Ah, well, damage already done. Her expression sofftened feeling guilty for hurting Tillif. She turned back to him and looked him in the eyes again.

They were getting nowhere fast. She would just have to show him how the bond worked. She opened up to him and shared her love for him. She sent all the protective and warm feelings for him along with some of her frustration for what he was putting her through. He would know exactly what she was feeling and why. Also, through the bond, it wouldn't hurt him at all.

Tiliff nodded with all his effort. Which only made him dizzy and fall down in the mud. He then laughed, "I ain't gonna wear white though... it'd get dirty and turn black! I can be the Black Herald!"
