Recks gave a small laugh, "at least I saved you from falling on your face," he grinned, but it still bore that self-contiusness. Small-town boy just couldn't get over all of,...this!

Then, Joanne had come over, and in his nervouseness, he found the upbeat part of him, which served as a fun front. He let Bret reply first, then he made his own introductions.
"Hiya! I'm Recks. Recks Aldwin," He gave a little wave. "Aspiring singer and guitarist, if one couldn't guess, haha!" he pointed over his shoulder at his guitar with a thumb, before giving that cute little-boy grin once more.

Bret smiled gratefully at the blond man. At least he was good-natured about it. It would have been just her luck to get some angry actor.

She glanced up when Joanne walked over with no doubt a 'deer in the headlights' look. Ooh, this was getting better and better. She grinned, blushing and chuckled. Well, no way to go back in time now. Might as well just roll with it.

The blond guitarist introduced himself to the aged interviewer. So Recks was his name. Ah, now it was her turn!! Mature. Classy. Sophisticated. She repeated those over in her head before speaking.

"Ah, I appreciate that, Joanne! Nothing like a great first impression. I'm Bret Andrews, an aspiring stage actress."

She left it at that for now. Better not include her choreographer dream as well. That trip earlier would make certain the only thing she was hired for was choreographing prat falls and mime acts.

Recks Aldwin & Bret Andrews
Recks Aldwin and Bret Andrews. She hadn't heard of either of them before, but they both had lovely stage names! She quickly skimmed the guest list to find their names and seating assignment. "Well that's just lovely," she said, not caring. "If you don't mind, I'll give you your seating assignments and then ask you a few quick questions? Okay, that's great." She didn't really care to wait for their answer, they didn't really have much of a choice. "Recks, you will be sitting with...ew, LIzzy Nohand. Make sure she doesn't snort anything at the table." She gave a look at the cameraman to let him know to delete that. "And you, Bret, will be seating with the queen herself, Vadgonna." This should be interesting. "Now, for the fun part. Are any of you two working on anything at the moment or have anything planned? Have you two met previously? Are you dating? Have you met anyone in particular at your time here with the Walk of Fame agency? Who would you say is your role model?"

Recks made a face as she told him where he was to be sitting. He detested drugs, and druggies, whole heartedly.

Recks hopped right in with the answers, using his hyperness in face of nervousness.
"I've writing a few songs - just got done with one the other day. Working on the guitar for it, currently, and uh -- I've never met this woman in my life, so ummm, no. I've met a couple people ummm -- Riley and uhh,.." he couldn't think of the other girls name. "Well,..I've mostly stayed at home workin' on stuff. My role model? That'd have to be my dad -- he's the one that encouraged me to come to the agency in the first place."

Bret blinked at the barrage of questions and the news that she'd be sitting next to Vadgonna herself. Oh boy. But back to the questions.

"Well, I'm not working on anything at the moment, just getting to know the agency and get my bearings."

She flashed a 'girl next door' smile and continued.
"I'm hoping that I'll be working on something soon, but in the meantime, it's been fun getting to meet everybody!"

She avoided the next two questions, seeing as how Recks already handled those.

"I've met quite a few others who are new to the agency. It's great to see so much talent."

There was one more question, wasn't there... Ah yes! Role models.
"I have quite a few role models, actually. Doris Day and Bob Fosse come quickly to mind."

She flashed a bright smileand waited for Joanne to dismiss them so she could go in.

Recks Aldwin & Bret Andrews
Wonderful. Simple sweet answers, all that was needed to fill some air time, if they made the cut. "Thank you that will be all, you can go on in now," Joanne said, trying to form a smile. She felt some of the botox near her jaw crack. Oh crap, now half her face was smiling, the other half wasn't. Hopefully she won't be stuck that way. She quickly turned away from Recks and Bret and the camera, then shooed them inside with a few flicks of her wrist. She quickly fixed her face, then scouted around for her next victim - that Egyptian girl, wherever she went.

Riley Daima
Aha! There was the precious Egyptian beauty, sticking out of the crowd pretty well in her exotic dress. Joanne hurried on over to her, excited for the interview. "Hello there!" she said in a high-pitched cheerful voice. "You were so lovely on Stars and Starlets, simply stunning. You are quite unforgetable Miss....what's your name again?" She said that last part in a whisper, hoping the camera won't catch it.

Riley's smile didn't even faulter as the blonde reporter didn't remember her name. Why should she really be suprised?

"Riley," she promped demurly. "Daima. Thank you very much," she said, louder than she had her name. She emphasied her accent a little more than normal, hoping to make an impression on anyone watching. "But I wouldn't have been half as good if I hadn't had such a great partner." She flashed a brilliant white smile to the camera. She had only agreed to show up in this getup for exposure, and she was certainly going to make the most of any time she had on air.

