I can't sing either! ._. We're in this together. xD Yeah, pretty much.... and for those who think the violin/viola is hard to play, it is pretty tough but if you practice a lot, you will get good in no time smile

Ohh yeah, I heard @@" (That violin is hard to learn).
I've never thought of playing it till recently, when my friend was composing piece with a violin and piano, and the guy playing the violin was soo.. ♥

Haha, I play the violin. :3 I started playing in fourth grade...so I've been playing for around 5-6 years now. I play in my school orchestra and chamber orchestra. I like to think I'm pretty good, but I'm...probably not. xD I don't know. I don't like to brag about myself.
The violin is difficult to learn at first, but I didn't think it was really that bad. The only thing to do is to practice a heck of a lot, I guess. The hardest part is really just trying to get a good sound out of the violin, and the technical aspects such as bow placement, posture, etc. just help with that. Reading the notes and everything else is pretty easy.
I also play the keyboard/piano. I started around second grade and took lessons for about a year or two, but then my teacher got sick and couldn't teach anymore. D: So now, I teach myself in my spare time. My piano isn't that great obviously, but I'm hoping to get better.
The one instrument I really want to learn is the cello. It just seems like such a beautiful instrument. x3 The erhu would be really cool to learn as well. And oh, a friend of mine plays the gu zheng.

Well actually, I thought that playing the guitar would be piece of cake after playing the viola so I picked mine one day and decided to try to learn it. IT WAS NOT EASY. It might even be harder now that you know the guitar because the strings are all different and I'm pretty sure that reading the music is different to. Also, guitars have frets that tell you where to place your fingers while violins/violas do not, so its pretty much guess and check until you get good at it. But if you really want to, you should give it a shot!!!!! Maybe i'll actually learn my guitar one day too.

Kuansha: Well, only if you want to. I believe that violin takes years to play. >_< Since it's all about using your bow and your hands, while the guitar is basically placing your fingers on the frets and playing it on the strings with a pick.

it was the piano...then later on in life i went to the clarinet...and now i play nothing lol...
oh...and i did attempt too play the guitar but...it wasn't meant to be for me sweatdrop
