Flat out love them. I have a set of fangs that look so real when i'me wearing them most people can't tell. add that to a little pale foundation and soem eyliner and shadow, on a dark night. the whole feel is awsome. i rarely drink blood as i think i'm nto supposed to (it says nto to somewhere in the bible) btu i still love the whole though of it.

I'm quite a fangirl when it comes to Edward Cullen in "Twilight" and "New Moon".
x3 Even though I just started reading from her, I like Anne Rice books a lot.

Only Sapphire Megumata Ow dear.. I feel hatered towards my kind.. j/k Well there is something wrong with them.. only for those who belive in God that is.. For it's true that drinking an innocent ones blood is a sin.. Yet if your a vamp or not.. you can always belive in god.. And there are many ways to lesten the thurst, I myself am stuck with a class full christians .. and they all see me as the devils child..sometimes i wish it were true...some of them didnt even knew what a vamp was eek , I thank my goddess that they have seen that i'm not hell spawn..even though i do not share there belief.. the finally tread me normally.. exccept for the fact that i know a little groep of them talks behind my back.. but I couldnt care less.. for I just have to hiss or look evil at them and they hush, xp , Really In gods way.. a vampire would be described as a deamon.. a fallen angels a Satan himself, no matter how cool they are.. there always the ones.. who ******** disrespect what i stand for.. and i would be more than willing to teach them a lesson or 2 on how to behave, I do not parade the street showing of my teeth.. grabbing some unfortunate person and suck him dry.. that's just no style,, sertanly not for a lady.. lol xd LOL I hiss too! well I cut down on the hissing because people really did think I was demonic or something O.o
I usually (along with the aforementioned) just blurt out completely random made-up wordsso they can think I was speaking in tongues.
I actually got some Catholic priest dude to yell out the stereotypical "The power of Christ compels you!", then splashed 'holy' water in my face.
Of course it didn't help the situation any when I slapped the bowl from his hand and splashed it all over him, but it was fun nonetheless.

To add on to the topic, my favorite fictional vampires would have to be a tie between Jean-Claude and Nikolaos, from the Anita Blake - Vampire Hunter series of books by Laurell K. Hamilton.

Well, my mom always said that anything can "open doors" to let satan in, but then again this is the woman who has been reading me Stephen King since I was six. sweatdrop Vamps are just like the rest of the horror stories. They're fine if you see them as purely a ficticious form of entertainment, but if they begin to enter your life it can be a major "door opener". (Never get into the 'real' vampire scene. It will be deadly to your spiritual life.)
But I personally think Vamps are awesome. xd I love the stories, movies, and I love when I dream I'm a vampire. 3nodding I often joke I'm a half-vamp at least. I prefer the nighttime, I'm allergic to sunlight (i have sneezing fits every time I go out), and I CANNOT tan... I'm deathly pale and the sun burns me horendously... sweatdrop

Enjoying them is all well, but actually indulging in their actions such as lavishing in the taste of human blood and refraining from the glory of God will get you in trouble up there. What you really need is maturity on the subject. Keep your head clear and for the Lord.
You can like vampires, just don't let the concept consume your soul. This goes to everything else dismal and strange. A Christian Goth may have to work harder than most when it comes to Christhood, as their favorite fields can be full of evil and treachery.
We should be like the scientist studying the venomous insect. It fascinates him, but he doesn't indulge in its poison, or it would mean certain death. He knows what he's doing when handling such creatures. We should be the same with the uncanny subjects we love. Caution is the key word here.

Vampyres are wonderful. I enjoy their company quite a bit. Although some of their companions do not want me around. See, I'm a lykanthrope. In my case...werefeline.

x3 I swear those bastards ruined vampires entirely. the cirque du freak was allright although i was kind of disapointed with the whole lack of fangs. i still like my vampires traditional and evil with a good healthy dose of "killability" i thought the twilight vamps were (aside from many other detracting factors) too damned indestructible. i mean come on even sunlight dosen't phase them.

xion_sage_of_darkness vampires are fine and dandy.Now vampryres thats diffrent question vampires are a made up fictioins characters.Where in vampryes are a member of a relgion that does not bleve in god and practices blood drinking.The bible says drinking or eating the blood of another person or animal is a sin. Vampyres I think are doing nothing wrong the old testament says several things that would be atricoious today.Like stoning disobedient chilren.My view on that Verse is that in that time lots of desises were spread through raw meat and blood but today we reconise thouse desises.I have a christan vampyre friend and she is very kind and one of the most religious people I know that you very much.Being a Vampyre has NOTHING to do with religion.
