"That, that's why we should have left, let's go help this poor guy" Altair said and stood up, he unholstered his .45 and walked out of the building. Dimtri picked up his warhammer and slung his shotgun onto his back and followed. Altair stopped at the corner and saw a young man running around. He threw his cloak overhis cloak and made sure it covered his steel arm, people tended too be firghtened by someone with a mechanical arm and eye. altair went out first, Dimitri hung back. "Where's the demon?!" Altair asked stopping infront of the man.

He looked at the people offering help. "You can't help...no human could possibly beat him. A demon he is but he somehow has power over the holy light. He's in Rifter Strem." The man said explaining where it is. "He has my brother hostage and told me he'll blow his head off if who he's after doesn't come. I wouldn't go if I were you. He's Tomha the Corrupt, He came to the town that was already destroyed and forced me to go find somebody fitting his power description, if a fake goes, he'll blow my brothers head off infront of them." He said nervously.

"well lucky for you I know someone who can deal with it" Altair said. he lifted his head and looked right into the man's eyes with his real and metal eye. "where is this demon?" He asked. He flicked his right wrist and Dimitri walked up too Altair's left flank. As Dimitri approached the man could feel the tempeture rise.

(Sorry about the late post, I was hitting Best buy and bought myself a DDR game. I'm no good at it but it's still fun)
"He's at the town south of here, Rifter Strem is the name of the place. He and my brother are somewhere in the town..." He said nervously as he took a step back after feeling the temperature. He really hoped the entire plan would work well. If these two did go and beat him, the two slaves are free, if Tomha won, their still freed. There was no way to lose or so the man thought.

Altair didn't notice the tempeture change, he had been around Dimitri so much he no longer felt the heat. "rest assured that demon has seen his last dawn" Altair said then walked past the man heading south. Dimitri followed close behind.

The man watched them leave and sighed in relief as he tried to live his life in peace now. The demon Tomha was waiting for his enemies to come into what he calls his trap. He had the hostage hidden and tied up, he could be anywhere in the town, or possibly already gone.
The Town square had a small well at the center and a empty box with a walky talky device with a sign that said 'Use me!. Tomha was hidden somewhere in the town with his weapon ready.
(Oh man that bites, I only got this and a ps2.)

"So how strong do you think this demon is?" Altair asked. "well it's not a normal grunt if it takes hostages, and besides that guy used the singular not plural and grunts move in masses, maybe it's a tracker, if so it'll be hard for use too sneak up on it". "What do you mean us?" Altair asked, he understood how it would be hard for Dimitri or anyother god but why would it be difficult for him, he was human. "Well that arm and eye I gave you contains a small portion of my magical powers so too a tracker you'd be about a demi-god at best, but you wouldn't feel human" Dimitri explained. "That let's hope it's not a tracker" Altair said simply. They walked into the outskirts of the town. Altair kept his mechanical arm under his cloak, he wouldn't give anything on it until a fight came.

Tomha saw them with his sniper scope. "There here...oh man...two gods verses one me...this can be pretty nasty if I let this out of hand." He thought quietly to himself as he hid inside the church, it was the largest building of the ruins. "Hmm I can just snipe one off and try to take the other alive... if I actually do it, then...I can be free." He chuckled as he waited for them to come close so they can talk through the Walky Talky devices. He wasn't going to reveal himself obviously to avoid being shot while they were talking.

Altair saw the walkie talkie. "trap?" He asked looking back at Dimitri. "most likely" Dimitri anwsered. Altair walked over and picked up the walkie talkie. "is anyone there" He asked speaking lowly into the mouthpeice.

He heard him and responded. THe device was loud enough for Altair and Dimitri to hear. "About time you two showed up. I told that guy to get me a god, but he brings me 2 gods? Guess he thought I was a good master." He said pausing for a moment.
"Well I guess no matter what I am getting my dream come true. It's nothing personal, I just gotta do this. THankfully I actually found gods without using a tracker, smart move on my part. Those trackers would kill me after I do the hard work and take all the credit after all, even though my hired tracker was ment to show up but I guess he found work elsewhere. You just can't trust anyone in this line of work." He said sarcasticly at the last statement and they heard his gun being loaded.
"So anyway I got a human hostage so let's play my way, drop your weapons and throw them down that well there if you don't mind." He whispered not showing any hint of where he was.

"well let me just set you stright...I'm human, and even if we drop our weapons" He looked around just throught his metal eye in thermal mode, Demons existed in two plans of heat, extreme heat, or extreme cold. "we're never unarmed" he said and dropped his revolver. Dimitri set his warhammer down and unslung his shotgun then tossed it on the ground. "ok, now what, you just gonna shoot me and my friend now?" He asked, he looked and saw a heat signature that wasn't human which he knew as this demon he was talking too. He wave his right hand, smirking abit. "Hi..." He said then dropped the talkie.

He saw him waving, there was no hint of where the other human was. Tomha hid him using his holy magic to keep people from tracking the human down. "Hmm so you know where I am, then you know I'm not using a human shield. Well there is a hostage somewhere, maybe I'll tell you if you can beat me, maybe I'll stay quiet."
He said loudly enough for them to hear as he opened a window and sat on the silt. "As I said, I'll kill one and spare the other. But since only one of you is a god, I can't risk my first plan, to bring my client a dead and living god." He sighed, "So....god boy, how about you come with me, I let the hostage and your friend go alive then? My client only wants to experiment on you. I doubt you could take me on your own easily. I'm alot stronger then a normal demon, I even use holy magic. I mean, how rare is that? Heck even I'm mistaken for a god for using magic I probably should not be able to so I struggle alot in hell to survive." He said holding his sniper rifle, he was ready to fire their weapons away, he'd shoot the revolver first.

"Well it would certainly make things alot cleaner...but why would your client want too experiment on a human such as I...I'm sure he'd prefer a actual god" Altair said, he rolled too the side and snatched up his revolver. At the same time Dimitri's hands erupted into a flame he swung his hands sending two waves of fire at the demon. His hands ceased burning and he picked up his weapons. Both took cover behind buildings. They each began too manuver approaching the building the demon had been in.

He He fell back creating a barrier to resist the fire blasts. "THat was a dirty shot! I thought good guys were suppose to fight fair!" He shouted jokingly. He waited for a moment and prepared at a different window to shoot at them from the church. "Well if your going to hide, then I'll just burn the entire town down." He said as he threw a white fireball at random houses infront of him trying to force them out from the smoke. All his magic was holy oriented, this was his main strength, and at the same time weakness with it mainly only making him able to use many defensive spells and very few offensive.
(He's like a healer/buffer oriented character if you label characters XP)
