Ree kept his gaze focus on her as she spoke, barely blinking and only narrowing his eyes when she spoke of Trisuri and her reasons for attempting to kill him. He wondered if she realized that she had reached her goal, she had strengthen Tri's resolve...which was not to hurt her..or technically her host. She had been hitting all the wrong triggers but at the same time she was not completely wrong.
His gaze turned less hash as she continued and then widen in surprise before narrowing again in suspicion. Taking a deep breath he finally broke away and glanced at Leukos before snapping back to her. A deal with a malice, he did not know much of them other than it was common sense they would be bad.
"A new deal? What the hell didn't yo-
"Extend the no-harm except in self defense until after you leave and I'll agree" he said ignoring both Mara and Tri's shout and clenched his fingers into the back of the chair as Mara grabbed his shoulder with enough force to bruise but he didn't look away from Ashral,phasing before Mara dragged him back. Moving through the table until he was near Ashral and solidified again. The cold was breaking as he tried to hang on to that calculating frame of mind as bits of anger, suspicion, guilt and even curiosity tried to surface again.

Ashral didn't bother to react to Mara interjecting as she knew by now that Ree would take back control of the conversation quickly. She was now fairly confident that he was the one that really ran the show. What, with his displays of power here and now, and the way he took on Hexxis' wounds himself with such nobility. It intrigued her he waited this long to even step forward. A grin grew across her lips slowly as she seemed to think it over for a brief moment, then came to a slow stand, even now never breaking her intense gaze with him. "Deal." she then without shifting her eyes in the slightest, she extended a careful hand to Ree, seemingly cautious not to make sudden movements as not to startle his rabid dog of a mother. "I am yours.. You know how to call me again after she returns." she then silently held up three fingers on her other hand with a smile. "Not long now..."
Leukos watched the whole exchange and then hesitantly removed his hand from her when she came to a stand, shifting his gaze to Mara quickly worried she might react to it negatively, ready to pull Ashral back if that became the case. He watched Ashral out of his peripheral for anything out of the ordinary, which so far nothing was seemingly off besides her weird deal she was making with Ree as a whole. He didnt understand it and any attempts to read her mind about it specifically only turned up with irrelevant information or just plain blank. He sighed as he tiredly stared off, realizing three days was a long time when you were already tired from staying up the previous three days already. "...maybe I'll be able to sleep eventually..." he said in exasperation, meant as a joke but in his tired state came off a little colder than it was intended.
Melody smiled as they seemed to come to an agreement. "So that means you'll actually work with us now?" she asked jovially as she was excited that things were now working out despite the previous hang up and not only negative but bleak outlook on the whole situation.
Ashral slid her eyes slowly to Melody as she spoke, narrowing her eyes in what looked like a hint of disgust. Then half-rolled her eyes, returning to Ree her face moving into a mix of intrigue and boredom. "I suppose it would suggest I'm working with you. But that does not mean I have to like you." she narrowed her eyes again slightly in annoyance. Despite looking right at Ree, it was obvious she was still talking directly to Melody.
Melody's expression fell into a frown within a pained face as she didn't even retort and merely removed her hand from Leukos' arm and sat forward in her chair and looked to the ground without saying anything.
Leukos looked to Melody as she pulled her hand away and then shot a glare in Ashral's direction. Silently, he set down the cup and reached a hand to grab Melody's, reassuring her with the gesture. "Kindness is a team effort. Get used to that." he stated harshly.
Ashral showed a twinge of anger and pain in her face as she exhaled in slight annoyance and defeat, her face not dropping from a more stern and unmoving expression. "...fine." she spoke in an obvious lie to comply and spare Melody's pesky feelings on the matter.

Ree took the hand with only a flicker of discomfort at the wording, she made it obvious this was only between him and her and she might not listen to anyone else else..darn it.
His handshake was firm though as he watched her while she watched him. What had he truely entered? He agreed with the words of the deal, now he only had to expect the eventual betrayal. Still....that should give them some breathing room as she tried to gain their trust, hopefully.
Listening to Leukos he was about to make a suggestion after catching the quick look of pain in Ash's face..that was until he felt Mara's fingers on his shoulders again. He blinked with suprised as he had momentarily forgetten about them in the seconds it had taken him to move and make the deal with Ash. "Mar-..." He stumbled as she pulled him back to her, feeling her grab him with her other hand and lifted him up.
"Get. Out" she said dangerously, lowering and pushing him to Tri. "Get him out. He isn't allowed to leave the base " she growled turning to look at Ashral and Leukos."how do you break the deal?!"
Ree stared after her a combination of fear and anger warring within him as Tri held him a little more lightly, supporting than actually holding him down. Yet even Tri was looking at Mara worriedly with a quick glance toward Ashral for danger.
Ree was struggling between staying where he was, alarmed at Mara's anger and defending what he just did. Eventually he tried to push away from Tri. "We're not breaking it unless she breaks it first. I am tired of seeing Tri injured needlessly ...don't tell me you ha-"
"I said get him out Tri " she said hitting the table once and regretting it immediately since Melody was still in the room. Moments later she felt the pull of darkness as Tri jumped out with Ree. Not looking away from Ashral she motioned for a Melody to come to her.

