"Me?" Neely asked almost surprised. "Uh...I like to play video and computer games, I do some of my own programming work. I like to read and fly as well. I'm a little more outdoorsey than most of my family, but that doesn't say much as I don't remember the last time a couple of my relations saw natural light outside of accidentally or walking to the shop."
He blushed slightly as she called him 'dear'. He was pretty sure it was just a general pet name that she called everyone, but he'd never been called that outside of his family. "I'm not very picky." he said. "I'll eat anything. I live in a big house, with a lot of other foxes, so its take what you can get sorta."

Emily listened, nodding her head lightly as she took in his likes. "How come they aren't outside folk?" Asking as she opened the door to the shop. She liked to learn about other foxes families and to see where they come from. Her tail flickered as she waited for him to enter. "Then how about something Italian? Maybe some home made Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo with some Cheese Toast on the side." She offered as she felt her mouth water at the thought of something like that. She hadn't made Italian in quite some time, but felt like it's never too late. She looked over at the wine rack as they entered the kitchen, smiling lightly. "Would you care for a glass or two while I cook?" Offering as she pulled out an aged red wine.

"Well Great-Grandpa is an AI so he's very much into computers and the like. Grandpa isn't an AI but he's a lot like Great-Grandpa so they spend most of their time together playing games and the like. Dad is sort of like the others, but he does whatever. The other parts of my family are either soldiers or engineers, or more AI with other interests besides outdoors."
Neely stepped inside quickly flicked his tail as he listened to her elaborate on dinner. "That sounds great~!" he said with his eyes lighting up slightly.
He watched her pull down the bottle then shook his head. "No thanks. I can't drink. I think its from being part of an AI strain...I have no tolerance for alcohol unless its cooked down. I tried a drink once and got really silly." he said embarrassed.

"Sounds like you have quite the large family, Neely." Emily spoke delicately as she put the wine bottle back and pulled out a bottle of organic orange juice. She poured him a little wine glass full of it then put some ice cubes into the same cup. "Wonderful! I'll get started then!" She said as she grasped her paws together with a bright smile. She began to make quick work on the broccoli and bit of chicken in a sauce pan. "Oh, I didn't know about that. Sorry to have offered, dear." She apologized as she began to butter the toast, drizzling a good helping of different cheeses before putting it into the oven. She worked on cooking the pasta, putting the chicken and broccoli off to the side. She was a fast worker and in almost no time she was finished. "Here you go, dear! Eat up!" she said as she set an elegant plate down in front of him with the Alfredo and cheese toast on the side.

"It is. In fact I have cousins tons of cousins I've never met. It can make your head spin." he said curling his tail around himself. He shook his head as she put the bottle away and picked up the juice and took a sip. "Its alright, you didn't know. Funny thing, the thing that doesn't bother me is caffeine. I can drink soda all day and still crash at night." he said with a chuckle.
He watched her cook, his nose twitching as the delightful smells drifted past him. He was amazed at the speed at which she finished cooking and licked his lips as she set the plate down in front of him. "Wow! It looks amazing!" he said smiling up at her.

Emily giggled lightly as he talked about having such a large family. "Well caffeine and alcohol work differently on other types of foxes. I try not to drink soda since it would have me crash hard the same night." Speaking as he grabbed hold of a bar stool and moved it closer towards the kitchen island. She took her gloves off after setting her own plate of food down in front of her. Her portion seemed to be smaller, but even more elegant than Neely's own plate.
"Thank you, I learned from the fox that took me in. She's wonderful at Italian and Angelique is great at French cuisine." She said with a smile as her tail flickered off at the side. She had poured herself a small glass of red wine. She ate her food with care.

Neely nodded. "I can't remember the last home cooked meal I had. Mostly its pizza and the like."
He watched her get closer to the island and daintly start to eat. He blinked and continued to watch her slightly obliviously his tail swishing slightly back and forth.

Emily was surprised to hear that he rarely had a home cooked meal. "That sounds awful, Neely... Maybe you can visit me once in a while or as often as you'd like and I can make dinner for the both of us. Would you like that?" She offered with a smile as a swish of her tail. She noticed the male fox watching her eat, " Is everything alright?" Asking as she set her fork down onto the plate.

Neely jumped slightly and then had to replay the last few minutes in his head to remember what she'd said. "Oh, I'd like that!" he said looking down at his plate and quickly shoving food in his mouth to buy time to think.
He finally swallowed and looked back up at her. "Sorry...just never really watched a girl eat before...you do things really daintily. " he said blushing.

Emily blushed lightly as he said that she was dainty when she ate. She giggled lightly as she patted her lips with a napkin after she had finished her meal. "I've never heard that before. Thank you. It's really sweet to hear it from a gent." she said as she collected the dishes with a smile. She washed them with care then set them to dry and to dry her paws off as well. She put her gloves back on before sitting back onto the chair. "Do you have any brothers or sister, dear?" Asking as she poured herself another glass of wine then him some more orange juice.

Neely nodded and watched her straighten up then take her seat again. He picked up his drink and sipped at it before nodding. "I have two sisters, Kalea and Kyree." his tail flicked back and forth for a moment. "I take it you have siblings, least I got that impression anyway."

Emily nodded before taking a sip of her wine. " The doctor said I have brothers. Three I believe he said, but only one is my true sibling. The other two are half." She explained as she set her empty glass down. She looked over towards the living room to see it was free for use. "Care to watch a movie or play a few games they have in the living room?" Asking as she wished to learn how to really play with video games and use controllers.

"I see. Is that...hard to accept?" he asked hoping that he wasn't offending her. With the exception of his Aunt Jane and his cousin Quinn, his family usually didn't have relationship problems...well and his own failed attempt at romance.
He blinked then nodded. "We could do that. Great-grandpa keeps a small stash of games here for public use so they all should be relatively easy to learn and fun." he said with a smile.

"At first it was, but after time it began to become easier to accept it." Emily said as she answered his question. Her eyes looked a bit lost when she thought about the family she had back in the time before the accident. She shook it off and looked back towards the living room.
Smiling she got off her chair and headed to the couch to relax, patting the spot next to her for him to sit. "That's really nice of him. What would you like to play?" Asking as she waited for him.

Neely nodded then followed her over to the couch and hopped up. "Uh..." he quickly hopped off again to rummage through the games. "Gears of War, Halo, Saints Row..." he put several down and off to the side. "Assassin's Creed...hrm..." he flicked his tail from side to side, wishing that there were some slightly less violent games as he wasn't sure she'd like them.
"AH!" he said pulling out a game that was on the bottom of the pile. "Viva Pinata Party Animals." he turned and showed her the cover. "Its multiplayer game, sorta silly, but its fun." he said turning on the Xbox and putting in the disk, grabbing two controllers before going back.
