that also met a ton of space between important places. Normally not an issue since Jaci was quite fit, but today she didn't feel like running to keep up and her tiny legs weren't much of a match for a normal fox, let alone a Phim's like Sephy!
Raz frowned, but sighed and nodded. Hunting was part of his job after all, and while he considered Jaci his number one priority he was quite vigiliant with keeping up with the needs of the tribe. He might, if pressed, even say he enjoyed his time in the tribe even if he had never met Jaci. Besides, if there was anyone else he trusted enough to look out for Jaci is would have to be the dark blue Phim.
"I can leave right now," he said. "Hollow and I can probably get more done if we work on our own, anyway." They had the same, somewhat abrassive, personalities, and while they could get along if they had to it just seemed all-around easier to work separate. Their hunting styles differed as well, since Rax had to take down stuff more his size, and he was pretty sure Hollow felt like the permakit held her back at times.

Horus titled his head to the side and went a bit spaced out obviously not talkign with anyone visible at the moment. eventually he snapped out of it and looked back at Jaci. "well I would say a few days. Maybe around four" He stated. "hmm alright I'll go relay the message to hollow then. ah rynn yes actually I was going to have you go with our hunters but Raz said it would probably be better if they went by themselves so if Persephone thinks we are getting low on water may I ask you to go with the both of them. Normally I would send Marius but apparently Kaname already sent him out on a mission"
Persephone turned towards Jaci and rynn and nodded. "the more the merry right? or something like that" she stated nodding and turned around to go get something to carry the water jugs in. As soon as they found the water she could always fly back to get more jugs as those two refilled them.
Akori dodged out of the way as a little tremor ran through the room he was working with and sighed as the pot he had just placed up on the shelf fell to the ground. with a little whimper he looked down at all his hard work and with a sigh began working on it again this time finding a new jar as the previous one had fallen.

Rynn coughed and nodded at Horus then to the lightning phim. “Sure not a problem. I think stocking up on water would be a good idea.” She thought of the plants that she had moved inside to prevent them from being taken by the coming storm. “A lot of water will be needed since who knows how bad the storm will be.”

 Anubis looked around at the sands that surrounded him on all sides. He had no idea why the Dieties had sent him to this place, but he was determined to follow their orders. Someone or someones apparently needed a little extra help. Cresting a dune, Anubis noticed that there seemed to be many foxes in disarray and immediately realized that there was a tribe here and that was what he had been sent for.
Anubis studied the foxes below, most of them in seeming disarray, and wondered what was wrong. Stepping carefully to keep his balance on the shifting sands, Anubis made his way through the tribe, led unerringly to the elder. He was a small black fox with a nebulous hide and was talking to two other foxes, one a tiny permakit.
"Hello. I am Anubis." He said in greeting, making sure to include all three foxes in his introduction. "I was sent here to help you, what can I do to be of service?"

Horus paused in his talking and looked up a bit to see the dragon like figure and was speechless for a few seconds. Growing up in a tribe he knew about tribe guardians as Kemet had even had a few before but he wasnt expecting one for oh a while. Apparently the Modeities had other things in mind though. as for why he didnt think it was from another tribe well Mostly the jewelry and guardians didnt venture far from their original tribe. "Ah Hello Anubis. Its nice to meet you. I'm Horus." Now where to have him help. He supposed the girls had the water situation under control. Akori's group had the herbs and stuff under wraps. "you could help the hunters get food. I know that Raz is quite healthy but our other hunter has been under the weather as of late." he stated.

Looking around for a pot Rynn picked up a medium sized jar. It seemed emty. “This’ll work right?” Rynn wrapped her tail around the jug so she could balance it on her back and walk comfortable. The trip back with a full jug would not be as fun, but it would be necessary. Coughing again Rynn frowned. She wanted to get over this d*** illness as soon as possible. It was just annoying, worse than Robbin ever could hope to be. Why didn't he come visit more anyway. She was sick and having him here to take care of her would make her feel better. Well it's not like I need him, but it would be nice if he came. Stupid old fashioned fox. (she's grumpy when sick sweatdrop )  Ion headed toward the pyramids feeling uncertain and happy. She had yet to meet the other members of Akori’s tribe and that made her feel like she had butterflies bouncing about her stomach. Still she would be able to see Akori and meet his family which was a source of joy. Ion had a place a home and she was certain it would be an adventure. A shadow passed overhead and Ion looked up eyes wide to see a phim pass overhead. Ion swallowed and continued her trek to the tribe.  Twirling in the air Ritilanishia caught sight of a fox with a green coat below her. She assumed it was a tribe member and continued her flight toward the pyramids to meet her beloved. She remembered to keep an eye for the tribe elder since Persephone warned Rit that he might be the closest thing to an inquisition besides Persephone’s own family. Still Rit was certain she could handle it. After all if growing up amidst backstabbing politicians in her homeland and managing to make her House thrive couldn’t prepare her for meeting a tribe elder in the outerworld what could?

