umm.. this is a hard one.. i can name my top 3 bands easily, as for the 4th and the 5th, both change from time to time..
1. Radiohead
2. Blur + Gorillaz (basically, anythin by damon albarn)
3. Broken Social Scene
others..
bloc party, arcade fire, british sea power, stars, etc.. sweatdrop

Radiohead
Suede
Mansun
Yeah, I don't know about the last two. As of this moment it's probably My Bloody Valentine and... uh, Nine Inch Nails because holy crap their new songs are awesome.

radiohead almost didn't make it on the list
because my complusive-ness is making me think of like
