She got up and stood up near him. "Um.. ok..." She was apparently easily agreeable. Not like she was opposed at all to going on walks with anyone. She hadn't seen any of her former boypals in a while. This might be ok anyways, right? Still, though as rough as he looked; and though he had made a serious go at her, she felt like something about him really was all right. She didn't even remember or know where that idea came from, but she always trusted her first instinct. She rubbed the wetness and tears from her eyes pulling herself together. She was already calming down, and her feigning of drama also passed. "You do seem familiar to me...." She started to move closer so she was next to him as they started to walk. She watched him. His long flowing silver locks made her feel like she was in a daydream. Then, she had a flashing of a memory. A leering scientist stomping on her bouquet of flowers on the floor, and her sitting on the floor feeling devastated by it. It was sad and cruel. But, as soon as it came, it was shut up again. It made her shiver. Where were these things coming from? What was it about his presence that made the ghosts of her past come back to life?

He chuckled for a moment as she came closer to him. "What's wrong? It seems you have the same feeling as I do. Interesting how one such as yourself is interfering with my plans, but I somehow am fine with this choice of action. Maybe fate is trying to tell us something, but we're not understanding. It may be weird, but I feel it is somewhat true. Don't think me forward, I am just nothing more than a warrior who belongs to no family. I have been alone for a long time and being social is not one of my best talents. I would rather swing a blade at my enemy than to go into a topic of discussion. Sorry if that sounds weird, but it's quite true." He sighs for a moment as he tightens his shoulder guards.

Empathy was one of her greatest gifts. She could sit there all day with sad people and listen to their woes and tales of things gone awry in their lives. She would feel complete sympathy with them; and in the end, mingle her tears with them and share their happiness. In fact, in the old days of people who happened into her church to find solace for their aching souls, she always thought that was her purpose in life. She was there to help not only heal the earth as the rest of the Cetra people before her. She was there to help heal people in a way that reached a different level all together. She looked up at his warrior again, and she saw a man who was tired and had many many battles. "No, it's ok. You don't have to be overly social for me. I would never ask anyone to be anything other than themselves just for my sake." She did dodge the whole issue of him knowing her from somewhere. That was a thought that kept stinging in her mind as well; and it was driving into a dark part of her mind she hadn't visited in a long time. She wasn't sure whether or not she was ready for what happened once those memories were unleashed.
Still, she looked up at him about the whole plans. "Wait... what do mean I'm in the way of your plans? What plans?" She was kind of intrigued now. She was kind of nosy that way.

He chuckled once more, now louder than last. "Why, to destroy this world. Such a plan has been worked on for a very long time and I will see to it until the end, whether you get in the way or not." He took and stabbed it forcefully into the ground, causing small cracks from the ground to surround the blade. "This world is far too fragile." He shakes head in disappointment, wanting the ground to be tougher than this.

She didn't want to say anything; but the person who was by far and large responsible for the locking of many of her memories was a man who had managed to do much destruction to the world without even trying much. Just through his perverse desire to expand science. It actually made her feel sad for him. She wasn't so concerned with being in teh way or not being in the way. Regardless, she had always felt people who had conquestor type personalities usually were in some part of their life scarred. And, the part of their souls which could not find healing or relief were consumed by their anger and bitterness; thus swallowing them up in an evil ambition. Her thoughts weren't about what he wanted to do. Her feeling was that something was terribly wrong inside of him. She wondered if she could help him. After all, she was that kind of girl who if she found a hungry puppy; she would bring it in and feed it. If she found a bird fallen out it's nest, she would take it in and mother it. That was just her way to nurture and heal. "I don't see why I should get in your way. It would seem you're just going to do whatever you want. But, is that really what you want? So, even if you do destroy the world.. what then? What will you become?" Because to her understanding, life never came to an end. Even after people ended up in the lifestream. Their life force went on to give life to other things.

He releases his sword from the ground. "I will finally become tranquil knowing everything that brought me pain and hate will be gone in one final blow. This planet will pay once and for all and its destruction will bring me much relief. I've always managed to destroy many lands and creatures before, but I always wondered why I can't destroy the world. I will probably find or hear the answer soon enough." He sheathed his sword, looking at his hands for a moment.

She started to feel a little upset. Not angry at or with him, but she could feel that deep down something very bad had happened to him. What a wound was in his heart that couldn't be filled. She walked closer to him leaning against him just a little. Her hands wrapped around his that was close to her. "That's not true you know. That by killing and destroying everything around you will never give you the peace you need so badly. It's not possible to give oneself contentment through destroying everything around you. It's like a black hole. It's a vaccuum without end. It's just a cycle of bitterness in your soul; and it won't ever feel full." She hated to say that. What a doomsayer she was sounding like. "Your heart needs to find a healing. Your spirit needs something that cannot be found or quenched through this warpath you set yourself on." She looked at his hand at times and off to the side. She knew part of her told her she should be afraid; but she didn't feel afraid of him really. She did know that he could probably kill her at any given moment. Still, deep in her soul, something in her did know him. That same pain from long ago that ate at him; that same pain was something she carried in her. Maybe fate had brougth them together. Could the past be trying to push them together and reopen doors of things that were long since been over? But, then that might mean that though they were long past, it wasn't over. The grief that was given to them then had been present all their lives; and that grief was what needed to be laid to rest.

