Joseph rolled his eyes at the male then walked inside his room.''How did I end up with two pests?'' he said then gave another annoyed sigh.He picked up the bear and held him in one arm then set his alarm clock for about an hour and a half.He subtracted about ten minutes,which he would use to get up and go to the port to wait for his crew.''Let's relax abit before the crew gets back.Between dealing with you,Mouse,and the crew,I'll probably be awake all night.'' he said.Bepo cheered up at this news and after Joseph took off his shoes and laid back on the bed,Bepo nuzzled his cheek contently.''Darn fur ball...Stop it.'' Joseph said.After afew more moments of nuzzling Joseph's cheek,Bepo finally curled up next to Joseph,using his captain's arm as a pillow.

Joseph soon fell asleep,Bepo drifting to sleep soon after.They woke up to the sound of the alarm clock an hour and a half later.Joseph stopped the alarm then pet Bepo's head gently,waking him up.''I gotta go,Bepo.You coming? Now would be a good time to take you out for some fresh air.'' he said,putting on his shoes while Bepo climbed on his back and to his shoulder.Joseph then walked to the port to wait for his crew.

Joseph waited for the crew,who all returned with their purchases with seven minutes to spare.They knew better than to linger around.Even being one minute late meant they would be killed by the captain.''Alright.Everyone's here.Put away everything then prepare to set sail for our next island.We're going to take over the island so that means that the group that fights with me must prepare both their weapons and the ship's weapons.Cooks prepare dinner for tonight.Deckhands keep the ship in working order.The slave I bought cleaned earlier but still give everything a once over.I'll need my tailors to get sizes of everyone before bed so new coats can be made.The island is always pretty cold so we'll need to be dressed appropriately.That's about it for now.Let's get going.'' he said.

There was a unified ''Yes sir!'' from the crew before they followed their captain onto the boat.Joseph walked to the front of the ship.''Joseph,look at the sea! It's such a pretty shade of blue.Look Captain! Look!'' Bepo said excitedly.''I see,Bepo.I see.It's always very beautiful.'' he said.He wasn't as focused on the sea as the bear was.He closed his eyes as he enjoyed the fresh air.Ten minutes later,the bear got excited again as they set sail.''Captain,we're moving! We're moving!'' Bepo said excitedly.''Yes Bepo.I know.'' Joseph said.

Joseph looked at the male then back at the sea.''You could sweep this level,Mouse.It's abit dirty.Mop it afew minutes after it's turn in time.Almost everyone will be in their cabins then so there won't be any traffic up here.The floor will be able to dry through the night without someone's dirty shoes messing it up.'' he said.

''Hold the phone.'' Joseph said,removing Bepo from his shoulder and siting him on the floor before catching up with the male.He grabbed the male by the collar and pushed him into a wall roughly.''You better watch who your growling at,Mouse.You will not speak to me that way on my ship.You've been locked in a cage for awhile so I'm gonna assume your not in on current happenings.I'm a well known pirate.It's an honor for my crew to work for me because I get things done,know what I'm talking about,and am pretty darn strong.It's abit too easy for me to kill people.Your walking around on my ship,eating my food,and sleeping in one of my beds.This is my ship,and I will call anyone whatever I dam* well please on my ship.Unless you want to turn your heart in early or are looking for a fight with me,your not going to speak to me in that tone.Got it?'' he said,glaring at him.

Joseph snickered.The male was somewhat amusing,thinking that his captain should care about his happiness and worth.''Mouse,I'm not some newbie pirate.I've been doing this pirate thing for seven years.I can assure you that all my bases are covered.I have a crew of talented and experienced people.Each one of them has at least afew years of experience behind him or her.I have people for everything I might need while out at sea-cooks,cannonmen,swordsmen,navigators,doctors,nurses,tailors,deckhands.And if something breaks,I have tool men who can fix it.I have several of each just in case one dies or gets sick,things still get done.I didn't buy you because I was holding Heart pirate tryouts and was looking for more people to add to my crew.I bought you for cleaning.I didn't become a pirate to make friends.I don't care if you like me or not.And I need you healthy so you can work.I don't care if your happy here.The weak don't get choices,they get leftovers.'' he said.

"Your seven years too late to join my crew, Mouse.And being a vampire doesn't make up for your complete lack of ship experience.This isn't like the movies.I need my crew to know full well what their doing, not just wing it and hope for the best.On the sea as a pirate,where the nearest hospital is usually hundreds of miles away and other pirates could try to kill you, you can't just wing it cause its your life on the line.And if your a captain with a crew, it's not 'life', it's 'lives' and if your a good captain, you don't let any of your crew die in battle.I think you watched too many movies in that slave shop or before slavery,Mouse.Pirate life isn't as romantic, carefree, and reckless as the movies make it out to be." he said then casually shoved the male aside. He walked back to Bepo, who was proudly donning a coat similar to Joseph's though not a long coat. "They finished making your coat, huh? Is it warm and does it fit you?" Joseph said."Yes sir.It's warm and it's comfortable too.Now I'm even closer to becoming the best in Captain's crew." Bepo said proudly.Joseph picked the bear up and let him hang out on his shoulder again.
