The horses galloping was all that could be heard as Taka and Perounelle made their way towards the training grounds. They passed several common folk, who gladly tipped their heads, seeing the queen and her small guest riding so proudly on this horse to wherever their destination was. Perounelle made sure her horse, Galaxy, strode off smoothly, as to not scare or bump Taka too much. It took about 10 minutes for them to reach the palace's training grounds, and in those 10 minutes, Perounelle stayed completly silent, simply enjoying the wind blowing through her hair, and enjoying the ride in general.

They approached a large gate near the back of the palace that was guarded by two of her knights. They nodded their heads once they saw her and galaxy approach. They both took a step aside, the one of the right approaching Perounelle, his eyes passing over her, and to the child in your lap. "What brings you here, queen?" Perounelle made a motion, and the knight stood back. She gently wrapped her arms around Taka, jumping off the horse easily while holding him. Once they were securely off, Perounelle let Taka down and went to her horse, stroking its mane affectionately. "Thank you for the ride, Galaxy. Please go to the stables and enjoy your lunch." The horse whinnied in response, trotting off to do said thing.

It was then that Perounelle turned to the guard. "I'm going to train with Takashi here, while his father is in Nova, I will be keeping him company." The knights gave each other an amused look and they then opened the gates for Perounelle, offering them entry. The knight on the right then added, "Queen, shall I call the taylor to prepare a new dress for you?" Perounelle paused, and then looked back at him, still completely neutral all this time, her aura calm, and tranquil. "No. I do not plan on ripping or staining this dress. We will be doing simple physical exercises." The knight nodded and they closed the gates once Taka and Perounelle were within the training grounds.

The training grounds was made up of several stone pillars, some entire, some cut in half, and some stained in blood. At the far end were bars and other various tools for normal physical exertion. She looked down at Taka and said, "Taka, could I ask what your father has been doing to train with you? That will give me an idea of what we should do today." Perounelle took out the green ribbon from her hair and tied it up in a bun, not wanting it to get in her way when she trained.

(Enter) The view was of up most exciting, from such a speed. As they distanced their selves from the church the sun was getting heavier in the sky soon to fall, but would the light even go away in such a bright town. And the shadows only highlighted the beauty of the city and kingdom, like it traced the buildings giving it a pure radiance. Who needed more color to this town, the bright yellow and blue sky and the green of grass and trees that were organized and planted. Other than that, the people seemed to brighten up the day by greeting them while passing by. Such nice honorable people lived in this kingdom, which only says how good the queen has treated them. She may have a serious face, but a heart as warm as the burning sun. And the personality of a lion in its habitat, taking care of his/her kin.
Finally approaching a large gate, which was located in the back of the palace which was guarded by two knights who were probably trained by his father. Then passing by them and entered the pasture for the horse, and as they finally came to a stop and Pernouelle had lifted him up and with no sweat jumped of the horse and landed with grace. Other than that she had explained why she has brought Taka here, even though the servants are probably looking frantically for him back at the General's house. But they were boring, and one of them made him try on new clothes every second for 4 hours. Just the thought of it happening gave him a chill down his spine. Then coming to after pondering on that he heard the knight talk to the queen, saying something about a tailor and a dress. But she refused the offer, and the knight then was about to walk away. Taka had grown quite angry with the knight who didn't salute to him, being the General's son. "I believe your forgetting something. And if you knew who my father was, he'd be quite disappointed with you. Ill give you 5 minutes to give me an appropriate apology, and there better be cake to go with it to." Said Taka, teasing the knight a bit. If the guard knew better he would instantly do what Taka said. Then he gave a wink to the knight, hoping that he caught on that it is an honor to be in the presence of her majesties, General's son. After that small adherence, they made their way to the training ground.
As they reach the training grounds, which was huge and very interesting. He's never seen anything like it before and the fact that a lot of it was destroyed and stained with blood, made him uneasy. But as he was becoming lost in the view of the area he heard his name then called. Breaking his train of spacious thoughts, Perounelle had been trying to get his attention. Which eventually worked and Taka walked towards her where she then explained and questioned what kind of training his father had gave him. Which was an interesting, because not even Taka understood what his father was making him do. Basically he would make Taka meditate, to open his mind and recover his memories since he had none. But other than that, he would try to make him use fire magic's of quite some caliber. Then directing a serious look at Perounelle "My father makes me practice certain magic's" Said Taka giving a look almost completely untruthful. He didn't want to reveal what he actually does, for that was a secret between him and his father and some high authority knights. Looking away showing a little cowardice, because in all honesty is father is nice. But his true intentions are unknown to Taka, and he had caught a unwary glimpse. But not enough to understand what was going on. While he looked to ground pondering about his father he wondered if Perounelle knew since she was a knight in training once. "You knew my father for quite a while. Could you tell me, what was he like when he still had his family" Said Taka, with such a expression. A face that really wanted to know and you just couldn't say no to.

