Fuega/Cathal - The Hunt...

Yakobi
The adult male lay curled up upon a large rock, the wind gently blowing though his pelt and chilling him to the bone. He shivered for a moment, before his stub like ears flicked back as much as they could. 'You fool, Cathal! What are you doing. Laying around?!' the dark voice in his mind shouted, its voice fuming.

"I'm not hunting any more wolves.." the beta uttered, his voice dry as he slowly shut his good eye.
'Cathal, you can't escape it. You're a killer, it's in your blood. Now go hunt for me.'
The male gumbled, growling to himself, trying to make the voice be silent so he could rest, but he knew he would not get that wish. It would just keep talking until he decided to get up.

ChevalBunita

Her stomach began to rumble deep within her. It was at times such as these Fuega wished she ran with wolves other then her ever following shadow. It wasn't that she couldn't for herself, oh no. It was that she missed the company of others, oftentimes at meals. She had no one to share with, no one to even brag to for a job well done. But, it was no matter. For now she long to have her belly satiated once more and this meant that she should leave the comfort of her cozy shade and go roam in search of something to sink her teeth into.

The red gamma began a steady walk, her ears flickering ever so often at the slightest sound. Her icy blue eyes took in the horizon on the sides of her and then darted back in front of her, always watching for something, anything to show the smallest movement. She stopped suddenly, her body stilling itself almost instantly. Her nostrils flared as a familar scent wafted inward and then she knew at once what the scent was. Who it belonged too. With a deep sigh she began looking around.

Yakobi
'Come on Cathal, find someone...You know you want to. Listen to me.' he hissed, the voice was hushed however, sounding like a whisper into the male's ear. Almost as if the voice was trying seduce him into doing what it said.

Cathal couldn't help but let a groan escape his maw, his yellow eye shooting back open. "You aren't going to let me rest...Are you?" he questioned, though he already knew the answer. Lifting his head from his forepaws he blinked, eyeing the scenary, tongue hanging out the side of his maw.

The wind soon brought a familiar sent, waffting into his nostrils, filling his mind. 'Would you look who it is.' the voice chuckled, quite pleased.

"Quiet." he uttered, pushing himself up off the stone and glancing around. The female he knew, was not yet in sight. Perhaps that was a good thing, he wasn't too sure. Leaping off the stone he quickly padded in her direction. "Fuega?" he called out, as he continued to glance about for the red wolf.

ChevalBunita

Here we go the red one silently muttered to herself as she heard the sound of her voice being called. It was Cathal. There was no use hiding her prescense as well. For a fleeting moment she wondered if she should just ignore him and leave, but for the oddest reasons unknown to her she was drawn to the strange wolf. Much like young pups were fascinated by the carnage of fights or newly slain meals. After another heavy sigh she took the remaining steps to get to him. Letting her red and bronze body slip out into the open so that he could see her fully. She made sure to step in front of his good eye, trying to once again show that she meant him no ill will.

"Hello Cathal," Fuega said sweetly, though her voice was ladden with uncertainty. "How are you today?"

Yakobi
A smile crept its way onto Cathal's maw as Fuega walked into the open. He diped his maw in a polite bow to the female, much to his darker voice's dismay. Behind him his tail waged, he was happy to get to see the female once more, though how long that would last he wasn't too sure.

"Hello." he uttered, as pleasant as he could muster. "I'm doing quite well, thank you...And yourself?"
'Oh please, you're not doing well Cathal. Had you been doing well we'd be surrounded with blood. Now that would be something to say you're doing well about.'

The male grunted, not wanting to speak with his other half just yet. As long as he kept it in check, he'd be able to speak with the female for a while.

As Catha's words were spoke and his tail wagged the red one couldn't help, but smile warmly. She liked this side of Cathal, the one that was such a gentlewolf, so soft spoken and polite. But then there was the other half to this spectrum. His darker half that she was sure would like nothing more then to rip her body apart. But still....even that dark half was part of the wolf standing before her, and though she was still wary, she didn't mind really. She knew what pity meant, and felt it towards this creature. Despite that she was still hopeful for some kind of fellowship.

"Oh, I'm doing well," she nodded, her icy blue eyes connecting with Cathal's as she spoke. "A bit hungry...but well all the same."

Yakobi
He nodded slowly, listening to the female speak. He was happy she was doing alright, and at least his other half hadn't tired to take over his body yet. The wag in his tail slowed, as he lifted a hind paw and scratched behind his ear.

'Hungry?' the darker voice snickered, 'Go on, ask her to go on a hunt. Show her the bloodlusting Cathal. The real you.'

Shifting the weight upon his paws, he gave what his other half had spoken some though. He pushed aside the bloodlust comment, as far as he knew it was his other half that contained any bloodlush, but if he did as well...Then he knew nothing about it. "Would you like me to catch something for you?' he finally questioned, his tail now completly stilled.

ChevalBunita

Fuega sat quiet a moment while Cathal inwardly debated with himself, she could tell he was doing so. It was etched inside his mismatched eyes, but that was fine. At the moment she was content with the male keeping his demon at bay, it was only when it was released, and there was no knowing when that would be, that the red one would put her gaurd up.

When the wolf had finally spoken the gamma's tail began to wag all onto its own. How could she refuse such an offer. "I'd be delighted," she said happily, circling a bit to follow him when ready.

Yakobi
The corner's of his maw curled as he smiled, pleased at the female's answer. "Wonderful." he barked, turning his nose to the ground, inhailing the scents of any prey like creatures. "Shouldn't be long before we find something."

Quickly the wolf broke into a trot, following the sweet scent of a rabbit, or perhaps it was a deer. He'd find out as he got closer. Turning his head he glanced towards Fuega, making sure she was following.

'Why don't you let me hunt Cathal? Give yourself a break, hmmm? Face it boy, you can catch anything. I do the hunting here. Me, not you. Give those paws of yours a rest, I can catch something far faster then you can.'
"I don't need your help..." he muttered quietly under his breath.

ChevalBunita

Fuega barked once after he did, biting down the instinct to give out a small girlish giggle. Despite his insanity she did kind of like roaming with Cathal.

"Right behind you," she called, racing forward, but remembering to stay behind or alongside the male, never in front.

Yakobi
His snout lifted to the sky as he blinked, the flapping sounds of brid wings echoing though his ears. Turning his snout back towards the ground he picked up his pace, breaking into a run, the scent of the prey engulfing his senses. "Let me know if I need to slow down." he smiled weakly trying to keep his mind focused upon keeping his other half at bay.

'Mmmm, now doesn't that smell good. Soon, Cathal...Soon.' a cackle burst from the voice inside his mind, causing the beta to wince. He knew exactly the voice was refering to and that possibly frightened him far more then the cackle had. He couldn't let his darker half take over his body again. Not when he was with another wolf.

"We're getting close."

