"You seem... a bit distracted." Gethin commented softly, his head falling to the side curiously as he surveyed the helix before him. His tail swept across the ground, lightly kicking up dust. "Is something on your mind?" He repeated.

" Is something on your mind?" She asked him. She would try to get out of it. Ho could she be such a coward she knew Gethin, and she knew he would do it for her then why? Blindness must be tamproing with her brain. She hoped for him to ask one more time.. then she would maybe spit it out.

Gethin smiled lightly. "I believe I asked you first, Kega." He sat down, exhaling softly. "I wish you would tell me if something was bothering you..." Perhaps asking one more time would not hurt? "Is something on your mind?"

Asking one more time did hurt. She looked at his general direction. Just looked. Blindly as she always would. She had no idea how to say this but she knew it must be fast and simple. If she made it complex she would stutter and not get anything done. So her lips curved around the words " Gethin... I'm sick of being blind. " It was simple but she wanted to take it back. Her stomach churned.

Pausing lightly, Gethin watched her for a moment. Truth be told, her remark had both surprised and hadn't surprised him. "I am sorry..." He admitted softly. For he was sorry--that he couldn't be more help. But he couldn't... could he? "Is there.. something I might do to remedy that?"

" I'm sorry Gethin for that... Never mind... " She said simply. She gave a deep sigh. How could she ask him to remove her blindfold? She would be hidious under neath and she knew it. She flicked her tail and let her wings go up and down a bit.

Gethin's ears perked, surveying her. He didn't want to simply drop it... This was important, why else would she seem so.. disappointed? But he could not force it out of her... Hopefully all he had to do was wait. Sighing softly as well, he leaned forward to gently touch her shoulder. "If you truly do not have anything to ask me, then perhaps we should turn back. Twilight is starting to break..."

" Gethin... " She said softly. She had no idea what to ask. Help me take my blindfold off? That would be pathetic. But her head spun, she wanted to ask him those exact words... But why would it be so difficult. 2 simple things but not so simple. More like life changing.

At hearing his name, Gethin turned to look at Kega. He approached slowly, until he was near her once again. "Yes, Kega..?" He asked softly.

Kega's skin turned warm around her cheek area. She ducked her head a bit and couldn't mouth the words. She knew he was close his scent was so strong... Like she always smelt it almost dead. " Would you... do something for me... Gethin... " She said. She could barely contain herself. How could she get herself out of this? She couldn;t.

Gethin remained silent for a moment, staying observant. Why was she stuttering? ..It was about this time Gethin finally seemed to realize just how close he was to her, but chose to not move away. He smiled lightly, inhaling softly. "Of course... What do you wish for?"

Kega once agian moved her head up. Her nose was as close as it could get to his since he was so much larger then her. She was silent for a moment and said " Gethin I've always wanted to be able to see the world, I don't care how and if you do but... I.. I... want you to remove this blind fold, let me see your world." She said. Her stomach flipped her jaw was clenched and she felt her joints locking.

Gethin blinked his amber eyes, partially stunned by her request. Now he had understood why it was hard for her to ask: she had been blind for a good portion of her life. Vaguely, he wondered what that must feel like; to be restricted of one or your senses, only to have it returned. Though, what if his appearance scared her off, like it had so many others? But he had to throw caution into the wind, and do this for her. Returning from the depths of his thoughts, Gethin smiled with a new emotion; he leaned down, gently touching his nose to hers.
"I would be glad to." He reached around, the fur on the side of his face gingerly brushing against her as he located the straps that kept the blind in place. Gently-and being mindful of his fangs-he bit both and tugged slightly, satisfied when he heard the snap of the lines breaking. Slowly, he pulled the useless blind away and slowly set it into the ground, remaining silent.

Kega had held her breath her hole time. His fur was soft against hers and the wind brushed her. She didn't even hear the snap of the band she jusst felt the wind touch her eye lids. Her eyes had remained closeed, most of her life. A long scar crossed over her left eye and it tingled. Silence made her sick. She finally opened up her eye and winced as the light poured in and beautiful clear blue eyes showed behind the scar, the blind, and her eye lids. She jaw was clenched as she blinked a few times. Finally she looked at Gethin and gasped. She couldn't help it. Her eyes soften. Looking around. She had no idea were she had been and it was clear now. Gethin to her wasn't scary, Gethin to her was beautiful and she looked at everything about him and then at his eyes. She as so quiet almost like she had become mute but not. Her eyes were a bit red from irritation and the blind was tossled on the ground in the wind.

Gethin upheld the silence, watching as she slowly opened her eyes. The color of her hidden eyes made his heart leap in his chest, and made him smile softly. Hearing her gasp made him faulter slightly. Though she hadn't run off, infact, that look on her face... He trailed off, smiling once more. "Is my world to your liking, Kega..?" He spoke softly, finally breaking the silence. Mentally, he noted the irritated redness in her eyes. Since she wasn't used to the sand yet, it would be best to get back to the pack soon...
