Cieve And I hate the way the photographer posed my senior picture. It looks like I'm trying to feel myself up. gonk I hated my pictures, too. One of my outfits was a gothic period dress and he kept telling me to "smile." What the s**t? As a result, only ONE of those came out not looking completely retarded. And it was the one where I obstinately refused to open my mouth until he got frustrated enough to just take the picture. Sorry I edited your post instead of quoting. I fixed it. I think. crying

Sirius Silverstar You kind of remind me of Audrey Tatou [Da Vinci Code, Amelie]. Thank you, I couldn't figure out who the heck she made me think of!!
And Cieve - I know what you mean! gonk The guy that took mine was telling me how to sit for one and was like "Now this is what we call your "I am a sexy woman, hear me ROAR!" one." Ugh. Just...ugh. And in every single one of my senior pics, my smile looks SO forced. 'Cause it IS.
And I think nearly every senior that gets senior pics done has one of them by a tree. I think half of mine were by trees of some sort. As if we need reminding that there's more trees than people around here.
ANYWAY. Cieve, you're stunning. And you really do make me think of the Sophie from Da Vinci Code.

Lady Pyre [ Sorry I edited your post instead of quoting. I fixed it. I think. crying Don't worry, I've done that so many times... gonk Siruis Silverstar You kind of remind me of Audrey Tatou [Da Vinci Code, Amelie]. Before Da Vinci Code came out, everyone told me I looked like Audrey Hepburn. Now I look like Audrey Tatou.
Which is fine by me. They're both drop dead gorgeous. whee Hey Pasta And I think nearly every senior that gets senior pics done has one of them by a tree. I think half of mine were by trees of some sort. As if we need reminding that there's more trees than people around here. God. Everyone who has their pictures taken at that place has at least three pictures by that tree. It's pretty bad, seeing fifty pictures in a row in the yearbook of that tree.A.k.A. You look so uncomfortable though. I was. The photographer kept having me stand in all these weird poses. In that picture I look like I'm falling forward as I'm feeling myself up. gonk

Wow, you do look like Audrey Hepburn, too - I had to think about what she looked like. >.>
The tree that had a starring role in our yearbook was this pretty little birch tree, and almost all the girls had the same pose, too - kind of peeking out from behind the tree with their heads tilted to the side and their hair falling down and looking all wanna-be Herbal Essences commercial-style. They guys all just got to cross their arms and lean up against it and look NORMAL, but all us girls looked like we were playing peekaboo with the camera or something. Ugh.

We didn't even get our senior pictures in the yearbook. They decided to do away with it our year because it "involved too much status." So just because a handful of kids couldn't afford to get a professional photographer (It's hardly a poor neighborhood where this is a really big concern), we all had to have ourpicture taken by the same "professional photographer" before school in the journalism classroom. It was AWFUL. Everyone had to rush around in the morning getting all fixed up to be there on time to have their picture taken portrait-style in front of the same damned blue-greay screen as everyone esle. And then most had to change again before school because either their clothes didn't fit the dress code (god forbid you show off your arms in a sleeveless top) or they just weren't comfortable schoolwear (I wore my hair down and had to pull it out of my face afterwards).
Ungh. I swear. My class got screwed on so many things. They would always decide to change some nifty tradition the year it was our turn. And then the next year? Reimplemenet it because they realized stopping it was a stupid idea. Gee! If you'd asked any kid in the school, or even most of the teachers, they could have told you that! ******** clueless administration.

I never had a senior picture taken, I had left school before that.
I did always manage to sneak into the senior class photos for a laugh though. So I was in the senior class photo 2 or 3 years in a row.