ChevalBunita

"Will do," The red one called back as she swept across the land after him. In her stomach, way deep down she could feel that twitching that indeed prey was nearby. She would voice this, but she knew that Cathal knew and he was afterall, going to be the one the found the food. Hunted it and tore it apart. And in a way maybe he could release his bloodlust that way. Instead of say...her or another like her.

As he uttered the next words, the gamma beamed and nodded, still keeping her pace. "I can almost taste it.."

Yakobi
A large devious grin formed on Cathal's maw, as his head lowered slightly, nose pointed towards the ground. This grin however was not as one would asume. It was Cathal's own, not his darker half's. The male enjoyed hunting, the sport of it, taking down another creature. He wasn't sure why, but he loved it. Cathal only hoped that it wasn't due to his darker half rubbing off on him.

He licked his chops, his pace slowing, claws digging into the earth. Quickly he skidded to a stop, a doe just off in the distance. His head lowered, tail swaying slowly behind him. His shoulders stiffened, as he stood there in a stance looking as if he were ready to leap.

'Yesssss...About time. Blood will soon run down our throat. Warm blood. Tasty blood...'

ChevalBunita

Fuega followed suit and as soon as her icy blue eyes saw the doe she let her own Chesire cat grin slip to her features. She looked back over to Cathal and at once her smile faltered. She thought she knew him, both sides of him. That by now she had it all figured out. Which was which. But this grin, the one he wore now. It was new. Like a geniune smile that intruiged her.

She said nothing of it however and continued on, ready to attack when needed. Ready to stay by his side, even if.....even if the beta's darker half should maul its way through.

Yakobi
The grin upon his face grew larger, as he lifted his paws one by one, quickly placing them back onto the ground. His yellow and faded blue orbs were fixed upon the doe, though he could only see though his yellow eye. He opened his mouth, prepared to speak with the female, yet no sound came from his throat.

'You're taking far to long Cathal! By the time you lunge for that creature's neck, it'll be long gone!' the voice fumed within his head. And soon the male could feel his body being pushed forward, leaping towards the doe.

Within moments the darker side of Cathal had taken down the doe, not without getting a few kicks from the beast first. The doe's blood dripped down his maw, his own blood flowing down his side near his hip. He cackled, to himself completly forgetting about the female.

Slowly his cackling ceased, as the true Cathal began to regain control of his body. He shook his head, his hind leg twitching. He turned his gaze towards where Fuega stood, an appologetic look embedded his features. He hadn't met to lunge after the doe like that, his darker half had really gotten a hold of him.

Fuega/Cathal - Try to Understand

ChevalBunita

Fuega stopped when he lurched forward, the beta's body flying at the doe and then tearing it apart. She grimaced when the deer's hoofs kicked backwards and into the male. Instantly the gamma's heart begin to beat hard against her chest. She wondered if he was alright, if he was hurt. But, mostly she wondered if she had ever seen this much blood before in her life. She thought not.

The crimson ran along the now dead animals length, as if streaks of coating trying to wash over it. Once she was sure the coast was clear, and near saddned by the look Cathal was giving her, the red one trotted over, her head cocking to the side slightly.

"Are you alright?" she asked tentively, not touching on her displeasure at the pleasure he had taken in killing the animal. Not yet at least.

Yakobi
Cathal blinked, as he gazed into Fuega's icy blue eyes. Why wouldn't he be alright? It wasn't until he thought about it, his leg still twitching lightly. His gazed turned towards the wound the doe had given him upon his flank. He nodded slowly to the female, the wound was only so deep and he han't really noticed it. "I'm fine." The scars covering his body indicated that he had oviously recived worse wounds, which in the end could have been why he hadn't quite noticed the blood flowing from his new wound.

Sitting down upon his haunches, he continued to look to his wound. It was almost as if it were completly numb, unable to send any feeling though the beta's body. "S'not too big." he uttered speaking about his wound and licking his chops. The little bits of blood that never quite made it onto his tongue smeered into the tan and cream fur upon his maw.

"So sorry about running ahead like that."

ChevalBunita

Despite his utterings of being 'fine' the red one still winced slightly at all the blood. "Here let me see.." she muttered, padding over to him. She looked at his wound, eyes intense and so much emotion showing over to him. As gently as she could she placed a paw on his side, pearing at the various other scars that littered his body. With one head nod to indicate it wasn't extremely bad she walked back over to the meal he had caught for them.

"Thank you," she muttered, before grabbing hold of the doe's neck and dragging it more to Cathal with some difficulty. "Here," she said in soft tones, "Eat something.."

Yakobi
Cathal winced as Fuega placed her paw upon him, more from her touch then from any pain inside him. His yellow eye then darted to what the female did next. He cracked a smile watching the female struggle slightly in pulling the doe over to him.

Lifting a forepaw he shook his head. "No, no. By all means you first." The smile upon his features only grew, his cream and sky blue tail brushing against the ground behind.

'Shall we rip her throat next Cathal? Or are you going to keep up this little game of friends?' his darker half's voice echoed though his mind, only causing the male to scowl.

ChevalBunita

Fuega smiled back at him, her icy eyes missing the flickering in the male's. The one that said that he was internally speaking with himself. Maybe it was the hunger that was starting to make her miss things such as this. It was no matter. For now....for now she was hungry and here was a fine meal placed in front of her. She looked at Cathal once before turning her head and digging her jaws into the doe's side. She half closed her eyes slightly as the warm flesh and blood began to fill her belly, jaws working hard to savor every last morsel.

She turned head slightly mid chew and swallowed before speaking. "Good meat ...join me now?"

Yakobi
A grin swiftly replaced the smile upon Cathal's maw, not his own, but his other half's. 'Now would be the perfect time to attack, Cathal. You should do it you know. We weren't men to let anyone live. Why should this female me spared from out destiny?'

Completly ignoring the voice within him, he lowered his snout quickly biting off a piece of meat and scarfing it down. The warm blood tricking down his throat, more from his jaws and down his neck. The meat was indeed good, warm and filling. Something he wouldn't mind stuffing himself with. Slowly he took another bite, this time slowly swallowing it.

"It is good." he nodded in agreement with Fuega.

'Ah, that's good. Perhaps after out meal we can discuss things.'

Fuega nodded once more and then continue with her feasting. She had never had this before, to dine with another of her kind. Even though Cathal was such a strange one she still, in some ways, appreciated his company. He seemed to be getting better at keeping his inner voice tucked away and that was something she could admire.

Finally taking her full she licked her chops, the last remnants of blood, and took a few steps back. She stretched once, loving the way her now meat filled belly stuck out slightly, and then she lay on the ground. Her red furred head resting on her paws awaiting Cathal to finish as well.

Yakobi
The beta licked his chops, continuing to dine upon the, now disasembled doe. His yellow eye glanced upward as he poked his nose into the meat to pull out a bite sized peice, noticing Fuega had taken her fill and stepped back. Noting that he glanced back down towards the meal.

