Trust me, it made a lot more sense in my head! I've got this entire thing fleshed out on how it cancels out magic.

On another note, think of all of our melee classes! Anti-magic hasn't been fully expanded on yet! It's still got a chance!

(P.S: What's a Veritas? I don't think I saw that anywhere)

Edit: I can make a whole class based off of melee and cancel-magic rather than melee and magic. I'll call them Judges.

Nothing, I just made a clan in NUR about a year ago; almost exactly like this, called the Veritas. They fought using words. You had a hard time lying to them, but they could always lie to you, and you wouldn't suspect much. Their speech was chakra-amplified.

And no, anti-magic has been expanded on a lot. xD Let's not expand on it as much as we've expanded upon anti-holy, where everyone and their mom can shred an unholy in one hit. I think Axiom shouldn't emphasize too much on any one classes/bloodlines weakness. Besides, why go anti-mage? Mage is just one class out of many.

Because I...was playing Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. I don't know if you've heard of it or played it, but there were these guys called Judges...their special ability was called "Laws." They could place Laws down on the battlefield to prevent certain tactics, like magic usage or certain weapon skills. If you broke a Law you got a yellow card. If you broke the Law again you got a red card and got sent to jail until somebody paid your bail. I was thinking "Hmm...Judges in Axiom? Yeeeeah...but how would I do that without making them overpowered? Oh, I got it! Limit them to taking away magical abilities and remove their melee abilties!"

[Demonic. Possessed. Feared. ]



xxxxxHISTORY
The Diabolus might as well be Nephilim, if their heritage was not for a slight deviation. While the Nephilim are those of the human race with ancestry created from the breeding of Angels and men alike the Diabolus evolved from the breeding of the Fallen Angels and men. This created a force of a being clearly more demonic than those of the Holy Nephilim.


xxxxxDESCRIPTION
Unlike those who contracted demonic diseases, such as the races of vampires and werewolves, these being are literally part human and part demon. The black blood of demons run through their body and taints there soul. This blood creates distinct, yet varying, characteristics within the holders of such a bloodline. Dependent upon the person their features may be different. These could range from various things such as: horns, fangs, claws, serpent-like tongues, pointed ears, a tail, and even a variation in skin tone - or all of them at once. However, the most noticeable feature is their eye color. Some maintain a deep red, which can be mistaken with a vampire, whilst others entire eyes are shrouded in black. These are merely physical attributes that make these demons stand out.
Being of such bloodlines these beings are stronger than your average being. Their strength being stronger that of a transformed lycan's, although their speed lacks the same for, in that area, they are but mere human beings. Their skin, as well, is supernaturally attuned with strength being essentially a slight armor. This is not the only thing that make these creatures so feared. Their deep, dark, demonic energy can be found in every attack thrown - even the physical. Their black blood is potent to vampires, as well as acidic. All around it is the darkness of their energy that make these being something to be feared, turning even simplest of attacks into dark, threatening ones.
The scary thing is what truly is constantly producing this dark energy. When first born the Diabolus are born with a demonic attachment. They are born already "possessed" by a demon. This demon is literally the true form - or spirit - of the being. Their body is but a host of the demon. It is when the body is destroyed that so is there soul. Although, at higher ranks, the Diabolus can literally call upon this demon and draw it out. It would seem as if there were two upon the battlefield but if one falls so does the other.




xxxxxSTRENGTHS
• Diabolus are capable of strength that would seemingly baffle most. (Str.9/Sp.5. Skin Is As Strong As Iron.)
• The Diabolus' attacks are naturally shrouded in dark energy. This includes the physical ones.
• "Black Blood" - Techniques will be based around this.
• Just as the Nephilim they are more durable than the natural human, but, more so even more durable than the Nephilim. Strikes by normal attacks will inflict less damage. Reducing the strength of the attack by a rank.
• Two Elements; One Must Be Fire



xxxxxWEAKNESS
• "Light"/Holy attacks deal significant damage to these beings. (+2Str. to any attack of such)
• Healing these beings is virtually impossible unless they know a form of healing themselves or another of their kind heals them.
• Loners. Refuse to fight alongside another. Even their own kind.
• Surprisingly not capable of Regeneration



xxxxxPASSIVE ABILITIES
The Hand of Satan E
Whenever an attack is successfully landed the energy of the Diabolus is transferred into the blow. This only harms those who can be harmed by dark energy, otherwise the attacks' original strength maintains the same. However, whatever magic is cast by the Diabolus grows a rank in strength due to the dark energy.

The Sight
Just like their counterpart the Diabolus can read the auras about them and see things for what they are. This allows them to pinpoint an opponent's energy level(rank), along with the ability to naturally see energy.

The Mark of the Devil
Each of the Diabolus bloodline maintains the "Mark of the Devil" which signifies their resemblance to their Satanic bloodline. These things are something which cannot simply be ignore and each little trait grants the Diabolus a little gift of a sort. It is a shame that they are born within no more or no less than two traits.
Claws/Talons - They fingernails maintain a fixed length of two inches. They are more like hardened, black, obsidian claws than fingernails and can tear through flesh like paper.
Fangs - Their canines, both top and bottom, are significantly noticeable to the point of which they protrude from the lip. These fangs maintain a certain gland which fills with the blood of the Diabolus and can spew it in a mass stream of acidic black blood to naturally defend.
Horns - To put it simply the horns are a strong asset and maintain an entire move set for their soul capabilities. The strength of the horns, upon birth, are equivalent to strength of a C-Ranked material. With each rank they grow til they cannot. (ex. Trainee=C, Novice=B, Adept=A, Expert=S, Master=SS, Sage=SSS)
Tail - Like the horns it is an asset which can maintain an entire skill-set to itself. It works on the same exact system as the Horns do except with speed. It has, essentially, a boost of +2spd. on its own attacks.




xxxxxTECHNIQUES
Generic Techniques (Non-Trait Specific)
Deception E
Though they have physical abnormalities the Diabolus take use of this very basic technique to mask both their spiritual signature and physical presence. This is to make them seem as ordinary as a human to all others.