He once again stabbed his sword onto the ground, now kneeling on the ground once more, he began to soon realize that maybe this was the sign that he was looking for and that he should understand now before it is too late. "How do you know this? Have you also known the pain that I have been having lately? If you have, fix it now or be killed later because I can't stand the pain anymore." He was now breathing heavily, almost losing conciousness. He wondered how such an individual could help him if he needed assistance for he always thought that killing and destroying was the solution.

His inner turmoil was breaking through and was obviously to a point where he didn't even want to keep it locked down inside. Aeris thought that was at least a good sign. Wanting to find healing was the first step towards finding it. She stopped walking and moving. She turned around to where she was facing him, and she leaned over to hug him. "Unfortunately, that is the hard part and the thing I have relucted to do myself. We have to revisit the thing that hurt us; and we have to confront what it was that hurt us so much in the first place. Because even if you kill everything else; nothing can satisfy your anger like confronting the person who hurt you the most. I know that part of why my hurt. My mother died when I was very young. Her death was needless; but she gave her life to set me free from a very terrible place. She was hurt very badly. For me, it's the trying to remember what was so terrible and she managed to find a way for us to escape. I try to think about it; but it makes me apprehensive. Being around you is waking up that part of myself. Maybe we can help each other." She was now embracing his head against her abdomen.

He responded to her hug with one of his own. Now knowing that this may be a solution, he must first do what she asks of him because it may help ease his pain a little more than just destruction. "Agreed. We must do this together. I feel that it will answer all of the questions that I have been meaning to answer for a long time." He gets up and sheaths his blade. "Let's go. We both have much work to do and there is much to be done." He nods his head for a moment.

She could tell now that just being bossy was part of his nature. He was a natural born leader; and she could respect that in a person. He must have been used to just telling people what to do all the time. She thought it was cute which escaped her lips with a quiet "tee heee...." She covered her mouth bashfully. She followed after him. She wasn't sure what he meant by "work" if he meant they needed to revisit some things. But, she figured if he was willing to dig into his past; and it was somehow connected to her. She would be willing as well. It did make her feel apprehensious; but what else was there for it?

He looked around as he was walking, trying to notice anything that could help him. "Tell me if you know anything useful. I've never done this before." He looked at her for a moment with somewhat of a smile, then he faced his head forward once more to look around once again. Never has thought that it would be possible to find the source of his pain. It would be nice if it were true.

When she realized he was physically searching for this ambiguous source. She stopped walking and reached out to hold onto his arm pulling him back. "Yeah... Well, maybe we should just like.. sit down and make ourselves comfortable. I think us just being around each other is already waking up things that were long since forgotten. Well, maybe yours aren't forgotten; but yours consumes you. That kind of consumation can't go on forever. Pretty soon it will eat you inside out; so even if you did find tranquility, you wouldn't enjoy it cuz the part of you that would enjoy anything would be dead and hollow." She gritted her teeth having to say it. It was hard having to help people face impossible truths. She also had an impossible truth to face; but it might be easier with him. "Come over here..." She tugged his arm to go off towards a small pond in the garden. There was a large weeping willow tree that cast over it, and she wanted them to sit beneath it. It was a part of the garden that was hardly visited this time of year. As she pulled, her other hand reached down and plucked several flowers. Flowers helped her get her thoughts together.

He sat there and sighed for a moment. "You're right. Maybe the both of us can help eachother. I have a feeling that this might be stepping into the right direction." Chuckles at the sight of her picked flowers. "Is that a little hobby of yours or do you just do that for fun?" He was always intrigued by those who didn't seem to view anything the way that he does. He always liked either watching or killing those who share such ideals, but he didn't feel in the mood to do either this time. It felt like he found something that was lost within him. Maybe she is the answer in some way.

"Well, I have a gift to talk with the earth. I can talk to it and hear its voice. I love flowers. I can feel its lifeforce." She was just in her normal candid self now. Not overly and especially emotional about anything in particular, just friendly and sociable. She had started weaving the stems of the flowers together. "and, I guess flowers could be a hobby. But, I prefer to see them as my labor of love more than just a hobby." She smiled. She found that spot under the willow where she took a seat. It was close to the water, and its fresh scent made her feel at ease. The long life of the willow was like an age old friend with advice to lend. She was starting to take a liking to him. He seemed like someone she might pal around with quite a bit. something about him seemed similar to Cloud and Zack; and yet, he seemed quite a bit different. But, she was still open to whatever that was. She patted a spot next to her. "Come sit by me." Her deep green eyes, bright and moving as the lifestream within the planet.
