┗━━━━━━━━━┛ ▇▇ ▇ ▇ Personality: Santos, despite his history, is a happy, kind dog. Since being rescued, his life has been filled with love and care from his owner, and he has learned to appreciate that and apply that good nature wherever he can.
Santos is a easy, gentle, laid back male. He enjoys relaxing, snoozing, and just being lazy as much, if not more, than he enjoys being active and on duty. He's got a good sense of humor, loves having fun, and can be a really nice dog to be around.
However, the combination of his past and his career have made him highly protective of those that are close to him. While generally laid back and gentle, Santos can turn deadly serious at the drop of a hat if the situation calls for it, and if he does, he can be dangerous. He is highly trained, very intellegent, and very strong. A formidable opponent.▇▇ ▇ ▇ Likes: Pups, relaxing, being on duty, his partner, the station, taking walks, jokes, friendly dogs▇▇ ▇ ▇ Dislikes: Threats, dangerous dogs, puppies in danger or abandoned, criminals, ignorance ▇▇ ▇ ▇ History: As a puppy, he was neglected by his owners. He was left without food or water, dropped into a trashcan, and forgotten. He was meant to die. If not in that trashcan, than on the streets, too weak to defend himself. On the dark streets with dogs that had only survival on their minds, his chances of living a full life were slim.
Luckily, a passing officer heard the cries of a small puppy, and he was fished out to safety. Despite looking worse-for-wear, the officer decided to keep the puppy and named him Santos - "Saint." He spent the rest of his puppyhood being loved and cared for, and devoted himself to the training that would allow him to partner with his human to fight against various crimes.
Now, Santos is a lead police dog and helps train other puppies looking to join the service. He's still partnered with his human, and lives with him in the rural neighborhood on Shady Grove Lane. ┏━━━━━━━━━┓
