Angeline Locke was in her Night Uniform, unfortunately. She had to be for classes. This dumb uniform and all those to follow in her life were her own personal prison. Ignoring her discomfort, she lit a cigarette and hung it loosely from her lips as she got her books for class and put them in her white mail-carrier bag. She may have hated being in this uniform, but she didn't want to be ridiculed for 'not matching' either. So she got the white bag to avoid future confrontations with some airheads.

A new night, the same old crap with the gate opening and tons of screaming girls that wanted to get into the pants of the Male Night students. She sighed and continued on, the cigarette hanging loosely in her lips. She sighed dejectedly as she passed one particularly loud girl who wouldn't shut her yapping howler about how one of the boys looked at her. She kept her cool and continued on, fighting the powerful urge to rip the girl to shreds.

"I'd rather not talk about it." He sighed and ran a hand through his silver hair. "Basically what we get to do is walk around the grounds and make sure all of those damn girls did go back to thier dorm..." All of a sudden he grunted in pain as Yuuki began punching him in his side.

"Watch your mouth!"

He shoved her an arms length away and glared.
"I'll say whatever the hell I want." He gave Chris a bit of an annoyed look, but the annoyance wasn't directed at him. "This is Yuuki. Yuuki, this is Christopher. Let's get this stuff over with."

Lasali's eyes flitted up through her long bangs as she took a seat in the classroom. There were some semi-familer faces. She was sure that she had met all of the vampires here somewhere sometime before. Sighing, she pretty much ignored the lecture and fliped through her text book.

He cracked a small smile at their little scuffle.

" Text book guys...grade A textbook. Well I can't waste my time arguing about what the FCC allows. I'm on patrol catch you around."

He did a smile salute/wave to them as he stuff his hands in his pockets and began walking perimeter. The air was chilly, but not enough to really phase him. He preferred the cold at times, watching his breath drift away into the atmosphere. He made his way to the classes the night school kids would occupy and took a peak into the window on the side. There they were, a good handful of the dreadful creatures. He watched for a bit, astonished to see they actually went out of their way to pretend to study. He shook his head in disbelief at the nerve of the parasitic monsters, resuming his patrol around the perimeter.

Angeline wrote down notes during the class. Most of the 'notes' were just doodles she thought were funny as she listened to the teacher droll on. She already knew most of this, she was just humoring the teacher. She flipped the pages of the textbook when she was supposed to, and even answered a few of the questions when called on. She always got them right. She leaned her head into a palm as she drifted in thought for a moment or two. She looked at the class. Nothing ever changes with them. Everyone looks exactly the same. But wait a minute... There was a new girl. She remembered something about a new girl arriving soon, but she didn't expect this soon. She cocked an eyebrow in interest before returning to drifting in thought.

She could feel the eyes of the others in class, but she ignored them. It was typical. That was... until it felt like a different set of eyes was starring. Her own crimson eyes darted to the window where she had felt the gaze... Only Kaname was there, leaning against a set of selves, reading his book. But it wasn't his eyes... sighing as they waited for the ethics teacher to now enter and teach, Lasali preoccupied herself with braiding her long raven hair over to one side.
*******

All was well as Chris went about his patroling. This was really more of a chance for him to explore the grounds unhindered.

Chris was rather relaxed about the ordeal at this point. If all he had to do was walk around acting like he was doing something, and not have to interact with monsters. He was sure the next two years would be a breeze compared to training. He might even start taking a few classes to expand his horizons, or just to occupy time.

He pulled out a pack of cigarettes, raising one out of the top and pretended it was a radio.

" This is Vbane radioing in to fairy jumper, the pancakes are tucked in for the night and the leeches are gaining new insight on how to kill us. Resuming patrol over delta 42 0 niner kiss my @$$...what kind of drugs was he on when he decided this school was a good idea i wonder."

He kept the makeshift radio to his face, continuing to be slightly obnoxious to help pass the item as he patrolled.

" giggle pooky this is vbane how is the west wing over...roger that, agent zero resume mine placement and secure the donuts for the rest of the staff. File the receipts for said pastries under D for donut over..."

He stopped, looking at the dorms for the night students. He though about taking a quick peek inside, but decided against it.

" Fairy jumper we have confirmed skeletons in the students closets, enacting termination protocol 42 alpha. We need the miniguns asap over."

He continued to explore the grounds a bit more, only radio talking when there was nothing to really see in certain parts of his patrol.