Jaci coughed, a thin, weak sound, then glared at all assembled foxes (particularly Raz) as though daring them to comment on it. "Sure thing. I'll keep an eye out for anything edible that might be buried in the mud, Rynn can help dig it out if she's with me." The tiny perma bounded off, following Rynn, a little miffled that all the jars were bigger than her; then again, what wasn't? Shoot, even that big bat-winged thingy walking up to Horus right now had paws about as big as her body! "Don't get eaten, Heru," she called back, jokingly, and began trotting off in the direction of their water source.
Raz leveled his customary half-glare at the newcomer. It wasn't something he could help; his black eye always seemed a bit narrowed while his blue looked more innocently-wide. It was an odd effect, and Raz did like disconcerting others on occasion. More to the point, there was another flapper he had to worry about landing on him or Jaci when they weren't paying attention. Though by now he was starting to trust Persephone to know where she was going.
Unable to bring himself to actually say something in greeting, his social skills a continuous work in project, Raz merely nodded a greeting at the giant who called himself Anubis. He did cast a glance at Horus. How was he supposed to hunt along with something 50 times his size in an effective manner?

"Horus. A pleasure to meet you." Anubis replied, nodding his head slightly. He watched the females go off to get water, smiling at the fiesty kit. He didn't think she was serious about him eating the tribe elder...well, leader would be a better word, since this one wasn't quite an elder yet. The coughing of both the females worried him, but he wasn't going to interfere until he knew everything that was going on. After all, they may have the sickness under control.
"Hunting? Yes, I can help out with that. Which of your hunters is Raz?" Anubis asked. He saw an odd kit, another perma if he didn't mistake himself. He returned the greeting the black and white kit sent him and wondered at the odd expression on his face. It seemed the modeities had sent him to an interesting tribe.

Fyra went to Akori's area and found him mixing some stuff. She cleared her throat, so not to surprise him and lose any more of the much needed herbs. "Do you have a container to carry the gathered herbs?"
She glanced down at the floor and realized that she got there roughly at the right time. "Horus sent me to help you out with gathering, but if you want to stay here. I can go out and get some on my own." Two gathering would be nice, but sometimes she got the feeling one is better.

Akori tilted his head to the side and thought about the question. 'a container huh?' "Yep I have a container. Um for herb gathering I would suggest...." Akori trailed off and quickly made an inventory of the things that had survived the last fall. He quickly spotted a pot with some straps to carry it safely on a top ledge and reached up and grabbed it. "Sure if you wouldnt mind. I have to take a break here and go meet out and meet my mate Ion but I can join you later. With the sand storm getting all the herbs before they are destroyed would be beneficial.
Horus frowned at his long time and shook his head. "I doubt the modeities sent a tribe guardian to eat me Jaci" He stated shaking his head. he then smiled back at the look Raz was giving them. Yes they would be rather unusual parters as raz was a perma and Anubis was slightly bigger than a daeva. "Ah that one right there is Raz" he stated pointing towards the male perma. Well it was better he just introduced the harder ones first right? Okay he did admit this probably wasnt his best decision.
Persephone looked at the container and nodded. "It should work no problems" Persephone stated. "The others are being sent out for herbs so Kaname will be able to make the medicine again. I would check in for that cough when we get back" Persephone stated making a mental note of which tribe members where still a sick. She looked over at where Jaci had disappeared and looked back up at the sky. Rit was supposed to show up soon but she didnt want to hold the others back too long.

Rynn smiled at Jaci’s enthusasium. She had to admit the little kit had spunk and was always fun to hang around. The overgrown lizard didn’t concern Rynn as she was certain her leader could handle himself just fine. After all Horus was their leader. He should darn well know how to handle a situation like this. Suppressing the ever irritating urge to cough again Rynn shook her head. Being sick just sucked. There was no other way to say it. A shadow passed above Rynn and she looked up and squinted. It was a phim.. and not Persephone. Rynn frowned and just kept walking. The others would handle it. She was tired, altogether miserable and didn’t want to deal with it right now.
Ion wriggled a bit shifting the plant that was in the sleeve of her coat. It was something she found out in the desert. It was probably useless but Ion had picked it up anyway. The poor thing was wilted and smashed up in the journey here. Still she couldn’t wait to show it to Akori. Up ahead was a large group of foxes.. and a huge lizard thing. Ion stopped and stared. She had almost been the dinner of a fox eating lizard that lived in the water of a river. She was not eager to step forward and repeat the experience. Prettified Ion could only stand there and hope it didn’t take notice of her.
Rit spotted purple and grinned. She changed the course of her flight to head straight toward her love and tovarish. Just thinking of Perspehone made her smile. “PERSEPHONE!!” The joy in Rit’s voice was tangible. It hadn’t been to long since the pair parted but it felt as though it had been ages. At least to Rit this was the case. Still she didn’t want to make a bad impression on all the other foxes that were in the area. Rit landed trying to kick up as little sand as possible.
