Combo: Rainy + Sublime
Thoughts: Tied together with the black and white colors. This is the point in the process where I started to differentiate "making a color scheme combo" to make a "Heki-style" avatar that combines color schemes. 1a. is kind of my style, but more on satisfying the theme. 1b. is something more like I want to make in general.
Difficulty: 2/10
Possible Blending Combos: n/a

Combo: Witchly + Oasis
Thoughts: Wanted more head pieces that could flow with the hair. Excepting that, pretty easy, due to common blacks and similar color intensities.
Difficulty: 3/10
Possible Blending Combos: Goshiki
3.
Combo: Candygloss + Gloomy
Thoughts: Works fine because of the highlight/shadow difference between Candygloss and Gloomy. Kind of a take on Konpeito.
Difficulty: 4/10
Possible Blending Combos: Wilted, Konpeito, Confectionary
4.
Combo: Wilted + Toxic
Thoughts: Used mostly blue dominant poses vs the purple dominant ones in the Wilted Schemes, which helped everything blend very well.

1.
Combo: Marley + Sugarbomb
Thoughts: Haha rare combo! At some point item availability is p. much non existent, so have fun with it.
Difficulty: 8/10
Possible Blending Combos: Suika
2.
Combo: Newborn + Sugarbomb
Thoughts: Haha rare combo x2. There's slightly more newborn items, but not so much direct blends. Anyway, I guess it's easier because the colors are closer. Slightly.
Difficulty: 7/10
Possible Blending Combos: Pastel Rainbow, Demon Candy
3.
Combo: Acidic + Demon Candy
Thoughts: Lack of acidic items aside, pretty much as simple as can get due to the matching turquoises. Used toxic to get more green in there.
Difficulty: 1/10
Possible Blending Combos: Toxic
4.
Combo: Thumbelina + Sketchbook
Thoughts: It's been a while, I don't remember putting this together. But this is one of those schemes where the Sketchbook is going to be a background player to the more flamboyant Thumbelina. Not difficult at all.

1.
Combo: Polar + Asexual
Thoughts: White provides a unifying color and the purple provides a strong pop of color. Extending Asexual theme to include byzantium is a good idea.
Difficulty: 4/10
Possible Blending Combos: Byzantium
2.
Combo: Mournful + Inari
Thoughts: Needs more items overall, but scheme can keep it together with a blue + orange (opposite colors) and white vibe.
Difficulty: 6/10
Possible Blending Combos: Horizon, Skyward, Goddess, Duckling
3.
Combo: Royal Icing + Despair
Thoughts: Plenty of options all around. Decided to use the Zombae skin just because I could.
Difficulty: 3/10
Possible Blending Combos: Confectionary, honey lavender.
4.
Combo: Crimson + Kashmiri
Thoughts: Lots of items for both schemes. The green of Kashmiri is a complement to the Crimson, while the pink is a tint of the red in Crimson, so all the colors relate to each other while still providing contrast.
Difficulty: 2/10

1.
Combo: Cutie Pie + Helio
Thoughts: These feel like a natural mesh, especially for a fairy style avatar.
Difficulty: 3/10
Possible Blending Combos: Creamy Candy, Honey Lavender
2.
Combo: Cutie Pie + Decay
Thoughts: I love the way that the pink and yellow work against the dull green of the decay scheme. I feel like this is a little more difficult than the combo above on account of how different the item styles are between the two schemes.
Difficulty: 4/10
Possible Blending Combos: Blooming
3.
Combo: Mojito + Checkmate
Thoughts: I found this unexpectedly difficult, especially since I was trying to interpret Checkmate as the OG color scheme rather than an individual shade. Thankfully, the colors aren't that incompatible. The problem I found was combining the relative lack of Mojito items with the relative age of OG Checkmate items and different styles. Full disclosure, I drew another checkmate/rare green combo a couple days later and...chose not to do it.
Difficulty: 6/10
Possible Blending Combos: Horizon, Apatite
4.
Combo: Pure + Goldenlocks
Thoughts: Pure is pretty much a freebie, and Goldenlocks is also fairly neutral. Not the most exciting, but easy.

