The young boy in shackles awoke from his nightmare, holding his head. His lips pursed to murmur words to himself, but to his great surprise he couldn't speak. He tried speaking louder, but a random set of sounds came out: it was apparently that he lost his speech.

Looking up at the sky, he cleared himself from the barrels to which he hid from and then his body pushed him to be on all fours, even though he should be a biped and be walking on his feet. The reborn cat demon walked around on hands and feet, scanning the area with his pearl white eyes. He overlooked on the deck down to the hotsprings where he spotted Neige there recovering.

Walking back to the ship, he was trying to find a crew member to help him with his problems and saw them all gather around talking. He sat down to listen to them, luckily still knew how to comprehend English.

Ear twisted and she smelt something, she raised a hand the blast turned into butterflies. "Mathew, you better be having an accident with your abilaties then disrigarding my comands." She placed her child down onto the chair, she grabbed out the math text book.

"Well start with math first. For a while I'll be your teacher til I can find a crew member smart enough to totur you. If you are my son, I don't want you brainless not knowing anything in the world." Kissed his forhead.

Ed stared down at the textbook, before he poked it and waited for something to happen. He sighed before opening the book and looking down at the problems. He had remembered all of the knowledge they had stored in his head and he pointed at the questions as he said "Nine. Four. Twenty six. Fourty Two. Eight. Twelve." He then flipped to the next page and continued his answers until he stopped at one of the problems and closed the book. He looked up at his mom and then asked "Math is easy. Can I learn how to read?"

Mathew quickly jumped off teh ship as he sprinted through the town yelling out for Neige. He then shot a flare out of his arm and into the sky, but it seemed that is was to now prevail.

"Come in..Alright..Edward." SHe grabbed out a literature book, "I want you to try to read My left foot then answer questions one to six." She walked to the door and opened it, polped onto the bed, waiting for her son to do the work.

Neige whinced as he made a light noise before he was let go," Hehe...I am alive an well." He smiled softly." You shouldn't listen to Anthony...h-he just likes to mess with people's heads is all." Neige had slipped and said the man's name. He knew who Mathew was talking about even though he said 'man' but he didn't realize he had given it away. He looked at mathew as he smiled slightly," I am sorry I scared you." He said," I was just relaxing in the hot spring when I herd hte cummotion." he said.

Yjro smiled," YOu aren't going to kick me out like a whore this time are you?" He asked teasingly as he hadned the girl the food and walked over giving a plate to Ed," Are you hungry Ed?" He asked looking at the boy studing," So what are you teaching him?" He asked christa.

Mathew looked towards Neige and then said "Just don't run off without telling me, it scares me."He motioned towards Neige as he began to stride slowly back to the ship.

Ed looked at the food for a moment, but he did not want to stop studying and simply ignored it, but he soon looked up as he asked "What is a whore?" He questioned at what Vjro was saying, and he set the book down.

He followed them around as they were settling, worrying more about himself, why he was in this status. Maxim made a bold move and pawed the captain's shoulder in seek of her attention. A mew came from his mouth, at least he could say something now.
