The mention of the Enclave made Rosemary side glance a moment. Thinking about that moment she actually saw the enclave brought back a memory she would rather like to forget. Her attention was brought back to Liam, who seemed to know her son very well from a young age, and she was glad for it. Following that Fjord, who she was thrilled knew Rainbow. Rosemary had been under the impression that Rainbow did not like music due to his dislike for it when he was younger, but she smiled thinking that her son still had a bit of his father in him that he could not escape. “I’m very relieved and thankful that you all know him. I did not know my son was so very popular and with such kind Sentinels. I would appreciate the company.” Even when she said this, she wondered about how she would be received, and her head lowered a moment. “I just hope he won’t be angry. I didn’t exactly warn him I was coming.” The last time she showed up was not a pretty memory, and she didn’t know if having more Sentinels about would make it worse or better. “…but I’m sure with all of his friends showing up, things will be just fine.” She hoped.

"Hazel's back, and she's helping me watch a few Shadow eggs I've been incubating." Liam purposefully ignored Cloverfield's double entendre, eartufts shrinking back a teensy bit in embarrassment. It was no secret he wanted eggs of his own, but sometimes it was a bit awkward being discussed in public- he wasn't sure of Clover's views on career females, and hoped she wasn't criticizing him. "And it's not so bad, really- our particular group has been growing larger all the time, so there's always enough of us to mind the little ones. And even a few have gone to new homes- RainbowChaser has adopted a little one of his own, you know," he confided to Rosemary. "I wouldn't mind visiting her, if I could come along as well." He was frightening himself a bit- he'd never been this malicious before. But he didn't trust Sly, and checking on the fledgling would certainly be for the good of the clan- and the Enclave! If Sly was proving to be a bad father, it would look badly on all involved.

Fjord's eartufts lifted in mild amusement as he listened to the chatter. Sly had taken on a fledgling? He couldn't help but to be curious, as he never saw the self-loving Sly to play "papa" towards a fledgling. It just didn't seem right. Sure, Rosemary was probably right. Sly would be angry at all of them coming, that was unavoidable...
But a fledgling? He just had to see this for himself.
"Really now, has he Liam? Wow, Rainbowchaser a father..."

Clover ignored Liam's concerns right back. She hadn't meant any harm, of course, and was simply glad to hear the family was together again. "That's good to hear. It's always nice when a young one finds a new home." She blinked, looking around. "Is this Rainbowchaser not the kind that would be a father usually?" She felt a little off, not knowing whom they were talking about. Maybe she'd figure it out if she kept listening. If not, she would simply ask Sly later.
A boom of noise made her sit back a bit more. No, not going anywhere yet, it seemed, and she watched a moment as the rain rolled off the sheltering tree's far branches.

Rosemary was deep in thought as the others chatted, momentarily lapsing in silence at the news of RainbowChaser’s adoption. She had had the deepest hope he would find someone of his own and raise a family as any mother would hope, and also to alleviate the guilt that he would not later be somehow hindered from the past to mate with someone. Adoption was the next best thing, that he was looking for a family, but she wished he had a mate. Not too many Sentinels adopted without a mate of their own. Still, her thoughts were hopeful that he would find one, if he hadn’t already.
“Oh, he has.” Rosemary felt a sting at being disconnected from RainbowChaser’s life that she only found out about the adoption from strangers. “That sounds wonderful. I had wished he would become a father. Does he have a mate? No. I’ll find out shortly when we go to speak with him. I have plenty to catch up on when we arrive.” If he allowed her a conversation.
Her eyes looked above and she watched as the remnants of the storm went passing by. Already she felt eager to fly off to meet her son.
