Probably kind of a spoiler as well...
My reply: She didn't want it before either, so I think they will figure it out and that it will just take time. But I DO think that it will happen again.

Becuase after the way she freaked, I just can't see it happening, and that's what really standing in the way right now.

The only way that I can see Ivy binding Rachel is if someone else is trying to and she HAS to... Other than that I don't see it happening. I do think that they will find a blood balance though. I phrased it wrong >.> but you know what I mean... When I went to the book signing Kim said that Nick will be coming back into the series as an active character so I'm really interested to see how that goes. Do you think she will start something with Marshall? I think they might try to but that it won't work out. I think he'll be afraid of what she is becoming.

Yeah, the circumstances would have to be pretty extreme for it to happen. I really don't see her and marshal working out, he needs to be the white knight too bad and I think you're right, he won't be able to handle an even stronger Rachel....
I don't think I want Nick to come back, I really grew to dislike him. As for their balance, I think once they find Kris's killer, it might work out.

Yeah, Marshall's so not going to work out. he was great as a bit character in book 4 but in this one I just kind of wanted to smack him a bit. I mean he's a nice guy but he's soooo out of his league.
Nick's coming back? well, I kind of expected it considering he's not dead... but man that boy needs to die. I mean he really needs to die. he's like approaching Richard (Anita Blake see the Laurell K Hamilton thread) levels of "I need to be killed off horribly."

I don't think Nick should die... He needs to be around so that Jenks can call him 's**t-for-brains'... besides, Ivy owes him a good punching bag session for the pot-to-the-head scene, doesn't she?

You'll find out whiteasacorpse!! ^^ I HATE finish a newly released book because that means I have to wait forever for the next book to come out in the series. I've always had a weird thing with Quen. He's just got that bad guy feel and he's a body guard *shrugs*
I honestly think Nick should be killed off later in the series after Kim has done whatever she needs to with him. He is of no use to Rachel, and he only seems to bring trouble and pain to Rachel.

I heart Rachel so much I couldn't wait for paperback. I brought it like the week it came out or the day(don't remember) yet I've been too lazy to read it. I lend it to my friend to hold it for me when I first brought since I didn't have room in my bag but she took it and read it before me when I was suppose to read it first stressed . But its cool since she's my good book buddy. I really want to read it but I've been so busy. crying Hopefully in the summer I can read it.