Demon Guardian D+
This technique is meant to nullify an oncoming one. The Diabolus quickly blasts an aura of dark energy several inches beyond his body. The amount of energy put into the blast is equivalent to the rank of the Diabolus as well as the strength of the blast. So, if the Diabolus is S-Ranked it can null any technique S-Ranked and below for an S-Ranked cost. It can only be done timely. Five Post Cool Down

Hell's Ramparts C
At useful technique for offensive and defensive means. The Diabolus will load his energy, takes a post, and blast it out from his body. This, however, is a blast which results in a wide radius of demonic, black flames produced of dark energy. This results in a much stronger attack (B-Ranked Str.) and sends flames soaring out and about for five meters.

Trident of Lucifer B
The caster summons up massive amounts of dark energy into the palm of a raised hand. This spear is "thrown" at the opponent. It will zip through the air at some speed(+2) and with enormous strength(+2) as well. The thrown, spinning trident will create a vortex of energy about it strong enough to cut iron. Just it passing by is a hazard.

Devilish Temptation A
This is a hypnotic technique that can only be employed upon those three ranks in strength below the caster or two Ranks(ex.Trainee) below the caster. The Diabolus protrudes their snake-like tongue and begin to vibrate it at such a rate a high-pitched tune it created. The waves of this tune laced with the energy of the Diabolus. If the opponent takes heed to such a "ringing noise" within their ear they will become ensnared within the technique and has but a mere post to inflict a form of wound upon the Diabolus before they wish a command upon the opponent which they will see out. However, the Diabolus cannot move as they do this.

Devil's Advocate S
This is the true, demonic form of the Diabolus. As they enter this form the many different traits begin to appear all at once; a change in skin tone & eyes, horns, fangs, talons, even wings(for Speed orientated Classes). Depending upon the fighting profession(Class) the Diabolus either grow in size and mass and retrieve a reduction in speed(-1) and increase in strength(+3); or they can achieve wings. In return this grants them an increase in speed(+2) when using the wings for combat and a slight decrease in strength(-1).

Mark of the Beast SS
For those who have achieved the rank of Master such a technique becomes of access to them. Their form does something not expected. They become completely human. But, in doing so, they acquire a mark which resembles a triple six about the center of their forehead. The aura then creates form about them. I demonic, hellish form which seems no more than an aura but is actually solid. For it is there true demon that reveals itself, finally leaving the body a fighting. This fighting aura has set stats of 15/10 and can only be hurt by C-Ranked techniques. Lasts for ten posts.

Claws/Talons Techniques
Extension D
By adding energy to the form of their nails they can grow the length of their claws up to a foot within length of pure energy. This energy, however, does take a physical form and can chipped chunks of steel away. A few slashes at a three inch thick steel door and they'd be threw in no time.

Demonic Bacteria B
A technique in which the Diabolus can inject a near fatal bacteria through the flesh of an opponent. It is a slow acting one, and nearly unnoticeable up until the last moment. After six posts after the claws tore into the opponent's flesh he will begin to loss mobility in his limbs, each being a post. So, essentially, after a total of ten posts the entire body of the opponent will stiffen up to the point he becomes a (+/-)0 in speed. For each rank difference the deduction of speed will be affected. If you are a rank below their speed will reduce to 1Spd. and so on. If you are a rank above it will become a -1Spd. And so on.

Fang Techniques
Infected C
If they Diabolus latch onto their opponent with their fangs they can inject their own black blood into the blood stream of the opponent. After so long(three posts) the opponent will begin to feel the full affect of the technique and feel a decrease in mobility(-2Spd) and stamina(-2Str.).

A Snake's Venom C
The Diabolus will emit a stream of venom from the glands by their fangs and will shoot their acidic black blood at their opponent. This blood is actually strong enough to melt iron and slowly corrode steel.

Horn Techniques
Baphomet D
The Diabolus will feel their horns with energy. They will then, in any way shape or form, proceed to either ram their opponent or run them through with their horns. Upon doing so their is an eruption of energy which would send the one struck soaring back with various broken bones. Could break through brick walls and explode boulders without a problem.

Baphomet - Sent to Hell C
This move is a variation of the original Baphomet move. The user will use the initial ram or stab to lift their opponent up in the air. In stead of exploding the horns filled with energy utilizing that energy to keep the opponent locked in place. The user will then turn their head in any which way - may at a wall or the floor - and allow for the energy to then erupt with the option of the direction sent flying.

Baphomet - Disintegrate A
The user will utilize the skill Baphomet within a slight differently way once more. They will hook the opponent under the rib cage or beneath the arms and lift them. As they lift them the will begin to torch the opponent alive with their fire energy atop battering them into a wall or some form of obstacle.

Tail Techniques
Mark of Satan - Baphomet D
A brutal combo of an onslaught of slashes delivered by the tail. Like a blade whip the tail strikes the torso or back of the opponent. The tail then begins to embark upon a mass slashing that, when done, reveals the creation of an upside down Pentagram upon the body of the opponent.

Serpent's Grasp C
A simple, but useful, technique. The tails of the Diabolus will lash for. It will attempt to pierce the abdomen of the opponent. If successful it will pierce all the way through and wrap itself about the torso and draw the opponent force. The same can be done with a single limb.

