heart So it wasn't really his fault I guess, but my friend kind of pissed me off. He made note of my um... status... or lack thereof... and recommended that I might use a foreign website to get one of those overseas women who wants to come into America. AKA:MAIL ORDER BRIDE! Personally I thought the idea was pretty f**cked up. But the real f**cked up part... was realizing it was probably the only way it would ever happen. And in the end they would just do what every other woman has done. Wait till I go to Iraq again, clear out the bank, and leave.
But seriously, my already sh**ty day could have been a lot less sh**ty if he hadn't said that. heart

heart OMG... unmarked cars are so EVIL! So I was speeding like I normally do, about 80 on a 65. This SUV comes up behind me and I'm like, whatever.
Then it flashes red and blue lights, and I'm like... F**K!
I admitted to speeding. They told me to slow down. No ticket = yay! heart

heart Just wanted to say, in light of the upcoming movie 2012... don't buy into the hype. Yes, it's about the end of the world. Oh like the whole universe is going to bend to the will of a calendar that says time ends on that date. I think not. They say the Mayan calendar was precise in accounting for dates and times. Well so does our calendar, it ends this year... is it the end of the world december 31st? I don't think so.
There are over 200 books available about the end of the world on 2012. They talk about Mayan predictions, dark spots in space, Planet X. But it's all BS. Funny thing about doing your research. Those 200+ books share almost the same sources, about 7 or so as cited. Do the research on the sources, and you will find them to share the same single source. Pretty much one guy, who looked at the calendar, though up some wild ideas about how he 'thought' it might mean the end of the world and his story received a lot of attention when he wrote about it.
Planetary alignment. Don't worry about it. Can't happen. Not a sinle planet or body in our galaxy has enough power to infulence any other body, with the exception of the sun (which is still limited) and the moons of various planets. There is no force whatsoever (as NASA confirms) that would allow the planets to interact, regardless of alignment. We've had planetary alignments before. But the media doesn't talk about those because it would dry up the story that one would wreak havok now.
A moving black spot in space. This even made the news as it appeared a large black mass was moving through space. Also, Nasa confirms that the intrument that was recording that sector at the time was damaged, and a small part of the tube was unable record, explaining the fixed black spot. This is perfectly logical seeing as how the black spot was ALWAYS moving with the telescope. But the media didn't mention that part because then your average person would realize it wasn't a big deal.
Oh, and planet X is NASAs classification for any body they have yet to give a name or classification to. There have been many of these bodies over the years. The only reason they bring up planet X with 2012, is to use it as a scare tactic. For any Planet X to exist, a body has to exist and be recorded as per NASAs database. There is no such body in NASAs database that is anywhere near on its way to earth, or out system.
Bottom line: The media likes to make money. If they can scare you with loose facts and incomplete data to make you watch a movie and buy a story, just like in 2000, they will. heart