A short while after he had taken his fill, less then gracefully ploping down onto his haunches, tail wagging slowly behind him. Licking his chops once more he ridded any left over blood that was upon his snout, the blood however that had tricked down his neck would remain until he decided it was time to roll about in a stream or some other body of water.

'Mmm...Now where was I?' the voice within him slured, sounding quite pleased. 'Ah yes, if we weren't full right now...Eating her would be in order. Though I supose ripping her apart and leaving her for the crows would work just as well.'

The male let out a low growl, wishing he'd get the hint that he was not planing upon killing the female at all.

ChevalBunita

Fuega lay there a few moments, resting peacefully on her paws and letting her stomach set. She too still had bits of blood speckled on her fur, but with her coloring and how little blood there was it was very hard to notice. She let her tail trail back and forth across the ground as she watched Cathal with vague interest. Her interest however peaked when the low growl escaped his snout. She felt her heart rate began to quicken, but it was not out of fear. No, she was past the point of feeling fear with this wolf, for now...now she felt something else. Concern maybe? Companionship? She knew not. Only that the feeling was there and was strong.

Raising herself up a little she let her icy orbs study him a moment. "Cathal?" she questioned softly, "What is it?"

Yakobi
"Nothing..." he uttered quickly as Fuega asked him what was wrong. What was left of blue and cream ears pressing back agaisnt his skull. Lifting a hind paw he scratched at his neck, little bits of meat that had gotten tangled into his plet dropping out onto the ground.

"Go ahead, tell her what's wrong Cathal. I'm sure she'd love to know."
'What...?"

The male was taken aback a confused look plastered all over his face. Both voices of his had come from him. Both his halves were in control of his vocals. It wasn't that it had never happened before, but it was a rare occurance. And an odd one at that. At least when he spoke to himself he didn't look as crazy as when two voice came from his body and spoke.

"Well this is rather odd." the darker voice of Cathal spoke out.

ChevalBunita

Fuega blinked and raised herself up completely. Here it was, the part she was dreading. The part were Cathal truly, and truly let it be known what was wrong with him. His better and darker self waging wars amongst themselves. She stretched slightly and stood to her full height, her fur blowing with the wind slightly as she looked over at him. She had wanted to lay about and enjoy her meal in his company, but alas it was not to be. That was okay however, this was more important.

As the dark half spoke. And she could tell them apart by now, she let out a low growl. Not as a warning or threat, but only to show that she was serious. "Don't ruin this," she said smoothly, her voice coming out fearless and strong. "Don't you ruin him.

The red one was speaking directly to his darker half, without fear or care of what he might do to her. She just wanted Cathal to be okay.

Yakobi
Cathal's brows furrowed, a grin spreading across his face. "Ruin him?" he snickered, "Hun, Cathal here is already ruined." A sudden 'tch' sound came from the male, as his paws shuffled upon the ground. It was obvious the better half of Cathal did no appriciate that comment.

"Besides how do you know that I'm not the real owner for this body? how do y-"
"It's not hard to tell."

At this point Cathal was growing to himself, both his good half and bad. The tip of his tail flicked slowly, as the better half of the beta was in control of the rest of his body.
PostPosted: Wed Jul 26, 2006 2:51 pm

ChevalBunita

Fuega let out another growl at his comment and merely muttered, "He isn't ruined." Other then that she couldn't think of what to say. Sure, the wolf had scars etched across his body, his ears and eye were a tell tale sign of the depth of Cathal's wounded sole. But, despite all that the red one saw something in the beta that she truly loved through and through. And that's when it hit her. That she was becoming attached to the male. She was beginning to lean on their fellowship and she wasn't going to let the dark within him ruin all that.

At the rest of his comments, and seeing him constantly push and pull within himself, the gamma let out another growl. "Then what are you without him?" she asked his darker half, "Hmmmmm? What would you be without him? " she sneered and her icy blue eyes flashed dangerously, "You'd be nothing but a poor puppy playing a wolf's game..."

Yakobi
Cathal's eyes shut, the white eye like marks above his real eyes standing out. It was as if those marks were the eyes for the male's darker half. "I'm plently without him," he snarled eyes shooting back open, though the sound of the snarl soon stilled.

"He's rather rude..Isn't he?" Cathal gave a wary smile, his cream and sky blue tail curling around his hind leg. The wind gently blowing though his fur.

"Me? Rude?" the darker voice uttered, the voice filled with sarcasim. "Cathal, I'm hurt. And I do hope you realize I'm just as rude as you are."

ChevalBunita

With a soft sigh Fuega approached him, her soar mood almost completely diminished. "Boys...boys," she said dismissing the darker half's first comment, "No arguing please." She finally took the remaining steps to get to him and gave him a soft nuzzle, just barely grazing him at all. "How about you both need each other, hm?"

Yakobi
Cathal's head moved back as Fuega gently nuzzled him, though she barly touched at all. His lip curled, as he growled towards the female. "Hey! What the hell was that for?" the beta's growl grew louder, as his darker half wished he had control of Cathal's body to lunge at Fuega for such an act.

Grunting, the growl stoped. "Don't mind him," he frowned, more to himself then the female. "Though I think I'm more of stuck with him then needing him. Does nothing but cause touble."

A chuckle escaped the male's throat, "Cathal, Cathal, Cathal. I don't cause trouble, I keep us alive. Besides if I remember correctly it wasn't me that went on a rampage when we were..." he paused thinking for a moment. "How old were we then? ..Not that it matters. But all I know is that it wasn't me who went on that little rampage."

ChevalBunita

Fuega rolled her eyes slightly at the growl. "It was nothing," she stated as she pulled away and settled herself on the ground, still near him. She laid her back on her paws, though lifted her head up once the better half spoke. As the two sides of him continued on their conversation, her interest was peaked. She sat up on her haunches entirely.

"a rampage?" she asked, cocking her head to the side, "Oh do tell..."

Yakobi
Cathal's head lowered, his teeth gritted, why did his darker half have to bring up that. Or all things he could have mentioned, and now Fuega wanted to know about it.

He shifted around upon his haunches nervously, unsure of what to do. "I..." he stammered, yellow eye shifting downwards. "I'd really rather not talk about it Fuega..."

Inside Cathal's darker half was laughing, this was splendid. The female would find out what happened and then she'd finally be afraid of him. Even if it was his better half, that she would fear. "It had to do with, when we lead a pack." he smirked, eyes narrowed.

"Shut up!" Cathal barked at himself, he really didn't want to go over the story.

ChevalBunita

Feuga blinked once and then nodded in sympathy, "It's okay. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." Her head rested on her paws once more, the red one clearly debating with herself on what to do with Cathal. Where lines were drawn, and what made his darker half appear. She now accepted both sides to him as a whole package, and she really didn't mind that. However, the darker side of him was clearly against her. Clearly the dark side would love nothing better then to see her body strewn to pieces like the poor deer.