Satan's Whip B
The tail will lash out in a lightning fast strike. The tail, however, is not of the main concern. As it whips it sends forth a blazing trail of black flames in the form of an oncoming blade toward the opponent. Strong enough to slice through a small centimeter of steel.



xxxxxADDITIONAL COMMENTS
These men, in reference to Greek Mythology, can be thought of as the Sons of Hades'. Beings that are not fully from Hell. But not fully men either.

• Can Only Be Gunslinger, Berzerker, Trickster, Shadow Knight, or Necromancer.

The Shades date back to the dawn of the City of Nocturne. Here they came into existence through a means even they are not fully aware of, but remained hidden, with their very existence that of a legend. As time went by, slowly the Shades revealed themselves, mainly as Assassins of incredible skill.

xxxxxDESCRIPTION

The shade is a being melded of the essence of shadow, and as such a shade borders the realm of death. Neither alive nor undead, a shade merely exists, calling upon ambient energy of the world to hold it's form. A shade doesn't have a Normal metabolism and doesn't need to eat in the traditional term, sleep, or breathe, nor does it age. Instead, a Shade Feeds off of shadows, using existing shadows to both heal any damage caused by Light or Fire based attacks, as well as restore their energy reserves. As Sentient shadows, shades are the ultimate assassins. One of the most remarkable things about Shades is that they can look like almost anything while always having glowing eyes, usually red, but blue and yellow are also common. They can seem humanoid or resemble animals, but a shade's shape is determined by their mind. they can distort and twist at times, but the overall shape of an individual shade stays the same for their entire life. Likewise, a shade's appearance is also affected by the individual's mental control. An insane shade is likely to look like a swirling cloud of matter, and a disciplined one has a well- defined shape with little blur around the edges



xxxxxRULES
• Purely Physical attacks will pass through a Shade, as it is simply a shadow in human form. However, energy formed attacks, such as elemental spells, and certain class skills will still damage as normally.
• Fire and light skills deals 1 rank higher damage.
• Clerics and paladins are your bane, as they cant heal you, and any attempt to do so will simply hurt you.
• Can't be a Berserker, Weapon Master, Paladin, Cleric or a Knight.



xxxxxWEAKNESSES
• Fire and Intense Light are toxic to you, exposure to either weakens your body, and directly contact with fire or a light attack launched at you can deal massive damage to your body.
• As a creature of shadow, the light, or holy skills used by a paladin or cleric can hurt you, rather than heal you.



xxxxxSTRENGTHS
• Immunity to pure physical attacks. Attacks that simple involve a strong punch with no energy around the fist literally go through the user.
• Massive boosts when in shadowy or Darkened areas.
• Thrive as Necromancers and Shadowknights (+1 Rank in strength for all skills of these classes)
• You do not age; you do not breath; you do not sleep.



xxxxxPASSIVE ABILITIES
Shadow Form
Most, if not all, physical attacks simply phase through the user. This can be a good and a bad thing. If all the opponent has all weapon and hand to hand styles, then the techniques that do not have energy coated on the weapons will simply go right through the user, making all other attacks useless. This is also bad because if the Shade attempts to attack, once can aim a physical attack at him, forcing him to turn himself into his shadowy form. By disrupting him, all of the skills he used are turned into smoke. The user may also chose to go into his incorporeal form once every three posts, at which point he can't attack.

Shadowy Trail
A Shade does not cast a shadow, but can choose to merge with the shadow of an ally, similar to a ninja. In doing so, the Shade can act as a hidden bodyguard, emerging from the allies shadow at will. The Shade can't be detected other than by holy creatures such as Nephilims, or Paladins and Clerics.



xxxxxTECHNIQUES

Rolling Shadows E-Rank
In case you want to close the distance between you and your enemy, you may turn yourself into a shadowy form and close the distance almost instantly, surely surprising the opponent. However, after the use of this skill, even if you are hit by a physical skill, you will not phase through it. Instead, you will take the damage.

Shadow Walk D-Rank
The shade can travel through the essence of shadow, pulling him through an entirely different dimension to instantaneously arrive at its destination. While in a shadowy area, the shade may teleport, with nothing more than a thought, to another shadowy area it sees within 120 ft of its current location. The Shade must have line of sight to the destination to use this ability. In battle, the shade is limited to 3 uses of this skill. There is no limit outside of battle, and is their main method of transportation. A shade can choose to pull another through with them, but doing so increases the cost by 1.5 times. The Shadowy area must be big enough to encompass the entirety of the Shade and cannot be caused by your cape.

Shadow Wall C-Rank
When an incoming attack threatens the user, instead of choosing to go incorporeal, he can summon a wall of shadows to attempt to block any physical skill of C Rank and lower. Other skills like magical skills (elements and mage spells) go right through the barrier.

Shadow Spikes C-Rank
In this technique, the shade manipulates the shadows around him, causing them to form spikes that launch themselves at the opponent. This however cannot be used on an opponents shadow, and they must be within a shadow for this to be used.

Shadow Grip B-Rank
By forming a large hand of shadows, the user can extend it up to 10 feet and grab the opponent, limiting his movements. After taking considerable damage, like a broken bone due to the hand constricting their body, anyone with 7 strength and above can shatter the hand.

Shadow Pinning B-Rank
A simple technique in the way it's performed, the shade need merely charge a weapon with his energy. Once done this, the shade stabs said weapon into an opponents shadow. This anchors the shadow, and thus the person to the spot. Limiting their movement. Any attempt to remove the Pinning weapon requires a strength of 9 or higher.