Angeline's gray eyes scanned the room as her mind wandered in boredom. Nothing really special to take note of. Some of the other female students were busy chatting like girls do, while the guys were busy goofing off in their own way. She was content with just continuing as she was. She still could not help but look over at the new girl from time to time. Things around here were always boring and never changing, it was good to see a fresh face in the crowd. Perhaps Angeline would confront her later, perhaps not. Either way, perhaps this girl would shake things up in her droll world. That'd sure be nice...

The room went still as the new ethics teacher entered. They all knew him- it was Kouga Yagori, the infamous vampire hunter. "..." Lasali's eyes glared at him, loathing the hunters as much as any vampire would. The session could prove to be VERY interesting.

Chris finally made it all the way around the perimeter, the area was beyond secure, it didn't seem like many of the students were looking for trouble, but of course he thought his presence was probably what was keeping them from wandering around alone at night. HE decided to take a break and watch the night class for a bit, just to humor himself again. The vampires were fake beyond belief, acting like pacifists and diplomats, he thought their efforts were at least worth a good laugh. Nothing prepared him for what he saw when he arrived though. His master...teaching?

" What the h*** is he doing teaching ethics to a bunch of vampires? Wait a minute...a full scale raid? This whole prefect thing was a cover? This is my pennance wiping out an entire classroom worth of vamps?"

He continued to look into the window and in utter shock, they listened despite the evil glares their unscrupulous teacher received. He actually made it through a lesson, and was about to close his book when a dagger flew at him. He flicked his wrist and blocked it with teh utmost grace. He stared with a slight smile on his face.

" I thank you lot for the gift."

Chris watched him walk out, replacing his .500 revolver back in its hidden holster. He faced away from the window, trying to figure out why on earth his mentor would tutor the enemy. If knowledge is power, why give it to your adversary?

Angeline couldn't believe that this man was their teacher. She sighed and listened to him teach despite her race's resentment boiling within her. It's not that she herself hated him, it was more of a natural hatred and fear of his kind. Hunters, that is. She doodled away and took notes when needed, though not many were needed. When the dagger was thrown, she mentally face-palmed. 'Really?? Why would someone be so childish...' She thought to herself as she stretched while the teacher left.

Standing to stretch as well, she did her best to keep to herself. As her eyes wandered again, they landed on the boy just outside the window... It was the same boy from earlier. 'Why am I so intrigued by this human?' she wondered as she took a few steps closer, but stopped when she spotted Kaname Kuran glancing between the boy outside, his book, and her. Bowing her head out of respect and embarassmant, Lasali retook her seat.

He saw Kaname observing him, and quickly made his way back towards the main entrance of the grounds.

" Those eyes, that demeanor, hes not a standard one hit wonder...something else. The papa smurf figure."

He felt a slight pinching sensation in his chest, not enough to make he recoil, but enough to be annoying. When he was well distanced from Kaname, it subsided quickly, and he coughed a few times.

" What the h*** was that!? Like being strangled by a weak midget."

He held his throat as if it were wounded, but then relaxed once more. He would have to find out more about this Kaname they all seemed to worship, he hadn't been told much about the circles, but he knew about the vampire hierarchy, and their customs. Kaname was something outside of that realm, a rare breed. Even the ancient vampires do not get respect that easily or that often.

Angeline looked over and saw Kaname. She did respect him, that much was clear, yet she still didn't really care. She wished there wasn't some dumb hierarchy among the Vampires, but then again.. It had served their society well in the past, why get rid of it now? That would just cause an uproar and there would be much blood spilled. She shrugged and finished stretching, taking a seat as she sighed dejectedly once more. She wanted so badly for something interesting to happen, but didn't want to be the one to cause it. Oh well. She supposed she would have to return to studies while she waited for something entertaining.

When it became apparent the next teacher was a no show, Lasali gathered her things and left quickly, much to the surprise of the rest of the class. She hurried down the corridor of the building, outside and skidded to a halt next to a water fountian.
"What am I doing?" she muttered, holding her books to her chest and rubbing her forehead. "The dorm is that way... I think?" With a dejected sigh, her shoulders slumped. "Great. I'm lost... on the first day."

" It's a giant V. It's kind of hard to get lost, especially when you should be observing the rules and not skipping out on required classes. Since it's both of our first days, and I'm not in too terrible of a mood, I'll take you to the night class dorm, but don't thank me or anything."

Chris had watched her stumble out of her class and wander aimlessly in the dark like she was blind. He motioned for her to follow him, and in no time they were both back at the night class dorm.

" Personally I don't care why you are skipping, I mind my own business, but I would recommend not doing so in the future."

He didn't wave or say goodnight, but merely walked away, a sense of loathing came from him.