"An excellent partner indeed!" she agreed enthusiastically. She raised her eyebrows in excitement. She felt her forehead crack a little. Zip Afron was one of Joanne's secret crushes. She loved young men, as long as they were old enough, of course. Its why she had to keep herself so beautiful! "What was it like dancing with Zip Afron? Did you two connect well at all? Romantically? Did you want to pursue a romance with him? Are you seeing anyone? Any other things planned for you, Miss Riley Daima?" She said the name loudly to act as if she had known the name the whole time.

Riley laughed good naturedly. "Well, of course it was a huge honor and an amazing experiance to be partnered with such a talented dancer like Zip." Even though she had had no idea who he was before the competition, she had to at least give him credit. He had known his stuff. "I think we connected very well, we have very good chemistry, on and off stage, which I'm sure was shown in our brief time onstage."

Another dazzling smile as she carefully answered the question. "Well, I think that Zip is seeing one of his costars from a previous movie, and I would never think of moving in on a taken man." In all honesty, she had found him just a little boring anyway. "And no, I'm not seeing anyone, but I haven't been in the country very long, so who knows, right?" she winked coyly at Joanne.

As for the last question. "Well, I have a few auditions for some music video back up dancing, but I also have one lined up for a ballet audition, so here's hoping they like me!"

This girl certainly knew how to answer her questions. Did she practice all that? Joanne tried to smile, only able to slightly lift the corner of her lips. "Yes, best of luck to you on your auditions!" she said warmly. She then grabbed the guest list and the seating chart, quickly spotting Riley's name. "You lucky girl! You are going to be seated at a table with Chad Mitt and Angelica Molie! You know, I think they adopted a child from your country." She wasn't quite sure about that fact, but they had over thirty kids, one of them must be Egyptian, right? After all, isn't it a continent?
From there, her mind wandered off, thinking about what little she knows about Egypt.. She wondered if mummification worked as a good substitute for plastic surgery and botox. Wasn't the whole thing about preserving the body? Joanne made a mental note to look into that as she breezed past Riley, letting her free to go inside.

"Thank you very much," Riley said and waved as Joanne walked away.

She breathed a sigh of relief. Among his few emails that he had sent, Zip had, in fact, sent her some prep-questions and how to answer them.

Answer honestly, but not straightforward. If you can answer without answering, or without making it sound like you think negativly of something, then you'll do fine. he had said, and it turned out he was right. If she had time and could get near him, she'd have to thank him.

Now to disappear into the nobodies and find her friends.

Ana Cruz waiting for her chauffeur to open the door of the black stretch limousine, then slowly stepped out of the car, one foot at a time, flashing a little leg along the way. She stood up from out of the car and began her poses. It was just like modeling - well, it was modeling. But this time, she was herself, not whoever the photographer told her to be. She wore her own style of clothing, not what she was being paid to wear. A silky sexy black and red dress with slits in all the right places. Her hair tied up in a tight bun with golden earrings, bangles and and stilettos. She knew how to rock the celebrity look, and she had, through inheritance, all the money she needed to pull it off.

Ana Cruz
Who the hell was that? She looked gorgeous, but what a shame that she's so...unknown. Though she may get some media attention for her high-fashion attire, she probably won't get much more attention than that. Joanne made her way over to the new girl. "Wow, you look positively stunning!" She felt a little crack in her nose. Oh, god. Not her nose. "What is your name? What do you do?" she asked, trying to hide her nervousness that her face may fall off at any moment now. "Wait, let me guess, you are a model! You certainly have the looks for one." Joanne hated the b***h. Natural beauty. Hrmph.

"Yes, I'm a model," she said with a small, constantly practiced, smile. Big enough to be noticeable, small enough to not cause laugh lines. "My name is Ana Cruz, I've been a model at Walk of Fame for quite a while. Most recently I was photographed in the summer fashion line for Cosmopolitan magazine, and I have a few auditions lined up for several other magazines and a catwalk. And thank you, I selected the dress myself and did my own make up." She then flashed a bright smile to the camera, showing off her brilliantly white teeth.

"Yeah, well that's just ******** fabulous for you," she retorted. "Erase that!" She started to scream at the cameraman. Her eyebrows cracked some more, getting stuck with an angry expression on her face. "Look, Miss Cruz, your sitting with..." She tore the list from her assistant's hands. "Angelica Molie and Chad Mitt. Go have fun." She turned away. s**t, that little stint could bite her in the a**. "I'm sorry, just having a rough day." Part of her chin fell to the ground. "Clearly." She quickly kicked the part of her chin away and marched off to get an emergency face lift.