Deepest Darkness A-Rank
Required: Master Rank
A pure illusory skill that is triggered standing still for one whole post. This plunges the entire area into a pool of darkness, along with everyone in it.It limits the vision of all ensnared in this pool to 3 feet in front of them, with Rangers and Gunslingers having up to 10 feet, due to their perfect vision. This pool saps all energy used in attempts to escape and gives it to the user, unless someone uses a skill of A Ranked and above to break the skill.

Shadowy Judgement S-Rank
One of the most feared techniques in the Shade's arsenal. By using the link of ones shadow to their person, the shade can choose to attack the shadow of a person, rather than the person themselves. Any wounds caused to the shadow will appear of the person who the shadow belongs to.

A World of Shadows SS-Rank
The Shade is now capable of covering even the brightest area in a dense cloud of shadows, allowing him to use all other techniques in this bloodline for half the cost for a duration of 3 posts and to get the boost for being in darkness. This enables the Shadow Walk to be used where ever the user wants, however in the cloud of shadows, it makes a clicking sound. This alarms others of where they are. This can't be blown away by simple winds, but the use of Soul Judgement or Gift of God seems to dispel this skill.


xxxxxADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Shades also tend to go by simple names that depict their outlook on life such as: Pain, Anger, Silence, Sickle, etc.

The Pygmalion are living souls bound to an normally inanimate Statue, granting them movement as if they were human while not requiring the normal sustenance that humans require, instead requiring themselves to gather ambient energy to fuel themselves. As long as the Pygmalion has energy to spare, they are able to completely repair themselves, as well as enhance their body to survive.



xxxxxRULES
• Your Base energy pool is equal to 50% of a normal energy pool for your rank. This is applied before all other bonuses.
• They can use all other skills up to their rank for 10% of their normal cost. This increases by a further 10% for every rank above your own the technique is.
• Your Energy supply is also your life force, if it hits 0, your soul dies, and you simply return to an inanimate statue.
• In battle, you lose 5 energy a post for as long as the battle is going on.
• Can only be Close combat Neutral Classes (No holy/Unholy classes).



xxxxxWEAKNESSES
• Your energy supply is your Life force, if it hits 0, you die.
• No guns, Ranged weapons, or Magic



xxxxxSTRENGTHS
• Amazing strength and quite good speed, while being naturally made of stone makes you Tougher than others.
• Hand to hand is not only more effect for you to use, but also less effective against you, due to your stone body.
• As long as your have energy you can regenerate your stone body at will



xxxxxPASSIVE ABILITIES
• Natural Supply:
The Pygmalion' energy supply is 50% of the size of a normal energy pool for their rank, but in turn, reduces the cost of energy consumption to 10% of its normal cost. You can regain energy by remaining perfectly still, an art perfected as your are a living Statue. While in this state, you regain 15/30/45/60/75/90 energy a post. You must of remained still for at least 1 post first before the passive activates.

• You may Break my body, but not my soul:
For as long as you have energy, you will be able to regenerate any wound to your stone body. This regeneration process takes Energy equal to 10/20/30/40/50/60 energy a post.



xxxxxTECHNIQUES


Survival Skill: Hardening E-SS
A simply skill, by paying energy equal to 10% of their current supply (Minimum of their Rank in energy), they can use their energy to harden their bodies, reducing the effectiveness of all skills used against it by 1 rank for 5 posts.

Spiritual connection B
By focusing energy into your spirit, you gain the ability to keep your body together using your spirit as the tether. This allows you to control your hands if your arms are destroyed, or your body if your head is removed. However, limbs controlled this way must rest at a distance of at least 10 meters from the main body.

Animated Life A
By placing your hand on an inanimate object, you can bring it to life, by attaching a piece of your soul to it. This Object can then shift it's form into an animal or a humanoid form. By paying 20 energy, it can shift it's form into any object you can think of within reason, however, it will still be made of the original material, and cannot gain mass. This animal's speed and strength is equal to -2/-2 of your own. You are limited to the number of Animated life active at one time by your rank.

The Diabolus might as well be Nephilim, if their heritage was not for a slight deviation. While the Nephilim are those of the human race with ancestry created from the breeding of Angels and men alike the Diabolus evolved from the breeding of the Fallen Angels and men. This created a force of a being clearly more demonic than those of the Holy Nephilim.


xxxxxDESCRIPTION
Unlike those who contracted demonic diseases, such as the races of vampires and werewolves, these being are literally part human and part demon. The black blood of demons run through their body and taints there soul. This blood creates distinct, yet varying, characteristics within the holders of such a bloodline. Dependent upon the person their features may be different. These could range from various things such as: horns, fangs, claws, serpent-like tongues, pointed ears, a tail, and even a variation in skin tone - or all of them at once. However, the most noticeable feature is their eye color. Some maintain a deep red, which can be mistaken with a vampire, whilst others entire eyes are shrouded in black. These are merely physical attributes that make these demons stand out.
Being of such bloodlines these beings are stronger than your average being. Their strength being stronger that of a transformed lycan's, although their speed lacks the same for, in that area, they are but mere human beings. Their skin, as well, is supernaturally attuned with strength being essentially a slight armor. This is not the only thing that make these creatures so feared. Their deep, dark, demonic energy can be found in every attack thrown - even the physical. Their black blood is potent to vampires, as well as acidic. All around it is the darkness of their energy that make these being something to be feared, turning even simplest of attacks into dark, threatening ones.
The scary thing is what truly is constantly producing this dark energy. When first born the Diabolus are born with a demonic attachment. They are born already "possessed" by a demon. This demon is literally the true form - or spirit - of the being. Their body is but a host of the demon. It is when the body is destroyed that so is there soul. Although, at higher ranks, the Diabolus can literally call upon this demon and draw it out. It would seem as if there were two upon the battlefield but if one falls so does the other.