Ashral flickered her eyes to Mara in slight surprise and immense anger as she lifted Ree started demanding he leave. She took a step forward, eyes burning intensely locked on Mara. She didn't seem to care that Mara was in an armored suit as she moved a hand to her side, palm open as though about to summon something to her. "How about you get out!!" she growled back at her. As she questioned the deal, Ashral took another step toward Mara, her fury boiling up quickly. "You cannot break this deal because it does not concern you!!"
Leukos let go of Melody suddenly, jumping to his feet and moving in front of Ashral, facing her as he put his hands on her shoulders, shoving her back. "Ashral, cut it out!!" he exclaimed angrily at her. "You're not allowed to hurt Mara! You said so! That's your stupid deal, isn't it?!" he glared at her in contest.
Melody tensed up and gasped slightly as the strain built in the room so quickly, people throwing and shoving others and yelling. Tears were already threatening to break through as she instinctively ran to Mara and stood behind her, looking with worry at Ashral and Leukos.
She growled as she was shoved by Leukos but stood her ground. She darted her eyes to Tri and Ree as they jumped with a pull of darkness. Ashral's glare intensified further as she directed her full attention at Mara, releasing a wave of dread into the room. "I was willing. I was cooperating. So why..." she stared at her infuriated as she looked like she was visibly holding herself back from attacking Mara right then and there. "What's your problem, Mara?!" she screamed at her.
"Ashral!" he was running out of ideas as he just held fast to her, keeping himself in between her and Mara, not just to try to prevent Ashral from lashing out, but as well to prevent Mara from doing just the same. He was too tired to deal with this as his patience was wearing thin by now. "How about you both calm down!!" he ordered, keeping his eyes low, just trying anything to get them both to stop. He took a breath and steadied his voice. "Look.. there is a lot to sort out here, but getting angry and yelling at each other is obviously getting us nowhere. I've stayed awake for three days so that Ashral can stay calm enough to even talk with everyone, and I at least vouch for Ashral to say she can stay calm if she's not being blatantly prevoked. So the least you two can do is just breathe and talk. I'm tired. Really tired. But I'm not tired enough to blind you both for being a pain in the neck both ways." his words were blunt and unfiltered now, too exhausted to sugar-coat his feelings about it all. He then looked to Ashral with a tired look. Then looked to Mara, almost pleading with the expression on his face. "Colonel Gold, please..." he spoke softly, keeping his hands on Ashral as his grip loosened slowly, seeing if either of them would comply.

Mara stiffen and clenched her teeth as the aura washed over her. Well any doubt about her Malice being a Shadow was put to rest. She pushed down the sudden memories of Kage doing the same..of all the trouble it had caused her own teamates who ...damn it.
"Other than you are a Malice who finally got someone to agree to your deal after nearly killing the last person you were interested in? you just put him in danger by making him be the only one who can supposedly control you. " she said quietly, her voice strained as she finally looked toward Leukos then Melody. "Let's go. Not how I planned to end this meeting, but now I have someone else to talk to today. " furious at Ree and Ashral...and just the timing of it all. "Melody... Go find Trisuri ...he will still show you around. Leukos ....."she glared at Ashral at the last part and opened the door, taking s deep breath as only two of her teamates had stayed nervously clutching their guns after the release of the aura. "It's . Fine. Deep breath " she said and look back motioning for all of them to go ahead.

Ashral inhaled deeply, her body almost trembling from her anger as she exhaled shakily. She retracted her aura and stared at Mara until she mentioned that she had put Ree in danger as she shifted her eyes away in resentment. Feelings she couldn't understand were starting to stir within. Were these her feelings or Hexxis', were they even real? The turmoil in her mind setting in as she only covered it with more anger. She lowered her head, refusing to even look at Mara now. "..leukos, i want to go back to the room.." she stated in a low, cold voice.
Melody stayed close to Mara, too afraid to go near Ashral even if Leukos was standing right there. She looked to Mara as she spoke and the nodded nervously, trying to force a positive smile then began to exit, but not before taking a moment to look back at Leukos longingly, frown, then walk away to find Tri.
Leukos exhaled with slight relief but more exasperation as it was explained why Mara was so angry. He was about to comment his two cents at Ashral but then Mara was ending the meeting. He figured he'd just talk to her when they were alone in her room again instead. He watched as Melody left, meeting her longing frown with his own mirrored expression to hers. As Ashral requested to go back, he sighed and nodded slowly, slipping his hand into hers gently and leading her toward the door. "...I'm sorry." he made a passing comment to Mara as they exited, maybe out of his own guilt from not being strong enough to stop her from making a deal, and more because he didn't make any effort to stop her when the deal was being made. He should have known it wouldn't turn out good, or so he believed. He kept his eyes directed toward the ground as they walked, barely focusing on anything as they burned from exhaustion.
