Omigawsh! My friend was marching last summer and the head joint of her flute flew off like 1 or 2 yard lines away. It was so screwed up we had to bend it back in place just so she fit it into the body and couldn't play on it till it was fixed...

Band Labels

flutes-totally perfect. everyone's jealous of their awsomeness.
trumpets-think they're cool like flutes but end up coming off as jerks (and somehow manage to play well without actually practicing)
Drums-can't do anything right
Clarinets-wannabe evils....they're still woodwinds...just not as scary as flutes
Horns/mellos-the dumb ones. usually the worst players in the band but that's not widely spread enough to make into a label.
saxaphones-flip between being a woodwind or a brass based on when it's convenient to them.

Brass-lazy as heck. never do any work at all but still manage to sound good.
Woodwinds-pfft...know it alls >_>
Percussion-............no comment......

feel free to add more.

and if you don't mind I have some stories to add. (actually I'll put them in another forum cuz they're off topic....)

agreed. except our trumpets NEED to pratice, only one or two are any good

I agree! Flutes are uber important too!

For example:

It is very funny. but if all the flutes are gone and they play a song that flutes arent dominate in then will we really be missed? I know i would miss me. but would the rest of the band really miss the flutes? and has anyone heard of a song called the red balloon?

i cant say i agree w/ all of this...

Band Labels
flutes- ok i cant say we're perfect but everyone is jealous of our amazingness

trumpets- ego the size of a sousaphone and there's almost always a trumpet solo... in everything... especially pep band... in my opinion... thats not fair

drums- not the brightest crayon in the band but loved <3

clarinets- considering my best friend just so happens to play the clarinet i beg to differ! i love<3 heart wen they play low notes

horns- ok we only have like 1 of those so i dont have much to say considering i cant stand the only one razz

saxaphones- ok depends which kind of sax it is whether its considered wood wind or brass i mean bari sax's... i love them but they're more brass than woodwind i mean yea they're technically a woodwind but... if there was a brass sectional our bari sax would definetly be included

brass- ok i cant say i like many of the brass players we have but over all they're ok... ish

woodwind- ok... all woodwinds... are amazing

percussion- LOVED CRAYONS

so yea... o and my flute... she's LindaRose : biggrin