• Diabolus are capable of strength that would seemingly baffle most. (Str.9/Sp.5. Skin Is As Strong As Iron.)
• The Diabolus' attacks are naturally shrouded in dark energy. This includes the physical ones.
• "Black Blood" - Techniques will be based around this.
• Just as the Nephilim they are more durable than the natural human, but, more so even more durable than the Nephilim. Strikes by normal attacks will inflict less damage. Reducing the strength of the attack by a rank.
• Two Elements; One Must Be Fire

• "Light"/Holy attacks deal significant damage to these beings. (+2Str. to any attack of such)
• Healing these beings is virtually impossible unless they know a form of healing themselves or another of their kind heals them.
• Loners. Refuse to fight alongside another. Even their own kind.

xxxxxPASSIVE ABILITIES
The Hand of Satan E
Whenever an attack is successfully landed the energy of the Diabolus is transferred into the blow. This only harms those who can be harmed by dark energy, otherwise the attacks' original strength maintains the same. However, whatever magic is cast by the Diabolus grows a rank in strength due to the dark energy.

The Sight
Just like their counterpart the Diabolus can read the auras about them and see things for what they are. This allows them to pinpoint an opponent's energy level(rank), along with the ability to naturally see energy.

The Mark of the Devil
Each of the Diabolus bloodline maintains the "Mark of the Devil" which signifies their resemblance to their Satanic bloodline. These things are something which cannot simply be ignore and each little trait grants the Diabolus a little gift of a sort. It is a shame that they are born within no more or no less than two traits.
Claws/Talons - They fingernails maintain a fixed length of two inches. They are more like hardened, black, obsidian claws than fingernails and can tear through flesh like paper.
Fangs - Their canines, both top and bottom, are significantly noticeable to the point of which they protrude from the lip. These fangs maintain a certain gland which fills with the blood of the Diabolus and can spew it in a mass stream of acidic black blood to naturally defend.
Horns - To put it simply the horns are a strong asset and maintain an entire move set for their soul capabilities. The strength of the horns, upon birth, are equivalent to strength of a C-Ranked material. With each rank they grow til they cannot. (ex. Trainee=C, Novice=B, Adept=A, Expert=S, Master=SS, Sage=SSS)
Tail - Like the horns it is an asset which can maintain an entire skill-set to itself. It works on the same exact system as the Horns do except with speed. It has, essentially, a boost of +2spd. on its own attacks.




xxxxxTECHNIQUES
Generic Techniques (Non-Trait Specific)
Deception E
Though they have physical abnormalities the Diabolus take use of this very basic technique to mask both their spiritual signature and physical presence. This is to make them seem as ordinary as a human to all others.

Demon Guardian D+
This technique is meant to nullify an oncoming one. The Diabolus quickly blasts an aura of dark energy several inches beyond his body. The amount of energy put into the blast is equivalent to the rank of the Diabolus as well as the strength of the blast. So, if the Diabolus is S-Ranked it can null any technique S-Ranked and below for an S-Ranked cost. It can only be done timely. Five Post Cool Down

Hell's Ramparts C
At useful technique for offensive and defensive means. The Diabolus will load his energy, takes a post, and blast it out from his body. This, however, is a blast which results in a wide radius of demonic, black flames produced of dark energy. This results in a much stronger attack (B-Ranked Str.) and sends flames soaring out and about for five meters.

Trident of Lucifer B
The caster summons up massive amounts of dark energy into the palm of a raised hand. This spear is "thrown" at the opponent. It will zip through the air at some speed(+2) and with enormous strength(+2) as well. The thrown, spinning trident will create a vortex of energy about it strong enough to cut iron. Just it passing by is a hazard.

Devilish Temptation A
This is a hypnotic technique that can only be employed upon those three ranks in strength below the caster or two Ranks(ex.Trainee) below the caster. The Diabolus protrudes their snake-like tongue and begin to vibrate it at such a rate a high-pitched tune it created. The waves of this tune laced with the energy of the Diabolus. If the opponent takes heed to such a "ringing noise" within their ear they will become ensnared within the technique and has but a mere post to inflict a form of wound upon the Diabolus before they wish a command upon the opponent which they will see out. However, the Diabolus cannot move as they do this.

Devil's Advocate S
This is the true, demonic form of the Diabolus. As they enter this form the many different traits begin to appear all at once; a change in skin tone & eyes, horns, fangs, talons, even wings(for Speed orientated Classes). Depending upon the fighting profession(Class) the Diabolus either grow in size and mass and retrieve a reduction in speed(-1) and increase in strength(+3); or they can achieve wings. In return this grants them an increase in speed(+2) when using the wings for combat and a slight decrease in strength(-1).

Mark of the Beast SS
For those who have achieved the rank of Master such a technique becomes of access to them. Their form does something not expected. They become completely human. But, in doing so, they acquire a mark which resembles a triple six about the center of their forehead. The aura then creates form about them. I demonic, hellish form which seems no more than an aura but is actually solid. For it is there true demon that reveals itself, finally leaving the body a fighting. This fighting aura has set stats of 15/10 and can only be hurt by A-Ranked techniques. Lasts for ten posts.

By adding energy to the form of their nails they can grow the length of their claws up to a foot within length of pure energy. This energy, however, does take a physical form and can chipped chunks of steel away. A few slashes at a three inch thick steel door and they'd be threw in no time.

