Michaela looked over her shoulder as Thomas ran away, a smile spread across her face. "Michaela!" She hollered in reply. Heading to the park a little ways down the road, she realized that Thomas had looked rather distracted before he had ran into her. Not that he was late, but there was something else. But she couldn't seem to place her thumb on it. Then she remembered the girl she had walked past moments before she ran into Thomas. She was extraordinarily beautiful, but how could someone be so beautiful?

Maria still walked in pace, humming to herself. Under her humming, she could sense a small commotion go on ways behind her. Since she was a vampire, she had better senses. Maria looked back behind her, it seemed like a boy had run into a girl that she had passed a couple minutes ago. Her eyes focused on the boy. Immediately, her expression became cold and her nose crinkled from the feint smell. "A werewolf..." she said in a soft tone that no one nearby could hear. She sighed as it seemed the boy was heading for school. "Maybe I should skip classes today..." she thought about it, she wasn't entirely in the mood to go through school, having to hold her nose with all the other werewolves around even though the other vampires still went. Maria was still getting used to being around the wolvens. She kept watch on the boy as he ran past her towards the college. Ugh, this is going to be harder than I thought. She thought as the scent of him got worse since he was closer.

Michaela stood there still lost in thought. Her mind went blank, forgetting what she was currently thinking about. As shook her head, she looked at her watch. "Oh no!! I forgot I added a class to my schedule!" Panicking, she started to run back towards the school. Son of a.... she didn't finish the phrase but she was quite frustrated with herself. Being a very responsible girl, she was rather irritated that she had forgotten about the newly added class.

Thomas had already arrived by the gates of Thorn College, just as the bell at the clock tower chimed the hours. "oh god oh god oh god oh god..." He kept repeating that as if it was some mantra that would actually help him not to be late in class. Well, it didn't. Apparently, his Adavnced Algebra professor wasn't too keen on letting him in without a long sermon.

"Mr. Alphaeus, we're off on a very bad start." The sermon seemed to echo in the four walls of the room as Thomas felt as though he was shrinking.

Michaela's head jerked up when she heard the tower chime. "Oh no..." She groaned as she ran faster to the school. As she got there she remembered exactly where her class was. Walking down the halls, it looked as if they were stretching making it seem that the path was longer. She opened the door to Advance Algebra with hesitation, she didn't know why she signed up for this class. She hated math, and hardly ever knew what she was doing. Making no eye contact with anyone she sat next to the of the door and sat in far back without a word.

After the seemingly long sermon, and the obvious embarassment it dealt, Thomas was finally able to take a seat. There was only one vacant seat left in the whole classroom, and it was somewhere at the back. It'll have to do... He thought as he made his way to that seat.

He sat down, sighing audibly as he did so. "This is going to be a long day..." He muttered incomprehensibly to himself as he turned to see who he sat next to. He was a bit surprised to see a familiar face. What was her name again... He searched his mind for her name, knowing he had just bumped into her that morning. "Michaela?" He said, in a voice that was almost a whisper, not wanting to attract the attention of the professor.

Michaela paid no attention to whoever it was getting a lecture in the front of the class. She got her books out, a blank sheet of paper, and a pen. As the boy sat down, she thought he looked oddly familiar. When she looked back at her paper, she heard name and looked up to see Thomas. "Thomas? I didn't know you were in this class, course I just transfered in so that could be why. How was the lecture?" She grinned teasingly.

"I didn't think you were in here, either."

Thomas said as he got out a notebook and a pen. The notebook was clearly new, and only had a few writings on it, but the pen was obviously of some time already, with all the scratchmarks and stuff.

"Heh heh...." He chuckled nervously, remembering the lecture. "Very informative." he joked back, remembering the tirade the professor went through mere moments ago.

Michaela chuckled softly but quickly stopped when they professor looked her direction and continued to talk about the lesson that they were dealing with for the day. And just as she assumed it was more formulas and vocab words that they needed to study. Luckily they weren't assigned any homework. As the class went on, Michaela stared at the clock waiting for it to over. Then she decided to doodle on the corner of her paper. She started to draw dogs, then wolves. She had seen many in her lifetime and also raised one.

Thomas chuckled as well, but abruptly stopped as soon as he felt the gaze of the professor turn to them. He took down some of the words he heard were important, and a few formulas here and there. He had this strange way of note taking that he summarizes whatever is important, and only writes down what he deems to be needed.

His gaze drifted to Michaela's paper, seeing she seemed to be doodling on the corner of the paper. He saw she drew dogs and wolves. This amused him, after all, he was a wolf, technically speaking.

"You like dogs and wolves, eh?" He said, referring to the drawings she had doodled on the paper.

Michaela looked up from her doodles, surprised that he noticed her doodling. "Oh...yes. I love them. I actually took care of a wolf when I was younger, it was abandoned in the middle of winter, so I took it and took care of it. It passed a couple years ago." The memory slightly saddened her but she was grateful for the time she had spent with it. It had been a while since she had a pet such as Akeeta, the name she had given the wolf. She had actually been debating on getting another pet soon. But couldn't decide on what. She looked back up at Thomas. "Do you like them?" She asked curious as she eyed the clock realizing that soon class was going to be out.

"I see..." Thomas listened intently as she narrated about the wolf she cared for. He was a bit surprised she had actually taken care of a wolf when she was younger. Most people were afraid of wolves, but she seemed different. She actually liked them. We'd get along just great. he thought.

"Of course." He said, in a tone that said he was sure. After all, I am a wolf myself. He wanted to add, but knew well he couldn't just divulge this to anybody... it would be disastrous if people knew he was a werewolf, and it would bring about unknown consequences. "I have a passion for wolves." He grinned.

Michaela looked at Thomas, surprised that he had a liking for wolves such as she did. "Really? Wow...I never really met anyone else that liked wolves. Most people I have asked have said they are killers or just a filthy version of a well-trained dog. I hate when people judge an animal by it's nature. If dogs were sent into the woods, they would the same way as a wolf does." She noticed her voice was raising, but luckily the bell rang so the teacher couldn't yell at her.

"So did I."

Thomas knew well that very few people actually liked wolves, and most often seen them in a bad light. What she said was true, people generally see wolves as killers or wild dogs. As much as he wanted to prove them wrong, and as much as he tried to convince them, he had always failed.

The bell rang shortly after Michaela spoke, signalling the end of class. He stood up, and placed his things back in his bag. "Um..." He said, as the other students were already leaving the room. "Do you have any plans for later?" He asked her. "Maybe you want to hang out for a while or something?"

Michaela looked up at Thomas as she put her things in her bag. She wasn't expecting and invitation to go hang out, but it was nice to actually make friends for once. "Sure, that sounds good to me." As she put her bag on, she headed down the aisle of desks and looked at Thomas waiting for him. "What did you have in mind?" Though she was somewhat good at making friends, planning on what to do when it came to hanging out with people wasn't her greatest quality.
