cowguy CaptJackIsBack cowguy CaptJackIsBack cowguy the flames had fulfiled their purpose, to act as some distraction. he charged out of the treeline, his eyes blank and unseing. he had a faint glow about him as he lifted his sword over his head leaving his torso wide open. Jack held his sword out in front of him, waiting for the man to reach him. he continued running straight at jack. he brought his sword down fast and hard. Jack's sword met the blade. Flames danced along both swords for a moment and then were gone. He bared his teeth as he braced against the impact. Once he had control, he removed one hand from the sword and shot a beam of white fire at Dusk's center. the sword was cut through. the "thing" droped to the ground as the beam hit, crumbling into chared papper fragment. a black pool seeped out of the remains, moving toward jack. it killed the grass and started to eat away at the ground. Jack stepped back, looking at the pool in disgust.

There he is, he thought. he shatered the glass in his fist and flung the contents over the field. "thats two gone..." the globlets hardened as they flew through the air forming ozens of razer sharp shards, lethal to most.

Suddenly there is a flash of light and Jack disappears.