"Cathal," she finally voiced, in the softest tones, "Whatever it was.....I don't care. The past is the past, right?" Her icy blue eyes suddenly dropped as her own memories came to float inside her head. Memories of being shunned by parents and a pack that did not want her. "We've all done things we regret..."

Yakobi
"Thank you..." he uttered softly, relieved that he didn't have to tell Fuega anything about his past. Or at least not until he felt up to it. That alone was somewhat comforting, but now he had to find a way to keep his darker half to keep his mouth shut.

"But I'm sure she'd find it so intersting Cathal. You really should tell. Or perhaps we should all trade stories." he cackled, tail swiftly thumping against the ground.

Gently he pushed himself up onto his feet, padding slowly over to the female and sitting down once more. He was trying his best to ignore his other half who currently shared his vocals.

ChevalBunita

"Anytime," she muttered at his thanks, before resting her head once more, letting her belly wane off its fullness. She looked over at him once the darker half spoke, once again feeling sorry for poor Cathal. She wasn't sure how she would feel if she was constantly have to go against herself. And whatever it was that he had done in the past, whatever it might be, she knew that it was bad. But, she wasn't going to press. Instead she turned the darker half's words over in her mind, smiling breifly once Cathal sat down once more, closer to her.

"Oh you wouldn't want to hear any of my stories," she said nodding once, "Very boring...."

Yakobi
Streaching out his forelegs, he slowly slid down so that he was laying upon his stomach. A weak smile spread across his maw, the beta didn't know what to say now. He felt as if he was causing the female so much trouble and grief. After all not many enjoyed his company, not where there was two of him living in one body anyways. Which in the end may have explained why so many that he met ended up dead.

"Oh? You know I think I might want to hear these boring stories." the male grined, poking his nose up against the female's. A sly look plastered itself upon his features. His dark half was plotting something, what exactly even the better half of Cathal wouldn't know.

ChevalBunita

Fuega chuckled slightly, not catching the fact that the darker half might be plotting against her. Perhaps it was because she enjoyed his company or perhaps that she was being naive about the whole thing. Either way she merely nodded her red hair, her icy eyes twinkling slightly and then as memories began to poor in the light that shone ever so brightly seemed to fade from her orbs slightly.

A light shrug graced her shoulders, "My parents..." she said speaking in quiet and still tones. "They wanted a boy, a good healthy offspring, but instead they only got a lone female...." her voice trailed off as she looked off into the distance, "After I was old enough and after I kil..." she caught herself quietly and blinked a few times, "after they passed on the pack...." she stopped a gave another shrugging, "The pack turned on me. I was rooted off cast to the side. I spent the rest of my time wondering restlessly." After her story was told, she rested her head once more. "Told you it was a boring story.."

Yakobi
He watched the lights in her blue eyes go from bright to dim as she told her story. "I see..." he began, crossing his paws. "Sad story." he nodded his head, it was horrible that the pack had turned on her, that her parents had died, and from the way things seemed that she wasn't entirly wanted for being a female.

"It's only boring if you never went back for revenge. Any blood in this story of yours?"

ChevalBunita

"Oh revenge was to be had," she said nodding quickly, her icy blue eyes connecting with his mismatched ones once more. "Blood as well..." Her voice trailed off once again and she ticked her head towards the now fly ridden carcus of the doe, watching for a few beats. The blood and meat hanging off from the body reminding her of her past, again and again, reminding her of what she had done. "It was me," she said finally, her features indicating that she was still rapt up in forgotten things. She never tore her eyes away from the doe, her mind's eye turning the dead beast into her slain parents.

"I did it," she said finally, admitting something she had never told another soul before. She finally turned to look at Cathal fully, her eyes showing intensitiy and fire behind the blue. "I killed them...."
PostPosted: Wed Jul 26, 2006 2:56 pm

Yakobi
A large devious grin made it's way onto Cathal's snout, whether it was Cathal's own grin or his darker half's was up for debate. Perhaps Fuega wasn't so bad after all, unless of course she was lying, but even so that meant she wasn't all good. "'Bout time we met someone who has nothing against revenge."

A sudden booming laugh brust from Cathal's throat, "Briliant!" his dark voice cackled, his cream tiped tail flicked up and down. "Not bad for one who's as week as you are-"

"Seem." corrected his better half, not wanting to say that Fuega was weak.

ChevalBunita

"I am not, nor do I seem weak," Fuega said quickly, looking over at Cathal with a sort of deviant look, her jaw set out just slightly. "Besides, I'm not proud of what I've done, and I don't really condone it, it's just..." Her eyes flashed dangerously, as she thought about it, the usual light blue took on a more darker wild tone. She let out a low throaty growl, directed at no one in particular.

"They deserved it, their blood ran freely and it was completely just! Revenge should be had if it was needed and...and," she stood up, her fur starting to stand on edge and her eyes turning into slits. "I'd do it again if I had the chance! They were horrible to me, and I'm....I'm glad their rotting in the Earth now" she added, spitting out the last part in almost disgust.

Yakobi
"Oh you do hun." he smirked, pushing himself up onto his paws, so that his head would be above hers. "Very weak." he chuckled, gazing into her fire filled eyes. "You've got to enjoy the kill, not care about it. You've got to feel proud about it."

The beta blinked his deul coloured eyes, gently rubbing his head under the female's. "It's alright." he uttered softly. "Far better reason then I ever had for killing another."

ChevalBunita

It was then that the gamma realized she had been shaking while she was speaking. She took in a deep labored breath and then looked over at Cathal while his darker half spoke to her. Enjoy it, she wasn't so sure about that. How could anyone enjoy bringing harm or pain or even death to another. No, no...she could never enjoy such an act. Maybe in a way she could appreciate it or respect it, and she could even see where it was needed such as in her case. But, she would never revel in it.

As Cathal's head rubbed under her own she half closed her eyes slightly. Needing the comfort more then anything. "Thank you," she managed finally to calm her nerves.

Yakobi
Cathal nodded, quickly taking a few steps towards the side. He tilted his head up towards the sky, glancing at the leaves attached to the large tree branches that hung overhead. Turning his head back towards the female, a large malicious grin appered upon his features. "We can teach you." he uttered licking his chops. "Both, Cathal and I enjoy it so much....Infact it's the only thing we do."

The malicious grin refused to be removed from the beta's maw, even as the better half of the male began to speak. "Now, that's not entirly true." sure almost always Cathal was off filling his blood lust somewhere, but that didn't mean he always was doing such a thing. "I am standing here talking to Fuega, am I not? And last I checked she was still breathing."

A chuckle escaped his throat as the grin only seemed to grow. "Quite true Cathal, but had I control over our body right now I doubt she'd have any breath left in her."

The beta only managed to roll his eyes, trying to rid himself of that grin, which seemed to have decied to sew itself to him and stay. Or at least remain until of of Cathal's halves got full control of his vocals.

