Izlelja theonlypie Yar i think when PW VI comes out it will answer some of the questions, like apollo's backstory and what happened to all the pw characters like edgeworth and franzika true..but I wasn't really interested in that. I wanted to learn more about.... SPOILERS: "Those" Psyche locks(you know what i'm talking about!), and those paintings. Yes,i'm trying to say it in as non-spoilerific way as possible. I'd like to know why those psyche locks were in the game, without even explaining what the heck they were. And the paintings...that was also very anticlimactic.

The rest of this post may contain spoilers-read at your own risk!Minuki/trudy and her mother(who I won't name),both have a diamond broach... valant has a heart broach, and Zak has a clover. so,no known character, that I currently remember, has a spade...except maybe for 'someone' that happened 7 years ago in the past,or Kristoph Gavin.(he did steel a card..the ace of spades..so he would 'have one'..)I wonder if anyone else saw it.*shrugs*that,or I just accidentally skipped over some key text...

I haven't even played the game, and I already love it!
Of course, you guys have to understand....this game did have some storyline restrictions.
It had to tie up some loose ends with Phoenix, so the story ended up focusing on him more than Apollo. It's only natural that this would cause the story to seem lacking.

They wouldn't have had to spend time tying up Nick's loose ends if they didn't bring him in as a character... stare Sorry, the whole Phoenix=hobo-mentor thing is kind of a sore subject for some reason.

From Capcom's perspective, it's a bit of a lose/lose situation - either you write Phoenix out of the storyline or you keep him in. Either way you're going to anger fans by making no mention of their favourite character, or you're going to upset some people by having two main characters in the game. I think Capcom didn't do a very good job of negotiating the two, but I still think they made the right choice in keeping Phoenix in.

Lets see... I'm half way though the 4 case. See I got both the 3rd and the 4th game at the same time, so I really blazed though the 3rd in a day or two so I could play Apollo guilt fear. Mistake number 1.
I was really thinking it was going to be a lot like the 5 case in the first game, you know? I'd thought I could do all that cool DS stuff anytime I wanted, but yeah not the case.
I disliked the 2nd case, too much going on. And I was not a fan at all of the 3rd case. I think the 1st case was ok, and I can't give an opion yet on the 4th, it's intresting to say the least.
Character wise, Apollo is as I expected him to be, ok. I expected Klavier to be less annoying, I don't believe that double career move they placed on him. Sorry to say your either a lawyer or in a full time rock band thing, not both. Everyone else was rather dull at best, and hobo Phoenix...is well hobo phoenix. It's weird seeing him as an NPC, but I guess it's just a change that we can do nothing about.
So yeah, sweatdrop I expected WAY more out of this game. *shurgs* I just hope the next one will be better

:3 I like it so far. Not quite finished. I miss the old characters, but when I found out that Ema was going to be in GS4 I was soooo happy... D: I miss Franzy and Edgey though. Very much. Even though my favorite character came back. Do they ever say what happened to Maya?

Well...I finally got the game. I love it!
The game is a bit easier than JFA and T&T, but I suppose that's so new people can get into the series.... I actually liked the second case...the gratuitous use of panties made me think of my favorite One Piece character, which then caused me to lol uncontrollably. Plus, I thought the case was pretty fun. I started the third case, but didn't get very far in it at all.
As for characters.....
I love Hobo Phoenix. He feels like a natural progression of Normal Phoenix...just older, wiser, and a bit more sarcastic.
Apollo is pretty cool. He definitely feels like a rookie lawyer...and he seems like a nice guy. I like him...but not as much as Phoenix.
Klavier is my second favorite prosecutor now. ( No one is going to be cooler than Godot. ) For starters, I love his theme song, I love his in court air guitar, and I love how he pounds the wall...and he's a good prosecutor too, which I like....he reminds me of my old 2nd favorite prosecutor, Edgey.
And I hope I don't get flamed for this, but Trucy is the best assistant in the whole series. She made me lol so many more times than Maya or Pearl ever did. Not to mention....her awesome panties.

On the first part of case two.
I died a little inside when Phoenix said he ((forged evidence.)) Wow, way to stop being my role model, you hypocritical asshat. You better have some SERIOUS redemption by the end of this game or I'm going to hope you never ever get your attorney's badge back. Because right now, you don't deserve it.
Edgeworth would be ashamed.
I do love Apollo, though. D'aw, so cute. :3

I just finished it yesterday, seems like the last case was a bit rushed at the end, and you get to cross-examine the witness once in the last part (though what you see in the perceive bit of it is creeeeepppy)

I miss Phoenix but, playing as Apollo, we get to see Phoenix from time to time so I'm not freaking out that much about it. I could honestly get used to Apollo. I mean, It's kind of the same thing as when we first start to play as Phoenix in the first game. I just have to get used to his voice. I miss the way Phoenix said "objection!".
