She quickly forgot about the lemon question completely. She stopped as he went towards the bush she asumed looked like a Lemon. Her tail flicking back and forth still and her ears straight up.
"Oh!" She looked at the trees around and really didn't know what a human looked like. She tilted her head. She knew what humans where, and had a good idea of what they looked like, but she had never actually seen one. "Well, is that it?" She pointed to a random tree. "Or... do we still have alot of walking?"

Tayse hobbled over to the tree Arael pointed out and gave it a good sniff. "Yes, I believe it is the right tree! It smells of after shave. I marked these things myself, you see, so I'd always be able to find my way!" He tilted his head a little and batted at his twitching ear.
"So, if we walk in this direction for another five minutes, we should come across that stick I planted...if not, well...we'll see."

She nodded. It made sence that he would mark it. "I see. That seems smart to do." She figured it was good to do, or have a photographic memory. Though, she didn't have that. Though, you'd have to remember everything you marked as well, she wouldn't be able to do that either.
"Oh! That sounds fun." she smiled.

"Smart, you say? Well...I don't know how smart I am." He grinned and continued on for five minutes, chatting away about nothing important, then stopped abruptly. "Oh, no...where's the stick? Arael, do you see any sticks? Oohh. I clearly marked it!"
He looked around frantically, but the stick was no where to be seen. "Maybe an animal made off with it? What if--" He stopped short, and his ears pricked. "Huh...I think I hear water. Do you?"

She blinked, she couldn't see any sticks. Or at least any big ones. There were some small twigs on the ground from the bushes near by. She looked at him and shook her head.
Then he said something about water. She tilted her head up alittle and lifed one hear up to listen. Well, she could hear something. She wasn't totally sure that was water or something. "I...I think so?" She looked at him. Tail still at the ground, the fluff getting dirt on the purple furr.
This was fun. She'd have to go on more adventures like this. Though, it'd help a little more if she knew more stuff about the world. Only being a week or so old, she had no clue what to expect.

Tayse followed the sound, and, thank goodness! It led to the exact water-spot he was hoping it would.
"Whoo, that gave me quite a scare! I actually thought we were lost!" He snorted and looked around. Just a littler further down was the stick, and was no doubt carried off by an animal.
"Figures..." He muttered. "Care for a dip?"

She walked behind him to where the water was. She was too curious to even be frightened that they might have been lost. Well, to her, she was lost. She couldn't figure her way out of this place even if she had marked things.
She tilted her head again. "I...I don't know how to swim." She stood there looking up at him. Tail resting much like a lion's would when just standing and looking around. Her ears where slightly up. Her purple eyes beamed up at the adult minya. "I never really tried to."

Tayse grinned down at her and sat down to relax a bit. "Well, to tell you the truth, I can't really swim, either! But this water's so shallow it never mattered..." He looked her up and down, then tilted his head. "But you're a great deal shorter than me."
He paced a bit, trying to think of how to teach this child how to swim. "Well, um...why don't you watch me?" He said, at a total loss for words.

Her tail flicked with curiousity as she nodded. She was alot shorter then him. Though, she knew she would never be this short. It was only a matter of time. Yep! She smiled.
Watching him intensely, "I'll try." She was determined to learn. Indeed, it'd most likely take longer then just this time. But there was always time for improvements.

Tayse nodded his head, then hopped into the water with a little splash. He waded around a bit, making sure his movements would look obvious to Arael: the doggy-paddle.
"Would you like to try? You'll probably float, if nothing else...and if you start to sink, I'll grab you and take you to shore!" He called to her, grinning.

Well, that seemed pretty simple. She just had to move her feet all funny. With out even noticing she started to do his motions on land. Finally, when she did she stopped.
Nodding at him she troted over to where he was. "So... I just jump in" Hopping into the water, it was surprisingly warmer then the ocean. She started to try the motion he showed her and she tried doing on land. It was much easier in the water. She didn't have to put down each foot to keep her standing. "Like this?" She said her back legs holding her up barely.
Perhaps she was missing something. She kicked up from the ground and tried to swim. It wasn't working so well. Her head went under alittle as she franticly tried to stay at the surface.

Tayse grabbed her by the scruff of the neck and carried her to shore. "Hmm. Perhaps we should try floating first? That should make swimming a little easier. But that was a very good first try, luv! Don't be discouraged!"
With that, he flopped onto his back and went motionless, using his back legs to propel him every once in a while. "See? Nothing to it! Just stay there and you float on the water! It's a good technique if you feel swimming is too hard or you're too tired to go on."

She panted for a second and shook herself. Trying to get most of the water off of her. It made her feel heavy when she was on the shore. She looked back up at him and nodded.
Watching him get back in the water and flip to his back she watched. Interesting. How'd he do that? She tilted her head and came closer to the water, letting it touch her paws. "Well, it doesn't seem that hard. I'm just still little." She nodded.
She stepped in to up to her knees and looked at him again. All she had to do was flip to her back when she got in. Her tail flicked in the air for a second before she went in to obove her neck. She tried to flip over, though it wasn't as easy as she thought..
Finally, after a minute or two she was floating on her back. See. She could do that. "piece of cake" She said. Not really knowing what cake was, or what it really ment. But she heard Nash say it once when.

Tayse watched her closely, ready to grab her should she begin to sink. But, after trying for a good minute or so, Arael made it to a floating position. Tayse sighed with relief and clapped his paws together.
"Well done! That's great! Now I can splash you!" He said, not really intending to splash her.

Arael winced her eyes expecting a splash to the face. Though, it seemed nothing came. She opened one eye to see what was happening. She laughed opening her other one. The joke was on her this time.
She gently splashed the water with her back legs making her move slightly. She stopped. Oh? Doing it again a bit more fastly. She was swimming. Or at least she thought she was. "Whee!!"