The knights seemed utterly surprised with Taka's words to them, however, their surprised looks faded into amused looks, and they both got down on one knee for Taka. Perounelle looked back at them, her eyes narrowed with amusement, a tiny tiny smirk on her lips. "Our sincerest apologies, young lord. We will not make the same mistake again, and we will be sure to advise the general about our mistake." The knights said in unison, their tones loyal but at the same time, playful, as well. Perounelle shook her head, and made a small motion at the knights. They both nodded, understanding a gesture shared only between Perounelle and them. After the gesture was made, they returned to their stances, taking their rightful place as the so called "Stone Marble Statues" that guarded the training grounds.

Perounelle nodded as Taka approached her after his and the knight's tiny little squabble. It was then she asked him about what exactly his father had been training him, and she waited patiently for his answer, not surprised when she got lack of a good one in the first place. She could sense the fire magic coming from this boy, and other various magics she did not care to pinpoint at the time. He didn't need to tell her. She also didn't expect for Taka to exactly know what his father was teaching him in the first place. Quite honestly, it didn't work that way in the first place. The general wasn't supposed to tell his pupils what exactly they were learning. When you train to become powerful, with no idea of what exactly you were doing, it gave you a sense of weakness. And that sense was critical in becoming stronger. This was why Perrounelle wasn't surprised when Taka gave her the vague answer of 'My father makes me practice certain magics.' Perounelle however, did catch his wavering look of slight untruthfulness. In reality, she didn't exactly think Taka knew her power as queen. The general, after all, answered to her. And if she wanted to know, she could. But Perounelle supposed this little mystery would only add to the boy's mystery, so she didn't mind not knowing.

She was a bit surprised when Taka looked away with slightly cowardice. Perhaps he wanted to tell her, but wasn't supposed to? This interested her. She wasn't surprised when Taka asked her what he was like before. Perounelle hummed slightly at his question, before answering, "I didn't know your father that well, actually. He did train me, and I did become one of his best knights, but we weren't close." Perounelle paused as she spoke, walking away to run her hands over the many bloody pillars, eyes slightly nostalgic. "He was a very stern man, and he reflected a lot of my personality. I would tell you about his family if I knew something. However, I don't. Why don't you ask him?" At her last question, Perounelle looked over at Taka, eyes curious and soft.

That subject about his father was always usually really iffy with Taka, even if he may bring it up. Its not like it hurts him, but more of curiosity to a breaking point. Because ever since he could remember he was the first face to give him kindness, but in all honesty the General was only the third person Taka ever really saw after waking up from some crazed dream. And what came before that, he didn't even know all this poor kid could remember was fire. And beyond that absolutely nothing, except a never ending abyss of black.
The kid then started to randomly stretch, getting ready for what ever was going to happen. Since its better to be prepared, even if the odds are still stacked against you. But usually if you don't know who your opponent is or the skills they may possess. Though it was fairly quiet in the training grounds with just the two of them, which bugged him. Silence was then broken as she then stated that she was a knight, yet didn't know his father very well. That in fact made Taka even more curious. "Wow, my dad is a mystery." Said Taka a little disappointed. What could be the truth about his father and his crazed obsession with Taka trying to learn how to use such magic's. Specially the fire magic's. Perounelle then added more about his father on how stern and etc... But that he already knew, and as he was about to say something, Taka was caught of guard by that one question. (why don't you ask him?) That question scared him, his eyes widened. "Its. Impossible to ask such a question. I owe him so much, and to question him is to take the hospitality. Even If I am his son, its so awkward." Said Taka then gripping both of his shoulders with his hands, very tightly. What he said was the truth, but also the fact his father never really has time to talk to him much anymore. In all honesty the only time he gets to talk just a minuscule amount to him, is during training and dinner when ever he is not out working on war plans.

Perounelle couldn't help but have her mind wander on what the general was like being a father. When she imagined her own general, caring for a child...The imagine in her head depicted one of a stern, stern man, raising a boy up with stone cold determination. And here, she saw a sweet kind boy, loving, but strong. It was at this moment that she then realized that the general wasn't related to the child by blood. This then cleared up her thoughts about this boy. It explained the red hair and eyes, for sure.