ChevalBunita

Had it been just a few hours earlier or the first time the two had met, Fuega would have probably been filled to the brim with fear right about now. Instead Fuega merely let a light shrug grace her shoulders at his wretched comment. "What would happen if you did kill me?" She asked his darker half, only showing the vaguest bit of concern for her well being. "Who would listen to your war stories, who would you have? Nobody, and as much as a brute as you are," she continued, "I know you can't refuse being a braggart as well. No, no....try to make me fear you..it won't work. Even if you have me laying dead at your feet it still won't suffice for what you really want."

The red gamma stopped speaking for a moment, her deep mind now working in over drive. Her icy blue eyes continued with the same fire, though it now look darker, more vacant. She thought once more of what her so called 'family of wolves' did to her. The wheels turned over and over inside her head as she thought how nice retribution would be against them. Finally she voiced what was on her mind. "No...what you need Cathal," she said looking back over to him, "Is a good masacre...."

Aside from needing revenge, maybe the beta was beginning to rub off the red one after all.

Yakobi
The beta's fur stood on end, his brows furrowing as his malicious grin was swiftly replaced with a scowl. He wanted to lunge at her. Bite his jaws down on her neck, spill her blood upon the Earth, but his body would not allow such a thing. Not when his better half had control of it. Not unless he could talk his better half into lunging at her. Something he doubt would happen when sharing the body's vocals.

"We spent all that time in isolation...For this?!" the male spat, the remains of his ears pressing back against his skull as much as they could. "All that time and all we manage to find is a female with a mouth on 'er!" he snarled, "And tell me, hun. How do you know what I want?!" His legs twitched as he fought with his better half for control of their body.

Slowly Cathal moved closer to the female, his face in front of her's. He made sure to keep enough distance between them so that if his darker half attempted to bite at Fuega he wouldn't be able to reach. His yellow orb gazed into her darkened icy eyes. It looked as though she was engulfing herself in thoughts, memories, anything that poped into her mind.

"Right about now, it seems that both of us could use one."

The male grunted. "The three of us?" his darker half snarled once more. "More like the two of us Cathal, this female wouldn't be capable of such things!"

ChevalBunita

Fuega blinked once, not breaking her gaze away from his despite the fact that he could probably kill her where she stood if he chose to do so. No, she wasn't worried about that. For now, the male had opened up old wounds within her that she had managed to ignore and hide for so long. "Frankly, I don't care what you want," she spat visciously, "I like you Cathal...but whether both sides of you hate me or just one...I don't care." At his next comment she merely scoffed.

"You don't know what I'm capable of...." The wheels in her mind continued to turn, her eyes now darting around lividly. Finally she had reached her decision. She needed someone to pay dearly for the hurt that they caused her, for the pain that carried over into her adult life. She had ignore those feelings for too long. "Stay if you want," She spoke to the Beta, her chin upwards slightly in resolution. "I'm going to get what I should have gotten long ago..."

Yakobi
"We want nothing more then you dead!" he growled deeply, his snout almost pressing up against Fuega's. "And-" his better half quickly stoped his darker half from continuing.

"He may not like you." he scowled more to himself then to the gamma. "But I do." the male attempted a smile, but his lips refused to move.

"Tch, Cathal you're a fool." he snaped at himself, his body wincing. The muscles upon his left side shooting pains though his body. Of all times for his muscles to act up. His lips curled, yellow and faded blue orbs glancing downward. He let out a growl, not to Fuega or himself, but to his body. Almost as if he were threatening it to cesse the pain.

"What you're capable of.. he muttered still growling at his body. "We're sure that whatever you're capable of isn't so great, hun. Now what are you planing...?"

ChevalBunita

Fuega grinned wildly when the male stated he had liked her. So that was a mutual feeling? Well, that was surely good to know. As the male winced and his body twitched in pain Fuega was instantly concerned. But, it looked like the beta was in control...for the most part, however much it did hurt.

At his next question she began wagging her tail, thoughts of justice flinging around inside her mind. "I'll admit it Cathal," she told both sides, "I'm not as bloodthirsty as you nor am I as strong or agile....I can't get as good as revenge as you can....I however," she let a calculated look slip to her features, "Am more of a planer. A thinker. I killed my parents in the dead of night, without leaving a trail or scent about so that my name could not be attatched to their deaths. It was merely the suspicion and already present hate that got me thrown out." She looked back towards him and then to the doe as it began to already rot near them. Her mind still debating once again.

"What I'm planning is to get my retribution in the most deadly way possible."

Yakobi
The beta's left hind paw lifted, quickly kicking back against the earth. A sudden jolt of pain shot though him, before the pain slowly subsided. His body soon relaxed causing the male to let out a sigh of relief. He'd have to watch how stressed his musckles became if he wanted to keep that from happening again this day.

A blue and tan brow raised as Fuega spoke of being a planer of sorts. "Not bad. But you loose all the fun if they don't fight back." he smirked, giving his head a shake so that he'd forget about his subdued pain.

"Besides it's much more fun when you get others attacking you because of it." quite an odd thing for the better half of Cathal to say, but speaking on the topic of blood and revenge it seemed that both sides could utter something of such.

"Most sensable thing you've said all day, Cathal." the beta's darker half grined. "But if you are planing this little revenge of your's you must let us come watch. Perhaps you'll get your throat torn out."

ChevalBunita

Fuega sighed as Cathal once again told her what she was doing right and wrong, and while his eyes reminded her that he was the one that had all the power and was in control. But, who was she to deny him? Not after everything she was starting to feel towards the other and not after what a useful ally he was, despite his...strangness. She looked at his various scars and cuts once more, deciding that no, she really didn't see the fun in others attacking because of it. But, that was his fun, not hers.

She padded more over to wolf leaning her head up towards his mangled ear. She snapped her jaws once, to the air, but still close to him.

"I'm sure you'd like that wouldn't you," she bated in a near whisper, "See my body strewn about, the blood pouring from it." She pulled away and nodded her head off towards the distance. "Come if you'd like..." With that she began to stulk away.

Yakobi
The beta watched as the female leaned towards him, her snout by his sky blue and cream tattered ear. Quiet whsipers soon flooded into his head as she spoke to him. "Oh, I'd love to to see that, hun." he beamed, a crooked smile upon his snout, tail wagging happily behind him. "I'd love nothing more then to have you ridded from my life that you managed to squirm your way into." The beta shut his eyes, his darker half trying to imagine what it would be like to see the female throw upon the grow, blood flowing into the eart. Dead. It would be nothing but bliss for the male's darker half if he could witness something of such.

Opening his eyes he watched as Fuega began to walk off, his tail stilled, as he was hesitant to follow the female. He didn't want to give his darker half the pleasure of seeing her get hurt, or worse killed as he so wished. Her red figure slowly began to grow smaller in his sight, causing the wolf to scamper forward slightly before stoping in his tracks. He wasn't sure what to do, if he should follow or not. Of course there was a part of him that wished to follow, not to see if she'd get hurt, but to make sure she remained safe from whatever she had planed.

