All of a sudden Sacheil jumps up and runs away, even though he seemed to have the upper hand. he is gone so quickly that no one can even see him. the only thing left is the two of them and a strange, black object the same color as sacheils armor. (no it is not a bomb and it isnt godmodding if we take control of charecters from other RP's for Only a short time. This is the random RP. ANYTHING could happen.)

“Yes I supposed it would help if I didn’t let him touch me, but then again that wasn’t me.” The Leo that stood there fell off starting to glitch on the ground. A man in robe came out of the woods, his face covered by the hood of the robe. “Next time he should pay a little more attention to the one he’s fighting, and I really should fix that glitch.”The robed man looked down at the ground. “The name’s Leo,” as he looked back at the wolf. “Would you care to visit my city, it is not very far from here."

Deep in the cool dark of Homestead, Latos stood watching all that went on in his world. Every one of his twenty screens showcased a different part of the planet, then moved on to the next piece in its cycle. For ten years Latos had watched the screens, knowing everything and interpreting it the way he had been taught. He knew to watch everything.

For the past few days, however, one particular screen had been bothering him. It showed the movements of Sachiel and Frolas, Sachiel's designated parole officer. He quietly watched the battle between Frolas, Sachiel, and the angel and frowned.

"Get e bead on the conversation between the angel and Frolas," he said to his tech.

"Y-yes sir." New techs, thought Latos. Not worth what they're paid.

"Got it, sir."

"Good. Now get me a readout of the egg." The tech nodded and, grabbing some headphones from him, Latos settled down into his comfy leather and listened.

Before Latos could even start listening in, the tech jumped and shouted.

"SIR!"

"What?" shouted back a frazzled Latos.

"I lost the signal on the device!"

"Well, get it back then, dammit! I don't have all day to watch you flounder around at your console!"

"N-no, sir, it's something different. Sachiel has picked up the device and broken any connection we could have possibly made with it. We have no record, new data, or idea of this thing." The tech shifted nervously in his seat.

Latos sat still, leaning forward with his furrowed in thought. "So, what you're saying is that Sachiel has a potentially dangerous object in his possession and we have no idea what it is, therefore leaving Frolas like a sitting duck for another ambush?"

The tech swallowed. "Y-yes, sir."

Latos sat back in his chair, still deep in thought. He rubbed his shaven chin and said, "Is there any way we could regain the signal?"

"Yes. Our sensors work through minerals in the ground. If Sachiel leaves the device on the ground long enough then we can investigate it with the signal."

"Very well. Wait until he puts it down, then get it figured out."

"Yes sir."

The smell of smoke deterred Frolas from her conversation with Leo. "Do you smell that?"

The bird-man just looked around, frowning.

Frolas used her nose to sensor in on the offending smell. "This direction! Let's go!" She ran, morphing back to wolf form as she did so.

Super penguin!
