Brotan ignored all pleas for him to speak. He would not repeat himself. When all had arrived he cleared his throat. "In my absence we have lost some of our members. This is insulting, some creatures from some unknown parts come to our woods. Our hunting ground. Treat us like prey?"
Brotan waited, continuing "Are any of you prey? Would any of you roll over should you be assaulted?" Pause. "No? No. None of you would. Each of you would fight back with every inch of your body. Well, it just so turns out we have been assaulted. Time to respond with everything we can. I want those that are as outraged as I. Those willing to tear each and every last one of these creatures to pieces. To tear their putrid flesh from their bones..."
"Who will join me to show these creatures what happens when they think wolves are prey?" He never got loud, he was quite enough that everyone had to be completely silent to hear him. When he was done he stepped down and headed for the mountain range. He would attack the mountain alone should none follow, though he doubted that would happen.

Rhea laid down and somewhat tuned him out as he gave the little speech. Looking away at the forest, she gave a small sigh. Then she stood up and walked a few feet awat, "Well then, what are we waiting for? If it's something that big, then there should be a prize, right? Besides, you guys have me and I can be pretty useful for my... Talents." She told them and waited to get going.

Wolf merely nodded and hopped off his rock, addressing his own pack. You will not be blamed for avoiding danger. But know it is our land and pride at stake. You heard what he said. We must move. He turned towards the mountain and heaved a sigh. Chacho walked up to his side quietly and nodded to Rhea. The new family already stood in the face of conflict, now their ties would be tried.

((I FINALLY HAVE INTERNET AGAIN. god its been so long. ive moved three times in the last month or so, and i wasnt able to tell you. :/ im so sorry. anyway, im back smile )) ((i also dant remember exactly were we left off so...))
Wolf trotted back to the den, carrying a large buck in his jaws. As he drew closer, the smell of his denmates grew stronger. The first wolf he saw was Chacho, bounding over to him excitedly, tail high in the air and panting happily. Wolf snorted playfully at his sister and dropped his kill by her paws. The large buck was no problem for him to carry, but it was much larger than his little sister. Nevertheless, she grinned, dipped her head, and proceeded to drag the carcass back towards the den. Wolf loped ahead of her, coming to the small clearing in front of their den. He smelled Rhea and turned towards it. She was fast asleep just inside.

Brotan sat on the outskirts of camp, at one of the smaller fires. His back to the flame, on cold nights it felt good to feel the heat on his hairless flesh. This form bothered him, it itched. As if there was something just under the surface, waiting to get out. However he consumed far too much when staying in the form that felt more natural to him. His parents had both been wolves, as were their parents and so on. His lineage was older than was remembered, as all history of his people it was only remembered by word of mouth.
His 'human' form was weak, by his standards at least. If he were to attempt to enter the nearby city he would stand out, even were he to wear their clothing. He was a massive six foot four, massive chest, arms, and neck. There was nothing lithe about his form-- however he was deceivingly quick when needed.
He wore very little clothing, for his wolf blood ran hot for this body as it was. He wished he could simply let the beast out, but it would not be practical-- and he often lost track of what he was doing. He was on watch, Demons were acting up again-- and he would not have a repeat of ten years ago. The older he got the harder it was to keep the beast focused, and the harder it was to stop himself from changing.
He waited the night out, he was not to be in the hunting party in the following day so he took the entire night on watch. He would stay in human form till it was time for him to rest, when he would allow the beast come out. He would enjoy a run through the forests, chase a few creatures, than sleep soundly until he was needed.