A technique in which the Diabolus can inject a near fatal bacteria through the flesh of an opponent. It is a slow acting one, and nearly unnoticeable up until the last moment. After six posts after the claws tore into the opponent's flesh he will begin to loss mobility in his limbs, each being a post. So, essentially, after a total of ten posts the entire body of the opponent will stiffen up to the point he becomes a (+/-)0 in speed. For each rank difference the deduction of speed will be affected. If you are a rank below their speed will reduce to 1Spd. and so on. If you are a rank above it will become a -1Spd. And so on.

Fang Techniques
Infected C
If they Diabolus latch onto their opponent with their fangs they can inject their own black blood into the blood stream of the opponent. After so long(three posts) the opponent will begin to feel the full affect of the technique and feel a decrease in mobility(-2Spd) and stamina(-2Str.).

A Snake's Venom C
The Diabolus will emit a stream of venom from the glands by their fangs and will shoot their acidic black blood at their opponent. This blood is actually strong enough to melt iron and slowly corrode steel.

Horn Techniques
Baphomet D
The Diabolus will feel their horns with energy. They will then, in any way shape or form, proceed to either ram their opponent or run them through with their horns. Upon doing so their is an eruption of energy which would send the one struck soaring back with various broken bones. Could break through brick walls and explode boulders without a problem.

Baphomet - Sent to Hell C
This move is a variation of the original Baphomet move. The user will use the initial ram or stab to lift their opponent up in the air. In stead of exploding the horns filled with energy utilizing that energy to keep the opponent locked in place. The user will then turn their head in any which way - may at a wall or the floor - and allow for the energy to then erupt with the option of the direction sent flying.

Baphomet - Disintegrate A
The user will utilize the skill Baphomet within a slight differently way once more. They will hook the opponent under the rib cage or beneath the arms and lift them. As they lift them the will begin to torch the opponent alive with their fire energy atop battering them into a wall or some form of obstacle.

Tail Techniques
Mark of Satan - Baphomet D
A brutal combo of an onslaught of slashes delivered by the tail. Like a blade whip the tail strikes the torso or back of the opponent. The tail then begins to embark upon a mass slashing that, when done, reveals the creation of an upside down Pentagram upon the body of the opponent.

Serpent's Grasp C
A simple, but useful, technique. The tails of the Diabolus will lash for. It will attempt to pierce the abdomen of the opponent. If successful it will pierce all the way through and wrap itself about the torso and draw the opponent force. The same can be done with a single limb.

Satan's Whip B
The tail will lash out in a lightning fast strike. The tail, however, is not of the main concern. As it whips it sends forth a blazing trail of black flames in the form of an oncoming blade toward the opponent. Strong enough to slice through a small centimeter of steel.

These men, in reference to Greek Mythology, can be thought of as the Sons of Hades'. Beings that are not fully from Hell. But not fully men either.

For each rank difference the deduction of speed will be affected. If you are a rank below their speed will reduce to 1Spd. and so on. If you are a rank above it will become a -1Spd. And so on.

Fang Techniques
Infected C
If they Diabolus latch onto their opponent with their fangs they can inject their own black blood into the blood stream of the opponent. After so long(three posts) the opponent will begin to feel the full affect of the technique and feel a decrease in mobility(-2Spd) and stamina(-2Str.).

A Snake's Venom C
The Diabolus will emit a stream of venom from the glands by their fangs and will shoot their acidic black blood at their opponent. This blood is actually strong enough to melt iron and slowly corrode steel.

Horn Techniques
Baphomet D
The Diabolus will feel their horns with energy. They will then, in any way shape or form, proceed to either ram their opponent or run them through with their horns. Upon doing so their is an eruption of energy which would send the one struck soaring back with various broken bones. Could break through brick walls and explode boulders without a problem.

Baphomet - Sent to Hell C
This move is a variation of the original Baphomet move. The user will use the initial ram or stab to lift their opponent up in the air. In stead of exploding the horns filled with energy utilizing that energy to keep the opponent locked in place. The user will then turn their head in any which way - may at a wall or the floor - and allow for the energy to then erupt with the option of the direction sent flying.

Baphomet - Disintegrate A
The user will utilize the skill Baphomet within a slight differently way once more. They will hook the opponent under the rib cage or beneath the arms and lift them. As they lift them the will begin to torch the opponent alive with their fire energy atop battering them into a wall or some form of obstacle.

Tail Techniques
Mark of Satan - Baphomet D
A brutal combo of an onslaught of slashes delivered by the tail. Like a blade whip the tail strikes the torso or back of the opponent. The tail then begins to embark upon a mass slashing that, when done, reveals the creation of an upside down Pentagram upon the body of the opponent.

Serpent's Grasp C
A simple, but useful, technique. The tails of the Diabolus will lash for. It will attempt to pierce the abdomen of the opponent. If successful it will pierce all the way through and wrap itself about the torso and draw the opponent force. The same can be done with a single limb.

Satan's Whip B
The tail will lash out in a lightning fast strike. The tail, however, is not of the main concern. As it whips it sends forth a blazing trail of black flames in the form of an oncoming blade toward the opponent. Strong enough to slice through a small centimeter of steel.

