"And I," He said, quietly, "Am one Kitsusagi who plans not to pursue any love. Rather pointless, if you ask me. I enjoy being alone." Then, he frowned. "And then there is the case of those Kitsusagi whom should never seriously fall in love - ever. Take Kitsumi for one." The thought of Kitsumi and a mate...Ugh. Really. Ugh.
Saix shrugged, before glancing at her with a slightly risen brow. "Magic, hn?" He was silent for a moment, thinking about this, before snorting. "Past lives...it seems Edgeworth, Kitsumi and I all have had one. Not that I know what Kitsumi was, but Edgeworth was a lawyer." Odd thought. Lawyer Kitsusagi.

A pain seemed to shoot right through her chest for some funny reason Ayako herself couldn't comprehend. God, she never had this kind of feeling before. She gave a rather nervous giggle at the statement. "Hyper kits...that would be...interesting."
She was silent for a while, taking in this information. Past lives...it seemed that quite a few kitsusagi had those. Her eyes left the sky for a moment and she froze completely. It couldn't be...could it? A wolf stood in the distance, watching them. Her greatest fear, ever since she saw her brother turn into one, being a werewolf.
Sensing her fear, the wolf snarled, showing it's teeth as it circled them, coming closer.

"More like hell..." The Kitsusagi grumbled, mainly to himself. Kitsumi alone was too much work to watch over. She herself was still like a child, and even she had kits...the thought almost made Saix shudder with disgust.
He sat quietly for a moment longer, before rising. "Tch, seems I had forgotten why I came out in the first place. Well then, since Kitsumi has already been found, there's no reason for me to stay out here." Then, without even saying a goodbye, he turned.
His ears pricked up however, as he heard a snarl from a small distance away. Turning towards the source of the sound, he frowned. "Not a friend of yours, I'd assume." He spoke with a disinterested tone, his gaze following the movements of the wolf.

You don't know what hell is like. Ayako would have replied to this, but she was still frozen in shock, fear and a lot of feelings jumbled up inside her. She watched him turn away, and her heart lurched again. Why in the world...
"No." She whispered, finally finding her voice as she fumbled for her wand. If he had looked at her, he would see small tremors going down her back. Lifting the wand, she started to say a spell...but what? She didn't dare to hurt the wolf, what if it was Aiden or Dad? It wasn't full moon yet, but Ayako's mind wasn't working properly.
The wolf growled at the blue-haired kitsusagi and then lunged at Ayako. The kitsusagi was too shocked to do anything, trying to think of a spell, but none came to mind.
(Oh shiz, I think Ayako likes him. ;D )

"I didn't think so." Saix muttered, watching the wolf for a moment, before seating himself on the ground again. Turning to look at her, he snorted, a frown on his maw as he noticed the quivering. "If you're scared, then run." His voice was flat, as he stated what he found was the obvious.
Saix didn't flinch when he was growled at, though he steadily kept his gaze on the wolf. His muscles tensed as the wolf lunged - not for him, but for Ayako. In a split second, he glanced at Ayako to see that she was frozen. Cursing under his breath, he leapt, slamming into her to get her out of the way.
"Don't just stand there like an idiot." He snapped, bristling at the wolf.
xDD Hurhur~? I just realized that they never really introduced each other? XDDD

She took in another breath and exhaled quietly as he said that. What he didn't understand was that she was too scared to run. When she felt a weight slam into her, she blinked, almost thinking it was the wolf, when she realized that it was Saix instead. Her cheeks seemed to burn and the contact seemed to have broken the hold her fear had on her mind.
The wolf snarled back at Saix, lunging for him instead, with his claws out. Ayako saw this, and pointed her wand at the creature. It's not full moon. The realization had struck her. "Stupfey!" A bolt of red light shot out of her wand and hit the wolf, stunning it as it was thrown back some distance.
Well, if you count that introduction by Kitsumi. xDD So they know each other's names?
Ayako/Saix kits? xDDD They're both a little stubborn though.
Ayako: I am not.

His facial features remained unchanged as the wolf lunged towards him, but his muscles tensed as he readied himself to dodge the wolf, or wait for a good time to sink his teeth into the creature. Whatever came first - the wolf didn't seem very strong though. Perhaps it'd be a waste of time for Saix to even bother attempting to fight the thing.
No matter what he planned to do, in the end, he didn't get a chance to do any of them as red light struck the creature. Trying to hide his sudden surprise, he turned to look at Ayako, and the wand she held. "Hn. Should have done that sooner." He commented, dryly.

Ayako exhaled a breath she didn't realize she was holding, looking away from the wolf's Stunned body. She ignored his comment, padding over him with worry in her eyes. "Are you okay?"

"Even if you hadn't done that, I can assure you that the wolf wouldn't have had a chance to harm me, before I killed it." He had faced far worse things, in his opinion, in the past. Not that he found it was anyones business, nevermind, as he still thought of her, a strangers.

"Good."Ayako murmured under her breath, not wanting any harm to come to the other kitsusagi. "And...thank you." She said, giving a hesitant smile to Saix. "I would assume that you have some powers then." She said with a tilt of a head. From what she saw from her cousin, Bryna, was it? She could float. Which meant that Uncle Xigbar probably could as well, since Aunt Noko didn't.

The Kitsusagi turned for a moment to glance at Ayako, before turning away, bored. "Tch." Was the short reply to her thanks. He didn't need anyones thanks. He just did what he felt like doing at the time. At her question, he turned to look at her again, before giving a small shrug of his shoulders. "Perhaps."
He didn't seem willing to give out any infomation.

Ayako sighed. "Uncle Xigbar can float, I gather. Or control the element of wind?" Although she would have snapped at a stranger if he had acted as rude, this was...different. Besides, she owed him one anyway.

"Nng." The male looked at her, quiet for a moment, before raising his brow. "And you know this how? Do you speak often with Xigbar?" It seems many of his old comrades had changed - he still didn't plan on following their lead though.

"No, not really."Ayako admitted quietly, swishing her tails. "It's because the one of the kits can, which means it was inherited from him, since Aunt Noko doesn't have those powers."
