Draka listened to his words without ever really acknowledging his presence with his eyes. He stared at the far wall of the hut thinking and calculating his options.
"If you do not wish to set up a home in town, then you may create your own residence here within the camp. There are plenty of open tents, or if you wish to build one of your own then feel free. It will be your residents and if I cared about what goes on in there then that would make you a tenant and me the owner. So I don't care if you have a person over or not. Just don't bring anyone here who could jeopardize you, the faction or me. Speaking of which your next assignment came in."
Draka pulled out a small piece of rolled up parchment, "It says they need someone to sir up a little bit of trouble within the thieves hideout. Feel up to it Maverick?"

Maverick grinned "Of course im feeling up to it. what is it you wish for me to do? or do you wish to leave me to my own tools" he asked. "as far as homes i guess i can go buy one here. its hard to keep up with so many though. but i guess one more wont hurt"

Draka smiled he liked Maverick's enthusiasm quite a bit, "Just cause a ruckus and disrupt any plans they have going delay them just don't kill anyone. Harming them however harming them is more than welcome. The contract reward is a five hundred gold coin purse."
He knew Maverick was already in but he wanted Maverick to know what he was working for. "If you fail then we lose this generous customer." Draka smiled at him again, "But we both know you won't fail, don't we Maverick."

Maverick nodded "Oh dont worry..." he grinned before he was engulfed with a light glow. on the field this glow would not be recognizable or noticeable by anyone that wasnt in line of sight with him. After a few seconds the glow let out revealing his new form  "Ill be back in a few." he said as he vanished from the room

Draka smiled impress by his display and rocked back into his chair. He needed to speak with Tolendren but he was feeling at ease at the moment so he would wait a while before he disturbed the mage.

((a few hours later))
A crusader appeared before Draka. Once inside he revealed himself back into his original form. "Mission accomplished" he said "The Thieves guild is in flames at the moment, no casualties taken from the guild members that reside there but there was alot of structural damage enough to put them behind for a few days on whatever their plans are" he informed

Draka reached into a pocket of the many littering the overcoat he wore and withdrew the purse Maverick had just earned.
"Very good work my friend." Draka smiled, "Tell me now though. After being in their refuge what kind of resistance was there? I need to know weapons, magics, numbers."

They have a thief in there that is very fast. Before i had a chance to react he had already stabbed me in the neck. If i was made of real flesh and blood i might not be here right now. They have a mage it seems. She has some pretty good magic. she was able to lift a rock off the ground and kill one of my men with a single blow. Their reaction time however is slow. it took them a few minuets to react from the time we bursted in to the time we started setting the place on fire.

Draka chuckled, "I do believe that mage you are referring to is in our camp right now. I don't think she is a part of the thieves."
He said knowing about the girls presence inside his camp. "I don't know what she wants but she seems to be in need of something. Another newcomer Rayne is out there with her. I am sure things will be dealt with if she is an intruder but Rayne likes to play so go make sure nothing happens to the mage until I return, that is unless she is an immediate threat. Then gloves are off."
Draka smiled. "As off the rest of the information I am glad to have some bearing there now. I appreciate your diligent effort."

Maverick entered the room. He was a bit bored however he had alot of things going through his mind at the same time. "Draka you here?" he asked

Draka stood at the far end of the room looking out a window in the direction of the forest.
"Yes Maverick I am here, I am glad you came being one of the few here that I like and trust I decided that you should be the one to help me figure out how we should handle the new girl Rayne's betrayal."
He turned and looked at Maverick his eyes lost in thought though his face had a very stern tone to it.

Maverick thought for a moment "She ended up betraying us? How so?" he asked. he always wanted all the facts on such things before making such judgments.

Draka looked at him knowing exactly how he felt.
"The past few days she has been spending her time with a particular leech that tried his hardest to annihilate me and several other of the mercs within my faction. Now tell me if her allegiance was true don't you think she would be trying to kill him not swimming with him?"

"Swimming? Since when can vampires swim? Last i heard they were weakened by water because of the holy spell cast upon them by a powerful priest.... But not exactly, it depends young one. Perhaps she is inlove with this leech.Love makes you do crazy things after all. Is there any proof that they have been plotting against us at all?"