"Are we going or not, Cathal?" his dark voice snaped, a low growl erupting from his throat. Had he control of their body he'd have followed, but then again he'd have riped her apart by now had he control.

"It's not your decision." the male answered back to his own question. His head lowered, yellow eye darting from the ever dwindling red speck in the distance to the ground beneath him. What to do. What to do.

Taking a deep breath, he bounded forward quickly catching up with the slow walking female. "Fuega." he smiled warily. "He may wish to see you die from this," he nodded refering to his other half, "but I'm here to make sure you're ok. Like a bodyguard of sorts."

ChevalBunita

Fuega was already walking away, almost completely outwards until she heard her name. She stopped and turned to him, almost expecting him to follow but not quite sure if he would really. She was happy that he was coming along. She honestly had no Earthly idea if she could do it on her own, and in truth she knew that she probably couldn't. So having him around was good, and of course there was the fact that she just liked having him around.

As the true Cathal spoke, she grinned, her tail swaying happily. "I'm glad for that," she said nodding, "With you around I'm sure nothing can befall me."

Fuega/Cathal - In Battle.

Yakobi
The beta smiled, tail wagging swiftly behind him, and he padded up next to her. "Wonderful." his voice was plesant, pleased that the female was happy to have him around.

"Oviously that with us around, nothing bad could happen. We have never lost a fight." came a snide remark from Cathal's darker half. The look upon his face was cocky to say the least, though that look was soon replaced with a blank stare. The stare was not ment for the female, but for himself, even if he wouldn't be able to see the look that attacth itself on his features.

"Well see, that's not entirly true. I have lost a fight here and there...I have won more then I've lost however." Prying his gaze from Fuega, the beta looked towards the direction she had been heading. "So where exactly are we going?"

ChevalBunita

Fuega continued to listen to the male brag to her and to his inner voice. She couldn't help but grin at it. From the scars and managled ears to the eye she knew that the beta probably won his far share of fights. He wasn't dead, so she could believe that all survived the fate of no longer being alive. Yes, yes. A useful ally indeed. As Cathal voiced his question Fuega nodded her head towards a wooded area just ahead that seemed darker then the place they were at now.

"Just through there and along the stream," she said as she padded along. "That's where they will be..."

Yakobi
Cathal snickered, walking along next to her. From what he knew of Fuega so far was that well, she was pretty gutsy for a female. Or so the darker half of Cathal believed. What the better half of him thought was something to be wondered, as if he had made an oppion he wasn't revealing it yet, or perhaps he just thought the same.

"You stalk everyone that wrongs you often?" the male sneered, his tone quite sarcastic. "How exactly do you know they'll be there? They could have moved." Oh how his darker half would love to see the female's facial expression had the ones she wished dead had gone.

ChevalBunita

"I stalk every that deserves it yes," she said airily as her icy blue eyes darted back and forth in front of her, looking for an attack that might come at a moment's notice. "I know they'll be there," she said with a quick head nod as she padded along. "I've been watching them with quite some time," she said with a slight sneer.

She stopped for a moment, ever thinking. "I've been wanting this for some time now, all my life really..." she let her cold as ice eyes fall to the ground, "I just haven't done anything about it..." her eyes raised up once more, meeting his as a wry grin caught in her features "Until now...."

Yakobi
Cathal paused in his steps just simply staring at Fuega, as if she were insane, Which was indeed something to say, seeing as the beta himself wasn't mentaly alright. "You actually stalked them?" he asked, an amused tone lingering in his voice. "I'm asuming you had nothing better to do."

His darker half soon cut in, the amused look changed to a devious one. "Killing them is something you should have done before. Then you wouldn't needed to have stalked them, hun."

His tail swayed slowly as he padded up to the gamma, who herself had stoped. "So when we wrong you, plan on stalking us to?"

ChevalBunita

Fuega gave out a short laugh, "Hm yes, nothing better to do. Other then roam around for something I couldn't find." She thought about it a moment, deciding that maybe the male was what she was looking for all along. A compainion to take her mind off of what had happened to her, or help her seek justice for it.

When Cathal's darker half began to walk she listened for a moment and then chuckled slightly at his question, beginning to walk off once more. "Cathal, you've threatened to kill me in some way or another since I met you...I believe I'm past the point of stalking..."
PostPosted: Wed Jul 26, 2006 3:48 pm

Yakobi
"And what exactly is it that you can't find?" he questioned, tliting his head to the side, yellow eye darting ahead before falling back upon the female. "Not much out here. Definatly nothing I'd be interested in searching for."

The male's darker half chuckled, there was something he and the owner of the body they werer both traped in were searching for. Or perhaps searching for wasn't the proper word. They were more of strolling along until they finally came across this..Thing. Something they didn't care or not if they ever saw once more, though they had debated searching for. "There is one thing.." his sly toned voice rang out. "Our brother." he laughed, much more silent then anything.

Grining towards Fuega, he couldn't help but push his face up against hers. "Oh, hun I'm not done threatening you yet. It'll get worse. I promise." he paused, before lightly cackling to himself. "Perhaps I should stalk you. You're so much fun to threaten."

ChevalBunita

"It doesn't matter what I could't find, seeing as I've now found it," she said coyly, smirking at him. She continued on until he mentioned something about his brother. She stopped then and looked over at him, her brow furrowed slightly in interest. But, the beta didn't touch on it further so she supposed she wouldn't pester him about it. Like everything that happened in the male's life she was ready to listen when he felt like speaking.

Hearing his next words she couldn't help but give a short chortle and begin walking again. "I'm glad I could amuse you so," she said with the wry grin still plastered across her features. She stopped again her body stilling as she came across the river. "Just over there...."

Yakobi
The male only blinked as Fuega explain that she had already found what she was looking for. A puzzled look made its way onto his face, as he mearly stared at the female. What was she going on about? It didn't seem to hit him that he was what she was refering to. "You found it?" he spoke, the puzzled look on his features only growing. How strange.

Cathal ceased his movement as the female stilled. His duel eyes looking ahead, glimpsing the river with his good eye. "Plan on dying in this little event?" he sneered.

ChevalBunita

Fuega caught the look of confusion in Cathal's face, but she wasn't going to get into it now. In time he could probably figure it out on his own, if he didn't secretly know it already. She began walking along the river and then choice the higher part to pad through it and onto the other side, shaking herself off once she had a solid foot on the ground.

She looked over her shoulder and finally answered his question, "Oh no Cathal. I wouldn't dream of dying today....I know you want my death to be at your paws alone."

Yakobi
Cathal followed behind the female slowly. Trudging though the river, the water flowing though his fur and rubbing against his flesh. Quickly he bounded out the river, not bothering to shake off his pelt, dispite the fact that it was now dripping wet. Water beads clinging to his fur, gracefully dripping off and onto the earth.