1.
Combo: Wintermint + Biohazard
Thoughts: This ended up being a Saiphic + Biohazard combo, though I tried to make sure to use poses where Wintermint was the dominant color. In that sense, the most difficult issue was item compatibility and finding a good mix of both items.
Difficulty: 7/10
Possible Blending Combos: Melty Kiss, Wild Berry, Fallen Wish, Saiphic
2.
Combo: Witchly + Obscurity
Thoughts: Both schemes are heavy purple base and provide contrast in different ways (Witchly with the orange, Obscurity with the light and dark values). Versatile, as long as what you want to make is spooky-ooky and purple.
Difficulty: 3/10
Possible Blending Combos: Any heavy purple scheme for more shades to work with.
3.
Combo: Daydream + Carnation
Thoughts: The difficulty is the lack of item selection, since Daydream is one of those obscure user schemes and Carnation is not super common either. Thankfully, item style compatibility was not an issue.
Difficulty: 6/10
Possible Blending Combos: Fallen Wish, Dusk Rose.
4.
Combo: Nova, Andromeda
Thoughts: Not difficult, because the colors and the item styles are compatible, but tedious because neither group has a lot in the way of item selection and not a lot of variety in style. I didn't feel like there was much in the way of concepts with this scheme besides Space Magical Girl.
Difficulty: 5/10
Possible Blending Combos: Thumbelina, Obscurity, Creamy Candy

1.
Combo: Vile + Woodlands
Thoughts: Item selection could be better, but the styles are generally compatible. The Woodland becomes the base and then the Vile provides some pops of color
Difficulty: 3/10
Possible Blending Combos: Decay, Tiamat, Toxic, Acidic
2.
Combo: Aurora + Sandman
Thoughts: I don't love the blending, but both have a good variety of items, enough that while I was making 2a, I noticed there was enough formal items to go full on gown girl with the scheme too.
Difficulty: 2/10
Possible Blending Combos: Dreamland, Filigree
3.
Combo: Schoolboy + Patriotic
Thoughts: Very hard to work with. Schoolboy is fairly limited in both number and kind of items, and Patriotic has even fewer items.
Difficulty: 8/10
Possible Blending Combos: Possessed, Sapphire, Slushy
4.
Combo: Schoolboy + Willow
Thoughts: There's more Willow items than Patriotic, but the style is so different from Schoolboy that there's really a limit in what poses can be used, since Schoolboy has a bit of an older school art style, while Willow is very much a newer scheme. I ended up using Willow for the base and details and Schoolboy for main parts of the outfit.
Difficulty: 6/10
Possible Blending Combos: Verdigris, Possessed, Mist

1.
Combo: Navy + Peony
Thoughts: Single colors are always odder to work with compared to schemes. Is anything with Navy good, or do I have to work with only the navy tones. Now do that with a second color.
Difficulty: 6/10
Possible Blending Combos: Independence/Independensea, Moonlight, Ossidian, Honey Lavender
2.
Combo: Goldenlocks + Nocturne
Thoughts: These were fairly easy to blend together and contrasted nicely. Not much of an item selection, and I definitely felt cornered into making a mage avatar.
Difficulty: 4/10
Possible Blending Combos: Tinsel or taffy to bring together the yellow and the purple, Finvarra or Verdigris to emphasize the green and brown/gold.
3.
Combo: Demure + Sunset
Thoughts: The blending is fine, and there's lots of Demure items to choose from. The relative lack of sunset proved to be a bit of a challenge.
Difficulty: 4/10
Possible Blending Combos: Nocturne, Carnation, Filigree (to round out Sunset), Decay
4.
Combo: Retro + Dupioni
Thoughts: Retro is basically monochrome with fewer items. Good news means that it's basically a neutral.
Difficulty: 3/10
Possible Blending Combos: Anubis, Wilted, Monochrome for more item variety

1.
Combo: Goldfish + Evelyn
Thoughts: Very limited item-selection. I do like the way the purple, the pink and the orange all blend though.
Difficulty: 7/10
Possible Blending Combos: Witchly
2.
Combo: Rosette + Lucifer Kiss
Thoughts: This came together more once I emphasized more of the dark browns from the Rosette Scheme.
Difficulty: 6/10
Possible Blending Combos: Verdigris
3.
Combo: Widow + Frost Blue
Thoughts: Extremely limited item selection. Probably ended up being more of a cottonfrost in order to add interest. Any black or red + black combo will emphasize widow.
Difficulty: 7/10
Possible Blending Combos: Cottonfrost, Winterberry, Rose Saga, Black Forest
4.
Combo: Fortunate + Cottonfrost
Thoughts: Decent but not large item pools for both. The blue-green of cotton frost and the peach of fortunate fall into similar tones, which makes the blending look decently natural.
Difficulty: 5/10

