Ninja_mule I'm going to learn how to make me a Jayne hat. There are guides all over the internet mrgreen My friend has a Jayne hat, it looks so good, the only thing missing are the bits of straw hanging of the sides. he wore it when we went to a preview of Serenity. It was awesome. pirate

I absolutly adore Jayne. He seems like such a simple character, but he is really complex. My favorit part of him is his reaction to Kaylee. He just can't understand how someone could be so sweet and innocent. He is repulsed by it and makes fun of her often, but he also has a strange urge to protect it and thus her. I think he would die for Kaylee, but no one else, maybe.

Like in Serenity (the pilot episode not the movie) when Kaylee is being tended to in the infermary and he is outside, kneeling down outside looking in through the window. I think he is chewing his nails at the time.