These men, in reference to Greek Mythology, can be thought of as the Sons of Hades'. Beings that are not fully from Hell. But not fully men either.

xxxxxHISTORY
The Diabolus might as well be Nephilim, if their heritage was not for a slight deviation. While the Nephilim are those of the human race with ancestry created from the breeding of Angels and men alike the Diabolus evolved from the breeding of the Fallen Angels and men. This created a force of a being clearly more demonic than those of the Holy Nephilim.


xxxxxDESCRIPTION
Unlike those who contracted demonic diseases, such as the races of vampires and werewolves, these being are literally part human and part demon. The black blood of demons run through their body and taints there soul. This blood creates distinct, yet varying, characteristics within the holders of such a bloodline. Dependent upon the person their features may be different. These could range from various things such as: horns, fangs, claws, serpent-like tongues, pointed ears, a tail, and even a variation in skin tone - or all of them at once. However, the most noticeable feature is their eye color. Some maintain a deep red, which can be mistaken with a vampire, whilst others entire eyes are shrouded in black. These are merely physical attributes that make these demons stand out.
Being of such bloodlines these beings are stronger than your average being. Their strength being stronger that of a transformed lycan's, although their speed lacks the same for, in that area, they are but mere human beings. Their skin, as well, is supernaturally attuned with strength being essentially a slight armor. This is not the only thing that make these creatures so feared. Their deep, dark, demonic energy can be found in every attack thrown - even the physical. Their black blood is potent to vampires, as well as acidic. All around it is the darkness of their energy that make these being something to be feared, turning even simplest of attacks into dark, threatening ones.
The scary thing is what truly is constantly producing this dark energy. When first born the Diabolus are born with a demonic attachment. They are born already "possessed" by a demon. This demon is literally the true form - or spirit - of the being. Their body is but a host of the demon. It is when the body is destroyed that so is there soul. Although, at higher ranks, the Diabolus can literally call upon this demon and draw it out. It would seem as if there were two upon the battlefield but if one falls so does the other.




xxxxxSTRENGTHS
• Diabolus are capable of strength that would seemingly baffle most. (Str.9/Sp.5. Skin Is As Strong As Iron.)
• The Diabolus' attacks are naturally shrouded in dark energy. This includes the physical ones.
• "Black Blood" - Techniques will be based around this.
• Just as the Nephilim they are more durable than the natural human, but, more so even more durable than the Nephilim. Strikes by normal attacks will inflict less damage. Reducing the strength of the attack by a rank.
• Two Elements; One Must Be Fire



xxxxxWEAKNESS
• "Light"/Holy attacks deal significant damage to these beings. (+2Str. to any attack of such)
• Healing these beings is virtually impossible unless they know a form of healing themselves or another of their kind heals them.
• Loners. Refuse to fight alongside another. Even their own kind.
• Surprisingly not capable of Regeneration



xxxxxPASSIVE ABILITIES
The Hand of Satan E
Whenever an attack is successfully landed the energy of the Diabolus is transferred into the blow. This only harms those who can be harmed by dark energy, otherwise the attacks' original strength maintains the same. However, whatever magic is cast by the Diabolus grows a rank in strength due to the dark energy.

The Sight
Just like their counterpart the Diabolus can read the auras about them and see things for what they are. This allows them to pinpoint an opponent's energy level(rank), along with the ability to naturally see energy.

The Mark of the Devil
Each of the Diabolus bloodline maintains the "Mark of the Devil" which signifies their resemblance to their Satanic bloodline. These things are something which cannot simply be ignore and each little trait grants the Diabolus a little gift of a sort. It is a shame that they are born within no more or no less than two traits.
Claws/Talons - They fingernails maintain a fixed length of two inches. They are more like hardened, black, obsidian claws than fingernails and can tear through flesh like paper.
Fangs - Their canines, both top and bottom, are significantly noticeable to the point of which they protrude from the lip. These fangs maintain a certain gland which fills with the blood of the Diabolus and can spew it in a mass stream of acidic black blood to naturally defend.
Horns - To put it simply the horns are a strong asset and maintain an entire move set for their soul capabilities. The strength of the horns, upon birth, are equivalent to strength of a C-Ranked material. With each rank they grow til they cannot. (ex. Trainee=C, Novice=B, Adept=A, Expert=S, Master=SS, Sage=SSS)
Tail - Like the horns it is an asset which can maintain an entire skill-set to itself. It works on the same exact system as the Horns do except with speed. It has, essentially, a boost of +2spd. on its own attacks.




xxxxxTECHNIQUES
Generic Techniques (Non-Trait Specific)
Deception E
Though they have physical abnormalities the Diabolus take use of this very basic technique to mask both their spiritual signature and physical presence. This is to make them seem as ordinary as a human to all others.

Demon Guardian D+
This technique is meant to nullify an oncoming one. The Diabolus quickly blasts an aura of dark energy several inches beyond his body. The amount of energy put into the blast is equivalent to the rank of the Diabolus as well as the strength of the blast. So, if the Diabolus is S-Ranked it can null any technique S-Ranked and below for an S-Ranked cost. It can only be done timely. Five Post Cool Down

Hell's Ramparts C
At useful technique for offensive and defensive means. The Diabolus will load his energy, takes a post, and blast it out from his body. This, however, is a blast which results in a wide radius of demonic, black flames produced of dark energy. This results in a much stronger attack (B-Ranked Str.) and sends flames soaring out and about for five meters.

Trident of Lucifer B
The caster summons up massive amounts of dark energy into the palm of a raised hand. This spear is "thrown" at the opponent. It will zip through the air at some speed(+2) and with enormous strength(+2) as well. The thrown, spinning trident will create a vortex of energy about it strong enough to cut iron. Just it passing by is a hazard.

Devilish Temptation A
This is a hypnotic technique that can only be employed upon those three ranks in strength below the caster or two Ranks(ex.Trainee) below the caster. The Diabolus protrudes their snake-like tongue and begin to vibrate it at such a rate a high-pitched tune it created. The waves of this tune laced with the energy of the Diabolus. If the opponent takes heed to such a "ringing noise" within their ear they will become ensnared within the technique and has but a mere post to inflict a form of wound upon the Diabolus before they wish a command upon the opponent which they will see out. However, the Diabolus cannot move as they do this.