1.
Combo: Heartbeat + Aurora
Thoughts: Easily my favorite of the Heartbeat combos I've done so far. I think the aurora provides a beautiful base, and the pink and purple tones compliment the red and purple tones in the Heartbeat scheme.
Difficulty: 3/10
Possible Blending Combos: Librarian
2.
Combo: Iridescent + Cryogenic
Thoughts: Good item selection, but the color schemes don't really blend. Instead the strategy seems to be to choose one scheme to be the dominant one (in this case the Cryogenic) and use the other to fill in the details.
Difficulty: 4/10
Possible Blending Combos: Skyward
3.
Combo: Vervain + Blue Raspberry
Thoughts: This one worked really well once I decided to use Vervain for the base and then Blue Raspberry for the clothes.
Difficulty: 4/10

Combo: Nori + Waku Waku
Thoughts: This would be a perfect blending combo especially once all the Kirin items were brought in. If only there were some actual Waku Waku items. See how sad she is. She's not even wearing shoes!

1.
Combo: Eclair + Sootberry
Thoughts: Extremely easy to work together despite relative lack of items specifically the eclair ones. Extremely dull; needs some pop of color to make it interesting.
Difficulty: 2/10
Possible Blending Combos: None, though expanding the pallette to other colors in related schemes would add interest.
2.
Combo: Mist Blue + Ossidian
Thoughts: It's blue on blue, and the blues are pretty well related. Selection isn't the best for either scheme and the item style is a bit hit or miss between them, but the colors help bridge them.
Difficulty: 1/10
Possible Blending Combos: N/A
3.
Combo: Thumbelina + Pretentious
Thoughts: Can't tell if Pretentious is the scheme or just the color, but I used what came up in the invo search. Item selection is limited, but since the color pallete does kind of a split complementary thing (blue against the hot pink, orange, and yellow) it was fairly easy to find places to contrast. Even the makeup/nose were part of the schemes

Combo: Vivid Rainbow + Glacial
Thoughts: I kind of hate this avatar. There's a fair lack of items in both schemes going by invo search, and a bit of an item style mismatch for those that do exist. Though it's not like the glacial is obviously clashing with vivid rainbow. It's just overpowered.
Difficulty: 7/10

My first take on a triple combo. First three are combos of 2 schemes and final one is all three.
1.
Combo: Malibu + Fenghuang
Thoughts: The running theme for these three schemes together is that Fenghuang is extremely specific in the styles that it contains. Malibu and Fenghuang together share a similar level of saturation, but the styles are completely different. It finally came together in a bit of a Chinese streetwear vibe.
Difficulty: 8/10
2.
Combo: Malibu + Kingly
Thoughts: There's more of a style overlap between these two, where there's a number of 'cute' and girly items between them, but I ended up surprised when it finally came together.
Difficulty: 4/10
3.
Combo: Fenghuang + Kingly
Thoughts: It took a bit to get an outfit to cohere, at least for the femme version, and the result feels like a less successful version of 1 above, since the colors aren't so harmonious. I was inspired later to lean into the number of masculine items available in Kingly to do more of a masculine avatar.
Difficulty: 7/10
4. Combo: Malibu + Fenghuang + Kingly
Thoughts: About halfway through playing through all three schemes, I ended up with a bit of a dead end. It then occurred to me to start with Fenghuang and let that determine the rest of the avatar. I'm afraid that the Malibu ended up being the odd scheme out, since there's very few elegant items in that scheme. I'm still not in love with this, but I also don't know if I'm good enough to make a better version. Maybe try to do a remake at some point.
Difficulty: 9/10

Another Triple Combo, for your consideration. First three are combos of 2 and the final is the triple.
1.
Combo: Ifrit + Meteorite
Thoughts: There's not a lot to work with in either scheme, but the styles are similar enough to coordinate and they're both very sparkly, which gives a natural direction for the avatars.
Difficulty: 5/10
2.
Combo: Ifrit + Pudding Cup
Thoughts: Probably the most difficult of the two-color combos. Pudding Cup is an extremely limited scheme that doesn't have a lot in common color or stylewise with Ifrit. I think I found some more casual/kiddy wear in Ifrit to use as accets but kept the buck of the outfit as well as the hair in the Pudding Cup scheme.
Difficulty: 7/10
3.
Combo: Meteorite + Pudding Cup
Thoughts: Pudding Cup item selection is still extremely limiting, but overall, this looks like such a natural mix I'm not sure someone would clock it as a randomly generated color-scheme combo as opposed to an organic combination.
Difficulty: 4/10
4.
Combo: Ifrit + Meteorite + Pudding Cup
Thoughts: Pudding Cup here was used mostly as the base (hair and underdress) with the Meteorite and Ifrit serving more as accents. It's not terrible, but I definitely felt a little bit limited trying to get all three to work.
