Issy frowned as she stood up to leave, but realized that it was pretty hard to keep a conversation going on with someone that you hadn’t seen in ages. It was awkward, sharing such an intimate thought with his sister, especially since he hadn’t spoken to her since they were young. The conversation was probably one that was for siblings that were closer. Still, even through all of that, it was nice to know that he wasn’t the only one that thought the way he did. He’d never been able to talk about any of this with Ushu, because he didn’t understand. It had been nice to be able to share it with someone that finally did.
“Another night then, Eusi,” he said quietly as she began to walk away, his eyes drifting down to his paws. However, he glanced up at the last second, perhaps as she was about to get just out of hearing distance, “Eusi, it was really nice to finally see you again. I’m sure everyone else misses you as much as I do.” He smiled after her, though it was weak, and slightly lonely. Then he calmly stood up, beginning to wander off in another direction.
Maybe it really was just a cub’s dream.

She didn't reply to his last words but she did hear them. After a minute she glanced back to the dark form of her retreating brother. A smile curled against her maw and she shook her head softly and chuckled, turning to go.
Missed her, huh? Maybe she'd run into more of her family.