Devil's Advocate S
This is the true, demonic form of the Diabolus. As they enter this form the many different traits begin to appear all at once; a change in skin tone & eyes, horns, fangs, talons, even wings(for Speed orientated Classes). Depending upon the fighting profession(Class) the Diabolus either grow in size and mass and retrieve a reduction in speed(-1) and increase in strength(+3); or they can achieve wings. In return this grants them an increase in speed(+2) when using the wings for combat and a slight decrease in strength(-1).

Mark of the Beast SS
For those who have achieved the rank of Master such a technique becomes of access to them. Their form does something not expected. They become completely human. But, in doing so, they acquire a mark which resembles a triple six about the center of their forehead. The aura then creates form about them. I demonic, hellish form which seems no more than an aura but is actually solid. For it is there true demon that reveals itself, finally leaving the body a fighting. This fighting aura has set stats of 15/10 and can only be hurt by C-Ranked techniques. Lasts for ten posts.

Claws/Talons Techniques
Extension D
By adding energy to the form of their nails they can grow the length of their claws up to a foot within length of pure energy. This energy, however, does take a physical form and can chipped chunks of steel away. A few slashes at a three inch thick steel door and they'd be threw in no time.

Demonic Bacteria B
A technique in which the Diabolus can inject a near fatal bacteria through the flesh of an opponent. It is a slow acting one, and nearly unnoticeable up until the last moment. After six posts after the claws tore into the opponent's flesh he will begin to loss mobility in his limbs, each being a post. So, essentially, after a total of ten posts the entire body of the opponent will stiffen up to the point he becomes a (+/-)0 in speed. For each rank difference the deduction of speed will be affected. If you are a rank below their speed will reduce to 1Spd. and so on. If you are a rank above it will become a -1Spd. And so on.

The Dragoons began as dragon-hunters. They were so skilled at aerial combat, long jumps, and devastating strikes, that they could zip into the sky and assassinate the monstrous creatures with little effort. In fact, their tactic at killing the creatures was so brutally efficient that the beasts submitted to the Dragoons, laying off of their land forever. Many of the dragons even became the summons or mounts of the warriors, and a prosperous relationship began between them, evolving this class of fighting in a very useful way. Nevertheless, their roots are as sky-hunters; they can fight in the air perhaps even better than on land, and don't forget; they're quite brutal on land.

They have abilities that can launch them over a hundred feet into the air at ridiculous speeds. Techniques that can allow them to safely fall back to the earth. They can zip through mountains as if they were playing hopscotch, and as an even greater show of their mobility -- at Novice rank, they gain a permanent animal companion. A summon; a dragon. At novice, the dragon cannot yet carry them, as it is still a Drake, only capable of supporting its own weight. Once the Dragoon hits Adept, the dragon will be almost fully grown, and will be capable of taking passengers. Like all dragons, it can breathe fire, and is very physically strong.

GD: Considering Dragoon wear dragonbone/dragonscale armor, they are highly resistant to corrosive acid attacks, as well as fire. The armor is fairly light for them, considering they've trained with it since a young age, and is far sturdier than steel. They also have a few defensive abilities in their repertoire, which are very useful for their type of combat.

U: The Dragoon are capable of long-ranged dragon spells, mid-ranged spear-throwing techniques, and can easily dominate close-ranged. They dragon mount, as well as their skills that allow them to easily close the distance on any opponent, assure you of their vast range of options.

Thus, they have smaller options, and there is more room to counter them. Similarly, they may be able to dominate the ground and the air, but enemies submerged in some way would leave them helpless. Dragons are also large targets, and thus can be whittled down with bullets and other fast projectiles if the Dragoon doesn't position properly.

WE: Before obtaining your dragon mount, and before they can fly, you're fairly weak. Your long-jumps are better-used to leap off of your mount and pursue targets, and considering the dragon is such an integral part of the class, before Adept-rank you're not meeting your potential.

NS: You might look at this and think, "why? Why no sub-class?" It's as simple as this, really; the Dragon they can summon has the potential to become so powerful it's easily worth the sub-class slot.

XXXCLARIFICATIONS ON THE DRAGON
The dragon mount takes up your summon slot; it counts as "the one summon you can have with its own energy pool". This means that all dragoon class abilities that your dragon specifically uses count on his/her energy pool, not yours. Your dragon is always one rank higher than you, even at Sage, where it will become SS. Once the dragon hits 'S' rank, it becomes considered a boss-class monster, and can be upgraded accordingly: upgraded in stats, in abilities, in scale hardness, whatever. The dragon itself initially starts off averagely, but it grows rapidly along with its rider.
Base stats for the dragon are: (str/spd)
Adept: 7/8
Expert: 9/9
Master: 12/12
Sage: 13/14
Legendary Monster: 15/17
It does not start at Novice, since, as stated, it is always a rank higher than you.
When the dragon reaches S rank, and becomes a boss, it develops in a particular way. Its body gains the ability to 'shift' between a dragon that walks on two legs, usually wielding a spear and a shield (or dual blades), or even a humanoid, draconian-like creature. In the humanoid-form, it can use all dragoon abilities, but is less sturdy.

You cannot learn/use any ranged weapons.
BONUSES: Spear techniques are learned with -2 posts.
You automatically obtain your Dragon pet at Novice; you don't need to learn it.
Fire, acid and wind attacks do one rank less of damage against you.
