He's referring to the disrespect it would be if a staff member would stare down the Asian patients at a nursing home, Scoot.

Bumpy bump.
Bottom line: if we knew just exactly how the human mind worked, psychologically and anatomically, we'd know a lot more about the world we live in. 3nodding
...maybe.

well, withouth thoughts, i guess life would be quite boring and a lot more violent. Now sometimes we just think "god, do i hate him/her". If we would say those things out loud, life would become a hell of lot more violent. Then again, maybe it wouldn't be very boring, but just filled with pain and suffering each day, so i'll just be happy we are able to have thoughts

I wouldn't go so far as to say that life would only be filled with pain and suffering. Not every thought someone would have would be negative. In fact, it might cause people to think more positively so life would get better.

Ya know, this question came to me a couple weeks ago: when we were little, our parents and teachers always told us:
"If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all."
Now that we're older, and encouraged (sometimes) to speak our minds... whatever happened to that expression? sweatdrop

I still implement it on occasion. I see no point in saying something negative to ruin another person's day just for my own "gain". Or try to put it as delicately as possible.

True. I've done similar things when I'm in a bad mood. I'd already know how much it sucks to be in a bad mood, so why spread it? 3nodding