"That's rather true. I'd prefer to be the one to kill you, but don't let me stop you from dying today. Go ahead and expire." he nodded to her before padding further away from the water's edge. "So how many exactly will you be fighting?"

ChevalBunita

"four females," she said hurrying along, "and the alpha...." At the last part her voice lowered because she knew deep within her heart of hearts that such a match could never be made. She was a low gamma, what chance did she have? But, she wasn't thinking clearly anyway.

"There used to be more," she said usually, keeping her pace. "Rest of
'em died in one way or another..."

Yakobi
"And you plan on facing them all at once?" the male questioned, almost letting a booming laugh slip from his throat. "And here I was thinking that you might actually keep your word about not dying today. Though I supose it can't be helped. Not if you plan on taking down five wolves. And one of them being an alpha. Good luck with that." the beta's darker voice held up a joking tone as he spoke, though of course, the only thing he had really been joking about was his uttering of good luck.

His tail stilled as he looked on ahead, yellow eye gleaming, wondering just how strong exactly these wolves, of which Fuega spoke were. He could feel his legs tensing up, a sly grin upon his maw. Cathal was going to enjoy watching another fight for a change. Well unless, his assistance was needed, though he'd enjoy joining in the fight just as much.

"Too bad." he uttered softly, turning his gaze to the red female. "Would have been far more amusing had there been more then just five." He paused, sitting down upon his haunches for a moment. "So you know what exactly you're going to do? I'd much rather watch this fight then join in."

Fuega smiled airily, loving that Cathal took every thing at face value. "Tsk tsk, I told you I was a planner, didn't I?" She let her head tick up towards the sky, her icy eyes watching intently as the sky began to turn orange and purple with darker hues setting in, a blanket twisting into nighttime. "I'm not going to face them all at once....I'm going to lure them out one by one."

Yakobi
Cathal, lifted his snout, before it was thrust back downward as the male let out a loud sneeze. "You can't be that smart." the beta remarked, and quite rudely at that. "But by all means, let's see how you accomplish such a task." He couldn't help but pause for a moment, tilting his head back and shutting his eyes.

"They must all be idiots. Especially if they fall for anything you do to lure them out." Behind him his tail flicked slowly, the little beads of water that had build up upon it splattering into the dirt.

He shivered, but quickly stilled as the wind blew though his cold wet pelt. "I'm just asuming, but." he opened his eyes looking up at the diming sky. "You're going to use the darkness to your advantage?"

ChevalBunita

Fuega, for the most part, ignored Cathall's taunting. It was only when his better half spoke that she nodded her head wryly and added, "Why naturally..." She let her red head tick up towards the sky once more and then she stretched herself out. Letting her mind fully grasp what she was about to do and letting her muscles get ready to do what was needed. Once she finished her stretching routine she looked back at the male, her icy blue eyes twinkling towards him and him alone.

"Watch and learn," she said with a vindicitive grin. She trotted a few feet upwards, sniffing every so often to get a feel for who might be around her. She looked off in the distance and could see her first victim, just a speck against the horizon, but well enough to be seen regardless. Without cause or warning she circled a few times and then dropped to her side, letting out a few 'wounded wolf' cries. As expected one of the wayward wolves was naturally obliged to see what the fuss was about.

Yakobi
Cathal let out a yawn, as Fuega streached seemingly getting herself ready for the task ahead of her. This would either be very boring, very exciting or just a pain. Perhaps all three things would mix together, but the male doubted that.

As Fuega grined and trotted off, he quietly took a few steps forward before freezing, so that he'd get a better view of what exactly the gamma was going to do.

He grined as the red wolf floped down onto her side and began to cry out like a wounded one of their kind would. "She's not bad." he uttered to his darker half.
"Oh please. We wouldn't go to such a cry. Only a fool would go see what was making such a racket. She's crazy." he snaped back at himself, brows furrowing.
"We'd go." Cathal protested with himself, what was left of his tattered ears flicking back. "Though either me or you, perhaps both of us would be going to put the wolf out of their missary. And you're one to call her crazy. Just look at us. Talking to ourselves."

ChevalBunita

Feuga continued with her mangled cries as the wolf began to approach, its body cautious against whatever it was that was making the calls. As the wolf came closer, the red gamma half closed her eyes, letting them take on glassy tones and her tongue lagged out to the side while her breath came out in short gasps. A very well done display of a dying wolf. The new wolf, a female as it were, began to chortle and laugh at Feuga's dead like body. And like Cathal expected her only wants was to stop the annoying wolf's cries and put Fuega out of her misery, or at least stop the whining.

But, as soon as this new female came too close, Fuega lunched her body up and latched her jaws around the femal's neck. Her canine's cutting right into the juggle. The whole thing took only a matter of seconds before Fuega's muzzle was turning darker shades of red with newly spilt blood.

Yakobi
A blue and tan brow raised as another female came over to check out Fuega as she continued to wail as though she were dying. The red female's wails were music to the darker Cathal's ears, though it pained him to know that she was simply faking it.

The beta licked his chops, watching the female clamp her jaws down upon the other wolf's neck, soon ending their life. "She's not bad." he chuckled, pushing himself to his haunches, finally shaking his pelt to get rid of the extra water that remained burried in his fur.

"Please, her apporach is all wrong. Not to mention this is rather boring."

ChevalBunita

It had been so long since Fuega took the life of another wolf that for a few moments she stay still in shock. The blood running down the sides of her mouth and dripping down to the grass below. She let go of the female stepped back, unnerved at the yellow eyes still being open and livid. It was as if she was still protesting her own death. The gamma let a shudder run through her body, almost getting lost in what just happened.

Cathal's words however, pushed her back to reality. "You really think this is boring?" She scoffed, licking the blood off her chops. "Then I'd like to see you do better... maybe you should get the second one."
PostPosted: Wed Jul 26, 2006 3:51 pm

Yakobi
Cathal let out a chuckle and nodded. "Boring indeed. I'd have thought you'd have been more creative with their deaths. Tell me it'll get more intersting when you kill the others." Grabbing one's throat in one swipe and killing them wasn't one of the most interesting things to witness.

"It's not too boring." the better half smiled, fighting with his darker self for their body's vocals. It was getting difficult with the both of them being able to use the vocals at the same time, but it was who got to speak first that was getting to him.

"Me? Kill the second one? You must be kidding if you wanted me to go and pretend I was dying. Besides this is your revenge, not ours." he scowled, eyeing the blood that was scattered upon the red female's maw.

ChevalBunita

"I knew it," she said to his darker half, her eyes narrowed and her jaw jutting out slightly. "You talk a big game Cathal, but when it comes to running it...there's nothing left. Just the talk. You don't have to feint to attack you know...there are other ways." She let her icy blue eyes look back into the horizon as a light wind picked up.

"The others will be picking that scent up soon. If you don't want to play then control your tongue?" she asked though it was more of a statement then an actual question.

