Stasia sat out at her 'observatory', located on her roof. Her long ears were almost hidden by the mass of curly brown hair that sat on top of her head. No, she wasn't an elf....well, she was half one, anyway; a halfling. She sat on a roman-style bench, enjoying a nice cup of tea as she stared up at the stars with her odd blue eyes, noting their positions silently. Three of them had moved since the previous night. Interesting....perhaps she wouldn't have to wait before she...

Her thoughts were interrupted as a small being appeared a few feet infront of her. It wore a black, monk-style robe, it's face hidden. None of it's skin was showing anywhere, since it was wearing gloves as well, making it impossible to tell what it was. It walked towards the halfling, carrying a note and a....cabbage?

Stasia raised an eyebrow, taking the vegetable and note as they were handed to her. The little being faded away before the girl could ask any questions. She sighed, then opened the note, hoping it would explain why she'd been sent a cabbage. As she opened the letter, she pulled out some flyers and paper from some place called "The Patch" and another for the "Liberty Center". There was a map, showing where everything was, and how to get there from her home. The pamphlets all mentioned something about 'adoption' and 'children'. She sat the pamphlets down, reading the note to find out just what this was all about.

A few minutes later, the halfling chuckled. "So, I'm going to be a mother now, hm?" she murmered, lifting the cabbage up into her lap. "Well, the dream was right after all, I suppose. Though I wonder how Matthias obtained the cabbage from the labs.... Ah well, I hopefully can explain everything when I take the plant back once the child is born...." she muttered, talking to herself. Which, in all truth, was normal for her. "I wonder why he got this for me...I mean,I doubt I'd have found the labs on my own, but he could've just told me about them. But instead, he went through the trouble of getting the veggie for me....I'll have to thank him next time I see him." After all, her friend wasn't very social, and to have gone to the lab and gotten this little one meant he had spoken to people who weren't his immediate friends or family; something her friend hated to do.

Stasia looked down at the cabbage, smiling gently. "I'll take good care of you, kiddo...." she murmered softly, cradling the veggie as one might an infant. She stood to her feet, humming softly as she headed back to the ladder that led into her bedroom. "Now, let's get you some water. I'm sure you must be parched..." she murmered to the plant in her arms, climbing down the ladder.

As soon as she stepped down onto the tye-dye rug, a flash of blue fur and stars flew at her, stopping a few inches away. The little, blue, winged puppy barked happily, then sniffed at the cabbage. Sensing it wasn't a normal veggie, Circe licked it gently before rubbing her head against it. The pup barked once more before zooming off to the room directly left of her owner's; picking a room out for the veggie, one could assume.

Stasia chuckled. "Maybe later, Circe. But right now, this veggie needs to be watered. Besides, I don't plan to let it leave my side until the kiddo is born. And, we don't know if it's a little boy or a little girl." she said to the faerie pup, smiling. "We may have to remodel a bit...." she murmered thoughtfully before heading to the bathroom to water her new charge. *Something tells me things are going to be a bit different from now on...* she thought silently, grinning.

Pox-Ridden and Bored

Nataya meets a nice girl named Delilah and learns different ways to make chicken pox stop itching. She also gets to see Casia and Chris there, who also have caught the pox.

Pat-pat.

Nataya laid on the floor in the living room, practicing her writing while Mommy fixed lunch for the two of them. She did her best to form the figures Uncle Matthias has shown her. She paused, hearing a soft meeping sound beside her. She looked, finding one of her dust bunnies, Thes, looking up at her. "Oh, Nat-yah is writing her name." she said, smiling brightly at the little ball of fluff. "Want see?" Thes meeped in response, and the toddler held the notebook up for her to see. There was a moment of silence, followed by another meep. "It writing!" Nataya said, blinking a little at what ever the dust bunny had said. "No a scribble!" The little fairy sat up, closing her little note book. It was not just scribbles; it was her name! Anyone could see that! Nataya watched as the dustbunny rolled off towards the stairs, then reopened her notebook to draw a flower near her name. She smiled, pushing herself up on her feet before running to show Mommy her new accomplishement.
