Hurricane’s head peeked up, from the comfort of warmth and fluff of his family around him. Everyone peacefully sleeping away as he took some time to him self. He stepped away carefully from the cuddle pile to see what was going on outside. His little paws on the windowsill as he watched the outside world in chaos. It was storm, a nasty one; the kind where trees where swaying and the rain was coming in sideways. Still in all the craziness, he found a certain sense of peace. Hurricane was happy to see his family at rest, the soft sounds of their breath as they dreamed away. He was alone. Alone with just his thoughts an ideas for now, at least, until his family woke up.

A small smile curling his lips as he turned to watch his slumbering family… Oh but wait,…momma wasn’t in the pile anymore. Quickly he turned, only to be swallowed up into Ithil’s arms. Hurricane closed his eyes, his tail swaying as he felt his mom’s cuddles. “Didn’t mean to wake you momma.” He whispered to her not wanting to disturb anymore of his family. “It’s okay sweetheart.~” Ithil said in low motherly tone, petting her child’s head. “You know, you’re not alone… Your family is here for you always.” Hurricane smiled once more, his family really would be there for him… should he need it and maybe even if he didn’t. Quiet and content he sat there in his mother’s arms, until they both fell back asleep again.