Yakobi
His yellow eye twitched, the corner's of his lips lifted as he let out a deep growl towards Fuega. "WHAT?!" he bellowed, his forepaws lifting as he attempted to lunge at her, but his hind legs would not respond. "Darn it Cathal, give me control of this body!"

His legs twitched, as his muscles calmed, all but the muscles upon his face which seemed to be working overtime. "Just talk huh? You really think so?!" the snarl in his voice grew louder, his head lowered slightly as he wished he could lunge out and pull the female to the ground. "You enjoy testing my patiance don't you!"

The beta grunted, "Other ways, hmmmmm?" he smirked as his better half pushed away his darker half from their body's vocals. "What did you have in mind?"

ChevalBunita

Fuega inwardly panicked at Cathal's anger, she would have to remember to be more careful about not crossing his lines, though she was sure even he didn't know where those were drawn. On the outiside, however, she didn't even flinch. Instead she sighed and looked around again.

"Wade back through the river, get rid of the scent..." she said beginning to spiel her plan out. "Double back...by that time they'll be split up...looking for us..or me rather.. We rush in from opposite ends. There's only three. They'll be too scattered to fully attack back."

Yakobi
Cathal licked his chops, just thinking of tearing his fangs into the flesh of another wolf. Another wolf that he could kill and not be looked at in fear. It was almost a comforting feeling. His cream tiped tail swayed swiftly behind him, his plan for watching the red now blood stained female fight was not going to happen.

"Or we could just wait here for them to come then attack. Now wouldn't that be fun?" he snickered, it would have been at least more fun to do things that way for him. "If they don't attack back, it'll be over to quickly you see, hun. Having them attack back is a good thing."

ChevalBunita

Fuega thought it over a moment. She of course knew that Cathal would suggest this sooner or later. She just wasn't sure when. Well she supposed attacking them head on would be the more honorable thing to do. But, that raised one question...would she survive it? She wasn't sure. She knew Cathal would...he was crazy enough to get through anything. But would she? Deep down inside she knew Cathal would help her if needed, however would the darker side allow it? She wasn't sure.

But....now was as good as any to give herself over to fate. And for some reason she wanted to please Cathal, even it meant she would die because of it. Even if it was the dark in him that planned it. Against her better judgment she found herself nodded.

"Alright," she said quietly. "We'll try it your way..."

Fuega/Cathal - Take Down the Leader.

Yakobi
Had the female just agreed with him? He blinked, not quite knowing what to say, if she had well then...It was about time. But why would she have agreed to something like that. The female was crazy perhaps, or maybe it was because of his threats. No his threats never seemed to have such an effect like that before. This fact indeed puzzled the darker half of the male, though the true half didn't seem to notice.

"About time you agreed with me." he leered, holding his head up high. He looked towards the dead shewolf, at least a fly or two had arrived and began buzzing about. It never took long for the lesser creatures to notice free food.

It wasn't until Cathal truly decided to pay attention to what his darker half was saying to Fuega. "W-what?! Are you sure Fuega? You sure you'll be alright I mean...." he stammered, his eyes growing large in shock that she had agreed to something like that.

ChevalBunita

The female let a heavy sigh excape her snout, turning her head ever so slightly she could already hear the low growls beginning to come their way. There was no turning back now. She looked over at Cathal, her icy blue piercing his mismatched ones. She enjoyed hearing the concern in his voice, it made tiny pricklings spring up inside her stomach.

"Cathal," she said padding up and nuzzling him slightly, despite the fact that she knew it would irritate his darker half. "Don't worry about me...I can hold my own and if not..." she gave a small smirk, "well, you can lend a paw....or," a light shrug graced her shoulders. "Or I die....but..I'd rather die fighting along side you anyway..."

Yakobi
Cathal's body tensed hearing the faint growls echoing though the air. It was apperant that the other..Three did she say? Well the other wolves were coming for Fuega, and that meant he'd have to fight or let the female die. Thoguh he had already made up his mind far before then about fighting alongside the female, he couldn't help but feel a little doubt. As if fighting with her was not the right course of action. He shruged to himself, taking the doubt as something his darker half had placed in his mind.

His mind snaped back to the matter at hand as Fuega nuzzled him, her voice was rather bold for what was coming for them. He cracked a smile at the corner of his maw, but it soon vanished. "We'll see." he spoke in a gruff tone, not quite making it clear as to what exactly he had been responding to.

Swiftly he padded forward, his head held high as he jutted outward, a snarl spread across his features. His tail was wagging happily, as he awaited the wolves to come. This would be far more fun then taking down that deer earlier.

ChevalBunita

Fuega looked a lot more brave then she felt on the inside. She really had no idea what she was getting into, though deep inside she sorta enjoyed the not knowing what was to come part. She braced herself and began snarling as well, letting her ears go flat against her head as her snout twisting into something to be feared. Or so she hoped. She stay flanking Cathal as the wolfs soon approached.

They were a lot bigger then she had last remembered them. Or perhaps that was fear starting to take hold. She had no time to dwell on it as a female began to rush at her. Letting out a howl Fuega threw her body forward, teeth gnashing at whatever flesh they could find.

Yakobi
The beta snickered as the wolves approached, his teeth where gritted brows lowering as knitting themselves together. He was ready for anything, though he expected no challange from any of the wolves in this tiny pack. "Come on..." he spoke almost silently, his head lowering as he prepared himself for the battle. His muscles stiffed and his stance showing that he was prepared for any frontal attacks.

His yellow eye however caught sight of a female dashed towards Fuega, he wasn't concerned..Or maybe he was. Never the less that had pried his attention away for a moment and he was pushed over a female, atop his jaws snapping at his neck. "Well hello there." he uttered a deranged look upon his face as he soon let out a booming laugh. A laugh that belonged to the better half of Cathal, though it sounded just as frighten as any of his darker half's would have. That was most likly the only thing they had in common. A love for fighting, killing blood. At times when they were in such situations, it seemed that the two would fuse if one could call it that. Or perhaps the true Cathal would unleash his even truer self. It was almost immediate that the male pushed the female away, raming his head into the wolf's side. Chuckling to himself.

Allowing the female to get in a few bites, a few slashes, he backed off. His tail swaying as he felt energy flowing though him, energy as though he were mearly a young pup playing. Of course when Cathal had been a pup he had never gotten the chance to play. Since he was young he had been fighting, and perhaps somewhere in time he had made it in his mind that killing was a mere game. Something to do when you wished to play with another, last one standing was the winner. Not to mention that he truly lived up to his name, though he had only remembered few storied his father had told him. And why he had been named what he had.

In a matter of moments the beta found himself clentching the back of the opposing wolf's neck. Pushing her down into the ground. Blood washed onto his fangs as he listened to the wolf yelp, his teeth digging their way into her flesh. Blood. Warm blood. Wolf blood. This was a good fight.