Perounelle once again blinked in surprise with Taka's words about not being able to ask his father such a question. The general was indeed an enigma to all those who knew him. He was a very secluded man that did not share many things, personal or not.

Perounelle placed a hand on Taka's tense shoulders, then said, "I do not have any parents, so I apologize if I am not the wisest on such a subject. However," She paused, and then thought about what she knew about parenthood. Even though she had no parents, Perounelle understood that there was going to be a few awkward moments between a father and a son, but she did not understand the concept of debt when it came to a family. Nor did she understand the idea of not being able to ask a question and to quench curiosity.

"A father is a father." She continued, leaning down to meet Taka's eyes. "You are his son. He is obligated to ease your pain, to take your worries away, to give you knowledge. You have no reason to feel as if you have debt with your father. The only thing he wishes in return from you is love. That is the only thing that I can imagine the general will ever want from you. So don't be afraid to ask, love," Perounelle pat his head, and motioned over to a few bars and rocks, as well as other things.

"Your father should be proud. Now, show what you know."

Taka nodded his head, and understood what Perounelle was getting at and smiled. As she went on her little speech of relating to him. and the fact she didn't have any parents. But did it matter if you turn out the way your suppose to be. All though she accused herself of being unwise, Taka shook his head. "Your not unwise in that matter, its the same for me. Parents are not always what they seem to be, like I treat all of my servants like family." Said Taka relating to her, and trying to change the mood a bit.Yet he knew his father would turn out that way, but he didn't blame him for what occurred that made him the way he is. Sometimes you have to float, to truly understand. Curiosity will always be there regardless, its only natural to want to know, it is completely human to want to.
He looked in her eyes and repeated what she said trying to translate the meaning. " A father is a father" yet said it very faintly, almost like a whisper. Then watching her lean down to his eye level, and gave off the words of serenity and reassuring him that his father loves him. Taka then became very happy, and his heart started to race. And was looking forward to seeing his father again. And with that in mind, he was ready to train with spirits blazing.
As Perounelle then gave the ok to show her what he knew. Without hesitation he jumped back putting distance between him and her. And then stood in a stance raising his hand to the sky and the other hand in front of his body stretched out. Like he was going use some of the suns energy as fuel behind his magic attack. And in that second his body burst into flames, which was common for him, but unusual for fire users. The flames were fairly intense, and quite heavy. "I hope your ready for this, I like using this move to start things off. You better dodge this one, this one melted one of the training knights shields." Said Taka, becoming quite confident, but for how long though.

Perounelle stared down at the boy, curious as to where his sudden enthusiasm came from. Surely her simple words couldn't have given him enough morale, enough happiness to act in such a manner. This whole thing was really just new to Perounelle. She wasn't used to having children around her, let alone any noble child that was so kind and gentle like Taka. Many children seemed to think Perounelle came off as far too queenly and serious for their liking. But she also supposed this was why she could actually communicate with Taka in such a manner. He was raised in sort of the same environment as she was, and was exposed to a serious aura most of his life, the source of that aura being the general. It was strange, to say the least.

True, that Perounelle indeed was exposed to a rather serious environment, but not so much so as Taka was, and probably still is. She was raised around priests, cathedrals, and churches, and moved on to be raised around other children from all over, these children exhibiting every single personality possible. And she still turned out the way she was now. Perhaps it was the fact that she had no parents, but even that explanation wouldn't be a good one because not even Taka gave off her serious aura, not even he had such a strong presence as she did. And when Perounelle was his age, her presence was just as strong, perhaps maybe a little less stronger than her presence at the moment. She was also very manly, and serious. This didn't really change, even when she hit puberty. In fact, Perounelle was very easily mistaken for a boy before her chest began to fill out, proving that she was in fact a woman. She supposed she always did have a man's insight and mindset, but she could easily switch over to the motherly side of things when she had to. A blessing and a curse, she supposed.

Perounelle decided she would cogitate Taka's influencing and personality later, right now, it was obvious he was quite ready to duel. In a second, he went from relating to her in a very composed manner, to becoming rather serious and eccentric to fight. She cocked an eyebrow at this change, but shook her head, backing up and looking up at the sun for a few moments as he told her that she better be ready. She took note that he did indeed use fire, and from what she was gathering, it was potent, and intense. It seemed his entire body was a blazing ball, meaning that a direct attack would probably harm her. She hummed and lifted her dress up, looking around at the several pillars and nodding to herself. She backed up slightly, and said, "By all means, start the attack, Takashi."
